“Bacio Kitchen & Catering was a great venue for hosting an on-site dinner party! The price was reasonable for renting the space for 3+ hours. Chef/owner Robert was accommodating and met all our needs. The pub dinner served buffet style was very good-our guests loved it! We brought adult beverages, which were chilled beforehand and served to our guests. I would highly recommend Bacio’s!!“

“First of all the food here is absolutely fantastic. As a huge pickle fan, having a pickle restaurant not that far from home is awesome. Second, the professionalism and friendliness of the staff absolutely blows me away. I made an online order on Friday 4/26 and I tried to schedule it for 6:30pm delivery . However when I submitted the order it said it would be ready and delivered around 2:10-2:30. I called the restaurant to see if it was possible to change the delivery time as I was still at work and not going to be home when the delivery would come, however, I was informed that because they do third-party delivery through DoorDash that I would have to contact DoorDash, which I was fine with completely understandable. However, I had to get back to work and did not have time to contact DoorDash myself later on in the afternoon, I received a call from the restaurant stating that they were fighting with DoorDash for me and they were going to refund my order as you know it’s really unfortunate when food sits out for however many hours and they’d really like me to give them another chance. I just thought it was so professional and so friendly they went out of their way to correct something that wasn’t even their fault, I would go here again and again and again 1000 times over just for the staff that’s how amazing they are.“

“Ok so the cheesesteak is definitely than all other pizza shops. It’s about 11” meat is very juicy and flavorful with lots of melted creamy cheese and the onions were caramelized perfectly. I would absolutely give that steak sandwich a 20 out of 10“

“We just had the best meal here! My partner and I had planned on going elsewhere but we got there after 8pm and didn't have a reservation, so the wait was going to be an hour. We walked over to Wm. Mulherin's Sons and they got us a table in about 15 minutes. We proceeded to have one of the best meals I've had in a while! Starters: the octopus was crispy but succulent and the focaccia was pillowy perfection! Cocktails were excellent. The sausage pizza had a wonderful mix of flavors and the crust!! ? I could have eaten the pizza crust on its own, honestly. Thick and chewy on the edges and perfectly done throughout. We also shared a seasonal pasta with ramps, morels, peas, and asparagus, and got the chocolate mousse cake and gelato for dessert, which were heavenly. Our server Jamyl was attentive and warm, and checked in regularly. All in all, a perfect meal in a lovely location!“

I walked in and it seems that the excellence in customer service is their currency in this restaurant. I opted for a special of the day - pork pieces with skin still attached cooked in an amazing salsa verde, served with warm house-made tortillas, rice, and beans. So delicious eaten taco-style with a just-right hot sauce. My wife had a shrimp dish in mildly spicy tomato sauce and side salad, also delicious. If you like dry overcooked no flavor garlic knots that skimp on garlic, go elsewhere.The pizza is in my Top 2 and I’m very particular about my pizza….fresh, perfectly cooked, ratios of ingredients ideal and not too thin (I hate cracker-like crust pizza. If I wanted that, I’d get a flatbread) it had the perfect texture, chew and nice amount of cheese. “In tonight again after some time away, sitting at the bar, Elvis the host offered a warm friendly greeting at the door. On Friday night Andy is bartending, friendly and great service. The location is excellent in the 1400 block of Chestnut in Center City Philadelphia. Just around the corner from mass transit, city hall and many things you will enjoy, It's connected to the W Hotel. The dining room is comfortable but the music is sometimes loud and generic like elevator music. On a Sunday morning Joseph G. was my server and he too was friendly and attentive, there were very few customers in. The menu is limited but you will find something for everyone. For Dinner on Friday I had Risotto with butternut squash, it was good, not strong flavor of the squash. On Saturday I enjoyed the meatballs, they were delicious and full of flavor. I have heard a number of guests mention how they look forward to coming to Philly end enjoying their meatballs. Multiple nights I enjoyed the TORTA AL CIOCCOLATO it is covered in chocolate ganache, comes with pistachio crumbles and pistachio gelato. This is in my opinion, the BEST dessert in Philadelphia. The staff from the door to the bar to the dining room and management is excellent, focused on your individual experience making every visit memorable and a special occasion.“

When I walked in to their shop I saw several happy customers eating away, enjoying their food. The place seats about 20 people. They have added Birria pizza to the selection, it's like "Sunday Dinner at Mom's on a slice" it is a very flavorful slow cooked pot roast type beef on pizza crust with excellent flavors and if your over 50 it is likely to take you on a journey back to Sunday dinner at home when you were growing up in the US. It is served with a unique au jus dipping gravy. I still find the dining room uncomfortable, the music and tv is always tuned for the staff not customers and the tables almost all rock and don't match up to each other or the booths well, you have to sit on cracks and such. Also the temperature in the dining room is always a comfortable for the kitchen staff even if you as a customer need gloves and a hat to sit and eat. Tables rarely get wiped. The staff is all pretty nice and the location is convenient to city hall, love park, and transit. I highly suggest you try this today! Take it to go!“
