“I had dinner with my wife on Friday night. We live 2 blocks away. Normally we stop in to a have few drinks and get some apps, which are always good. Last night I tried some of the dinner choices. I couldn’t decide so I got the Seafood Gumbo which was outstanding. Then I got the Southern Fried CatFish with the mustard sauce, which was amazing. They were both big portions, (I didn’t finish either, although I tried, haha). My wife had buffalo cauliflower and dry Cajun wings which were both really good. The food is a hidden gem that we have in Palmyra, the prices are good and the service is always great. We had the young guy with hat and he was awesome. The bartenders even jump out to make sure the tables are ok. The acoustic guy playing was just right also. I know the owners have worked hard to keep 5 West going the last few years. Keep up the Great work!!“

“We had a great night at the Meetinghouse. Great atmosphere on a Thursday night. Place was buzzing. We had some super food, a small menu but perfect. Kinda like tapas if you want to share. Tried the mystery wine, a gamble that didn't pay off for us, it was like a fruit wine. Safer with the white. Staff and service were excellent. Friendly place and enjoyed chatting to some locals. Worth a visit and glad we searched it out.“

“I was born and raised in bridesburg was going there every weekend as a kid till my early 20s moved to selbyville delaware which is fenwick Island/oceancity maryland and my step dad was in the army went to Germany and lived in California every chance we get we drive 3 hours to get wings and potatoe logs he has never had wings or logs like brynes we can't find anything like it we bring home reheat and enjoy“

“I stopped in here during Happy Hour one Friday afternoon and had a very enjoyable time. I met some friendly people and engaged in some good conversations with the regular customers. Mostly concerning sports and alcohol beverages. All three bartenders were excellent servers and quickly replenished our drinks. Can't wait until they start serving food as they just reopened under new management. It's a small place with just a straight bar but it was a friendly atmosphere.“

“This past weekend, after my son’s first penance, a group of us wanted to go grab lunch. After an unfortunate experience somewhere else we called Dooney’s to see if they could accommodate a party of 17 last minute, and they said of course. Half of our party was kids 7 and under. “We had an excellent dining experience at The Pour House! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. We started with the oysters and nachos—both were incredibly fresh and flavorful. For our main course, we tried several sandwiches and burgers, all recommended by our amazing server, Marissa. Marissa was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She made great suggestions and made sure our group was well taken care of throughout the meal. The service and food were equally impressive, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and are in the mood for oysters.“

“I stopped here one Saturday on my way home from center city and had a very good evening. I opened the door and was greeted by a friend who performs at so many local drinking establishments in Northeast Philly. As it was a spontaneous decision to go here I was very surprised to see him. Located on Rhawn Street off of Frankford Avenue in Mayfair/Holmesburg. It has an latge open area for music and dancing with long straight bar. I didn't have the food so I can't rate it. Our barmaid/server Laurie was friendly, witty and an excellent host. I met several friendly and engaging people here and will surely stop back.“

My partner and I have never once felt unwelcome or displeased with the service and quality here, and I want to specifically call out some of the wonderful friendly bartenders we’ve encountered here who always keep our spirits up and serve with warmth and competence - Marty, Shawna, Chloe, and Gianna - I remember your names because I genuinely enjoy coming when one of you are on shift. Justin the bouncer is a polite and friendly face despite his position and we love seeing him as well. I’m very pleased to have found this affordable, high quality local mainstay (with some pretty fun programming like Trivia and Karaoke as well!).“

“Daly’s has 3 Diamond 7’ pool tables in the bar area, which is a huge plus. My team played in an APA tournament there last weekend and the tables play great. The service was excellent. The prices are right. The food is bar food. I’d go back and hang out in a Friday night for pool and beer. Also, pretty solid beer selection.“
