“First time trying both the Chicken & Beef Doner Boxes.I was pleasantly surprised how GOOD everything was! The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. I highly recommend giving this a try ! We will definitely be return customers ! The ladies were quite helpful and informative about the food and it's history as well as super nice !“

“A literal hole-in-the-wall (window in the wall) run by a sweet and hardworking Korean duo who always greet you with a friendly smile. My go-to order is the shrimp tempura roll. There can be a bit of a wait depending on the crowd because they make each roll to order, but it's definitely worth it if you're not in a rush!“

“We finally got to check this place out when in the area for a book signing. OMG... EVERYTHING was so delicious. It's all slightly under-seasoned, which is typical of restaurants to remain more neutral, but easily remedied. I was just beyond thankful for all the gluten-free options and versions of the non-gf offerings. I had the gluten-free Country Fried Chick’n, w White Gravy Bowl, Chick'n Parm Hero, and Buffalo Chik'n Mac n Cheese. All of them were SO good and well-made. The sandwich needed no seasoning, but the white gravy was lacking salt and pepper and the mac n cheese was a bit dry and needed more buffalo sauce. Thankfully, I had some extra cheese sauce and buffalo sauce at home. I may have to buy extra cheese sauce from there next time we order. All of the flavors I wanted were there, overall. My husband had the regular versions of the Sausage, Peppers & Onions Hero, Kielbasa and Sauerkraut Hero w mustard, Cheesesteak Empanadas, and Corn Bread. He couldn't say enough good things about the sausage sandwiches and declared them the best he's had post AND pre-vegan! He loved the empanadas so much he's going to grab a cheesesteak sub next time. He described the cornbread as fluffy, flavorful, and one of the best he's had. He sliced it in half and topped it with some chili the next day. It took us a few days to get through it all, but it was so worth the big order. I wish there was some tables so you could enjoy it hot and fresh, but it was a nice night and we got some air as we ate outside. The owner was very kind and obviously puts a lot of love and effort into his food. It's 45 minutes away without traffic, but we'll definitely make this a destination from time to time. Absolutely worth it!“

“This is such a lovely spot. I first tried this spot many years ago. There used to be a Polish restaurant one block south of here, Neptune. We would go there and then come to brodo and grab a broth to go, often for my dad in the VA hospital up on 23 St. few places would sell you just broth.

I absolutely love the Hearth broth and you can add the ginger turmeric, which I highly recommend. I also ordered and tried the beef broth with ginger and turmeric, it was fine. Oddly enough, the hearth had a richer, beefier flavor than the beef did. It’s just a heartier flavor, I highly recommend it. I could easily pop over to enjoy a cup of broth in place of my daily coffee, it’s a similarly comfortable cup that travels well.“

“This takeout fish restaurant kills it with both flavor, portion and value.

You get a whole broiled fish and adding mere $3 gets you rice and side dishes.

Fish: 5 stars all the way as portions are big [whole fish halved], properly cooked with crispy skin and juicy meat. Given the price of fish at local fresh market, its a bargain for what you get full cooked.

Side dishes: This is a mixed bag. They lean heavily towards spicy/hot when it comes to their side dishes. Not children friendly.

Rice and Soup: Rice portions are sizeable.

An average adult can get 2 meals out of their fish and rice & side dish deal. Absolute bargain!“

“Darby’s Wings – Totally Hit the Spot!
I was seriously craving wings, and since we live in Harrison—right next to Newark—my husband suggested we check out Darby’s Wings. Great call. Our order was ready in about 12 minutes, and the wings came out perfectly crispy and incredibly juicy. The sticky wing sauce? Absolutely mouthwatering. One of the staff members (or maybe the owner?) was also super sweet and gave us two different flavors of C&C soda to try. We’ll definitely be back the next time a wing craving strikes!“

“I order office lunch for 60 employees every week and have historically used EZCater. Everyone should make the switch to ordering directly through Orbital Kitchen! The food is delicious, travels well, great portion sizes, there is something for everyone, and cheaper than other catering sites as you're ordering directly from them. It's near where I live, and I remember my late grandfather getting food from here years ago (although I'm sure the place has changed hands since then).This is not a place you can sit down in-- it's strictly takeaway food. When you call, you either get someone who speaks and understands English well, or you get someone who, well... doesn't. In the latter case, you just have to make sure you get your order read back to you to avoid any mistakes.The food...is delicious. Since we live near the place, we barely have time to sit down before the delivery person calls to tell us he's arrived. The food gets here maybe ten-fifteen minutes after we order it, so our food is always hot when it arrives. Food's always fresh-tasting and satisfying. My go-to dish is shrimp with broccoli--the broccoli is always perfect, with a good bite. Their General Tso's items could stand more broccoli (*when* did Chinese restaurants stop adding broccoli to that dish?) so I order extra for a dollar moreWe can actually tell if the chef has changed by the quality of the food, or how thick the sauce is or isn't. Our favourite days seem to be Tuesday and Saturday. It's good all the time, but those days seem to be much better than others.I have not tried everything on the menu because reasons, but we've ordered from here consistently over the span of six years, give or take, so that should give you some idea as to how good the food is.My only qualm with Kong Ming is they don't have brown rice.
