“Authentic Turkish sweets. We picked 2 lbs of knafeh and 2 lbs of baclava. We went on a Sunday near closing so options were limited, but thats all we went for. The owner makes you a million samples and he's so lovely. Great way to support local, small bakeries.“

“I visited Ameer Bakery on my own and had such a great experience. I wasn’t familiar with a lot of the items, but the staff was super helpful and took the time to explain everything. Their kindness really stood out. I tried a few Palestinian pastries, and the baklava was absolutely amazing—fresh, perfectly sweet, and full of flavor. I also picked up a bottle of their homemade olive oil, which I’m excited to cook with. The bakery has a friendly, welcoming vibe, and the daily specials posted outside make it worth checking in often. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic treats and genuine service.“

“I come here regularly for their amazing Persian breads. Their Sangak is great but also recently I got their Barbary bread and it really surprised me since it tastes and feels exactly like the authentic Barbary you can only find in Iran. I am very thankful to Gandom Bakery for perfecting their art and providing these great products in this area.“

“This dessert shop is such a gem in this Palestine nabe! They serve the best kunefe I’ve had — crispy, cheesy, and absolutely satisfying every time. I enjoyed the baklava also with its perfectly sweetness and flakiness. Add to that is the affogato, which pairs perfectly with the desserts.
Even more special is watching the staff prepare the baklava and kunefe — it feels like watching an artist perform a zen ritual. Coming all the way from Vietnam on and off, but whenever I’m nearby, I always make sure to stop in. It’s become one of my must-visit spots for a sweet treat!“

“I've had their baklava a couple of times, from friends bringing it over. It's always been AMAZING! I decided to take a ride there and check it out myself. The staff was awesome- very friendly and even let us try a couple of things we had not ever had (one tasting led to me buying a bunch too!). The baklava, again, was amazing as were some cookies. I highly recommend trying Nablus! We will be going back soon!“
“Gorgeous restaurant. Always very busy so best to book... unlike us! But we got seated almost immediately. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Very friendly staff and lovely open viewing kitchens. Superb value for money. Right next to railway station and attached to two other restaurants that are also great.“

“Don’t buy for yourself unless you have a ton self control.... the crumb cakes are AMAZING!!!! But...... just my husband and myself have nearly finished both a classic crumb and chocolate crumb in just a matter of days. 🤦🏻♀️ but they’re soooooooo good, just can’t stop eating them! Lol“
