“This place offers some of the most delicious and incredible vegan/vegetarian items ever!! Jeff, the owner/chef, is super creative and talented! I had the yuba hoagie, which was so divine that I finished the whole thing! If you love garlic, the toum dipping sauce that comes with the za'atar fries is unreal! I also had the cauliflower salad with the tahini dressing. The combo was unmatched! Oh, another one of my favorites is the patty melt!! “I was in Philly with my boss and a colleague for an industry event. They were asking for a place to go for a bite and a beer. I asked my daughter who is local for some recommendations and she recommended Good Dog Bar. There are many great restaurants in the center city area, but this one does a great job. At 6:30 on a Monday, the place was quite busy. We were able to get a booth. I didn't see any tables for large groups downstairs. Most of the bar area and tables were full when we started ordering. The beer selection is diverse and prices are reasonable. For my main dish, I had to try to vegan Philly Cheesesteak. You might say that this is quite blasphemous being in Philly and doing vegan. I'm not sure how they did it, but it was very tasty. They also have some awesome fries with it. As far as parking, find a lot or garage or it's better to use mass trans or bike.“

“I'm from Maryland and have no local spots that can make a good cheesesteak. I can get lucky with a decent one from Pizza Bolis but it's never consistent. My first trip to Philly and Leo's did not disappoint. I got mushrooms peppers tomatoes and American cheese because that's standard ( usually swap the cheese). It was the best cheesesteak or sandwich type of meal I've ever had. Fresh ingredients, the meat was cooked and seasoned so well. I will be making a trip at least once a year for one of these.“

This is actually the best cheesesteak I've had in this area, and one of the best including in Philly. The wings are really good too. I got the Hippy Benny and it was PHENOMENAL!!! The ingredients were fresh and the potatoes were incredible. I was a tad disappointed they were out of the fresh albacore tuna melt but the blackened shrimp tacos I ordered instead were delicious. My boyfriend enjoyed the fish and chips. Miranda, our server, was friendly, prompt, and very helpful with both the drink menu and food options. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in Port Angeles.“
“We went here for a quick bite and weren't disappointed. We had a chicken and a beef Philly. Both of those were huge sandwiches for the money! The beef one was chipotle and it was quite delicious but very spicy. So if you a looking for a little kick I would highly recommmend it. We also had old bay fries which had the potential to be good but they were so dang salty. They come with cheese whiz, but it doesn't help how salty they are. Lastly we got a cheese pizza. That was mid at best. Almost no cheese on it and a mediocre sauce. The place does have seating in the back despite how it looks, it just ordering was slightly confusing because they had a sign over a tablet that said order here but you really should order at the countertop because the tablet doesn't have all the options of things you could order like drinks or slices. Overall though a really good place to grab a bite, excellent staff and good food!“

Food spans a cross between gastro pub and dive bar (read: soups, chili, wings, steak tip sandwiches; quesadilla, nachos, and a variety of sandwiches.) Prices are reasonable and sandwiches come with fries or salad. The beer list is pretty long for a neighborhood watering hole. I snagged a pint of a great black lager, and also tried the Fiddlehead white which was nice too. There were about eight brews on draft and double that number in cans and bottles, plus ciders. Sitting under a tree trapped up in fairy lights on the outdoor patio was quite nice. Indoors is dark wood and a long bar and TV screens. Good place for sports fans or biergarten lunchers. “This was the highest rated cheesesteak joint near my hotel and I can't say that I was disappointed! The shop is a hole in the wall and it might not look like the best place for cheesesteaks since they've got pizzas by the slice waiting at the counter. After my first bite, I was impressed! The steak was juicy, the "cheese whiz" (melted nacho cheese) gave the sandwich a touch more moisture, and the bun was fresh, soft and chewy. The fries were a good addition that made it a huge and filling meal!“
