“Went to Maria's by Di Paolo's for music and dinner show. The food and service were good. The venue is too small for a live band. The acoustics are terrible. It's wedding seating, large round tables, assigned by restaurant.“

“Food was excellent. What’s a good Italian restaurant without good Italian bread? None was offered to enjoy the juices that remained on the bottom of our dish. It is also unfortunate that wine could not be enjoyed with our meal, a neighborhood thing we were told. If coming during a cold winter night don’t forget to dress extra warm, a warm cozy atmosphere wasn’t present…..but our food was the best I have had in Wilmington.“

“Tonight my husband and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary by ordering catering from Italian Kitchen. They were our wedding caterers and we absolutely loved the food! Our favorite dish from our wedding was the mushroom ravioli and we thought it would be great to have that for dinner tonight to celebrate. When I went on the website, there wasn’t mushroom ravioli on the menu so I was worried they didn’t have it anymore. I called and the staff said they’d ask their boss if they could make it and turns out they could make it for us! We got a whole tray! My husband and I were so happy and it tasted just like it tasted two years ago! So good!!! Thank you, Italian Kitchen staff and owners for making my anniversary special and delicious!!!! 💕“

“First and foremost yes it’s inside of what seems to be a dieing mall. But to get to the point there is basically more food spots in the mall then actual interesting stores in my opinion so I went there to eat because I hadn’t had food yet. With that being said I kept walking almost to the end of the mall by where sears was and there it was. I have to say the place is great from service to food everything was amazing! If I was more local I would definitely stop in often. Our server was super friendly and outgoing she had no issue getting us anything that was needed she even took a soup back that I didn’t like without any hesitation or attitude that most other places would not do. The food was great the place was clean bar options were great like I said I have not 1 complaint . Picture was from the complimentary bread they give , and a special of the lobster/crab and shrimp ravioli . We also got the chicken parm sandwich so cheesy and the special steak which was pretty loaded! Crinkle cut fries with cheese were also great! Unfortunately didn’t take pics of the other stuff but if you like Italian food do not hesistate to stop by!!!“

My boyfriend didn't see chicken marsala on the menu. only chicken parmesan.He asked and they made him the chicken marsala. So good too. We ordered wine. I had the Cabernet and he had the Pino Noir .Both wines were rich and savory. Very tasty. The floor manager even came up to make sure we were happy. That was very nice. we received the check and the server boxed up our food for us. The check really was not expensive. I paid and gave a 25% tip. I normally don't care either way with itailian resteraunts but this place was so nice. Rustic and warm atmosphere, pleasant staff, and amazing food. Will visit again for sure.“

Kevin, Paul, Rob, and Mickey are all really cool staff and are when they have down-time they love to crack jokes to make your day. This place is split into a takeout spot and a dine-in spot. “I’ve heard good thing about the brick oven pizza so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered the brick oven plain pizza and buffalo wings. The pizza was very good cooked perfect. It was crispy a little chard on the crust gave it a nice little charcoal flavor. The wings were cooked crispy. I never had the wings here do I settled for the medium sauce. It was tasty and not overly hot. Fast and friendly service at a fair price. Will definitely be back.“

“After 32 years out of NJ pizza has been disappointing. So now that I am in NJ for work until July, my quest is to eat 2 slices of cheese pizza at every place the locals recommend. Today, it's Joe's, and they did not disappoint!!! Highly recommend to any visitor and other locals. The test of good pizza is the point folds off the plate and it leaves a nice red oily stain on the paper plate...both were spot perfect...the crust was perfect, the cheese was gooey and flavor top notch. if I work in the area tomorrow, it's calzone or stromboli!!“
