“The best pizza and subs anywhere. Furr-get Aboutit I had a slice of cheese pizza and an orange soda while waiting for the rest of my order and it turned out to be the best pizza ever. I also had a delicious cheese-steak sub with fries and my mother got an egg sandwich. All the food came out quick fast and in a hurry and was extremely tasty. Would recommend to any local or hungry traveler. I met the two brothers that run the place and they seem like good guys.“

“We were in Wilmington for my son’s lacrosse event and stopped at Scalessa’s, what a find! Aaron gave us amazing service and made us feel right at home. The chopped antipasti salad was fresh and flavorful, my son loved his chicken parm, and Grandma’s Sunday Gravy was next level, true home-style Italian cooking. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Italian kitchen is a great one stop shop for all your catering orders. I showed up to pick up the sandwiches for our church lunch and I had put the wrong date on the order!!! They were able to accommodate me and worked like crazy to get it done. The cake I ordered was superb!!! If it had not been for the kindness of this store today, I don’t know what I would have done. The cashier, God Bless you. You went above and beyond to fix my mistake. Love you all!!!“

“I am Holly's husband we went to Pastabilities on Saturday night with our son and his fiancee. Everything we ate was on point! From the appetizers, entrees to desert! We found the service to be excellent, Otis was our waiter and he couldn't have been more friendly or professional. Everything we ordered was freshly made and delicious. We will definitely be back Luigi serves some of the best Italian food I ever ate since my Grandmothers cooking!“

Lauren has that way of scanning the bar/restaurant for a refill, making sure everything is cool, or the check. It’s not loud so you can converse with friends-and new friends! Community vibe. “This is our favorite Wilmington restaurant, and the food never disappoints. So delicious! The beef tartare was so interesting with an Asian flare, the squash appetizer was earthy and warm and delightful. The duck was tender, as can be, and the pork shoulder with the coconut, sweet potato was to die for. The apple dessert was great as well.“

“We visited last night. We were greeted right away. The service was so good. I had Shells Aurora. Simply amazing. Pasta and chicken was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend didn't see chicken marsala on the menu. only chicken parmesan.He asked and they made him the chicken marsala. So good too. We ordered wine. I had the Cabernet and he had the Pino Noir .Both wines were rich and savory. Very tasty. The floor manager even came up to make sure we were happy. That was very nice. we received the check and the server boxed up our food for us. The check really was not expensive. I paid and gave a 25% tip. I normally don't care either way with itailian resteraunts but this place was so nice. Rustic and warm atmosphere, pleasant staff, and amazing food. Will visit again for sure.“

“have been going here for twenty years never had a bad sandwich or a bad interaction with anyone working for them. I have been home bound and on oxygen for three years now and the kindness the staff has shown when I call to order or the regular two drivers who always take the time to make sure I get my delivery knowing it takes me few minutes to make it to the door is nothing short of amazing. “Five of us had lunch at Cafe Verdi today. I only wish we had discovered it sooner! Between us we had four different pasta dishes and 1 salmon burger. Everything was excellent- fresh, nicely presented, and delicious! The family restaurant feel, the lovely music, and the people on staff made for a most enjoyable and memorable afternoon! “Today, I put in a delivery order via one of those food delivery services. As it turns out, the restaurant gave the wrong order to the delivery service, and couldn't get ahold of the driver.\n\nThey called me right after the driver left to let me know that there was an issue and they were trying to get ahold of him, and then they called again a couple minutes later to say that they couldn't reach him.\n\nThey told me I could keep the incorrect order where it arrived, and also the manager headed over to deliver the correct order herself (arriving just moments after the original driver).\n\nI was very impressed with the customer service, especially considering we had actually ordered via a third party service.\n\nBest pizza around. Fantastic customer service. Definitely 5 stars.“

“Update: We have lived here nearly a year and this is still our go-to place. My oldest daughter is now vegan and they custom make her vegan breadsticks. Love these guys! We order from here usually once per week. Their plain pizza is classic. I think they put cinnamon in their crust—there is something special. It’s the only pizza that all of my kids like. Win! Oh, and the guy that answers the phone and does the register is always so nice! Highly recommend!“

“After 32 years out of NJ pizza has been disappointing. So now that I am in NJ for work until July, my quest is to eat 2 slices of cheese pizza at every place the locals recommend. Today, it's Joe's, and they did not disappoint!!! Highly recommend to any visitor and other locals. The test of good pizza is the point folds off the plate and it leaves a nice red oily stain on the paper plate...both were spot perfect...the crust was perfect, the cheese was gooey and flavor top notch. if I work in the area tomorrow, it's calzone or stromboli!!“

“Recently hosted a 60th Birthday celebration and treated a large group of friends & family from Mazzela’s catering menu. I highly recommend Mazzela’s Italian Restaurant for all special occasion food needs and for any time that you are in the mood for the best homemade tasting Italian foods! Everyone at restaurant was friendly and very helpful, which made ordering and pick up convenient and easy. The menu selection was great and all of the food was delicious and was done to perfection! My guests raved about the high quality Italian ingredients and the homemade flavors of everything that we served.“

“I could not be more thrilled! Nowadays you have to search hard to find a place like this. Outstanding quality of food. And very generous portions. I’ve been eating here for a long time. It’s about time I give this place a great review! I ordered over medium eggs, as I often do, and they are perfect each and every time. The bacon is top quality and they don’t hold back on the portions. Delicious potatoes and toast. Excellent food and service and two of us had a full breakfast for less than forty bucks, and that included a nice tip! Best breakfast around by far! I highly recommend Taste Budz.“

“Yatz's is the BEST. Definitely in the top 3 of Delaware. The Ladies who create those delicious mouth watering subs are tremendously nice and very kind. The best part for me are the Tomatoes that Yatz's uses. I do not know where they get it from but when its laid on that turkey sub with a bag of chips and a cold one from their great juice selection....food ambiance at its finest. I usually pay for extra tomatoes!! Oh and the water ice in summertime, salud...“

“I want to start with the fact that we placed an order for delivery it arrived fast and hot, except it had been tipped and the toppings slid to one side. So why 5 stars, well I called and they immediately offered resolution, they remade it and got the replacement to us quick. The pizza was amazing, the topping balance was perfect, the sauce was flavorful, the crust was a little chewy but fantastic. I would definitely order from here again.“

“Everything we had was high quality, delicious, and very affordable. Started off with the Buffalo Chicken Tots for the table and they were devoured in seconds. We had the Philly Dog, a Chicken Cheesesteak, Triple Decker BLT, and the Sausage Breakfast Sandwich and we were all very happy with our sandwiches!“

“We were running 1/2 hour late on a Saturday night yet they were still so welcoming. Mary was our server and she was amazing, attentive, kind and not overbearing. Then there was the food....... OMG!! The tomahawk for 2 was amazing. Cooked to perfection( very hard to do based on the size) and covered in what felt like pounds of crabmeat, scallops and shrimp!! The place is a must and I would and will be back for their food over and over!! We loved it!!“
