“The food is clean and has flavor but most of the time it gets too you 10-20 minutes earlier than when they tell you and your veggies are not cooked all the way through. As you eat you are crunching away on all the veggies. You need to take the time and cook everything and not worry about the time it gets to the person that orders. All in all a nice/clean spot.“

There were two other tables of people when we were there and they both told us how incredible this place is and the dishes they recommended and that they come here all the time. I had the sambal sauce Malaysian entree with shrimp and it was sooo delicious, and I usually am not a huge fan of shrimp but it was cooked so perfectly and fit the flavor palette so well. 5 stars!!!“

“Actually, it was my girlfriend who introduced me to Korean food since she likes them, but I tell you my first experience was awesome. The waitress, don’t remember her name was very kind and helpful as she assisted us through selection and preparing the Korean food. At first everything was new to me, but after I got my first taste of the Korean BBQ and hot pot, it felt like “man, you gotta come back?.”
The diner was quite expensive but worth the price as you get to choose whatever you want. Would recommend this for a group, like a family. But if it is you alone or you and someone else, get the lunch. But I will keep coming back!! Good food and good customer service ?.“

“Just had the best Chinese takeout I’ve had in years! The chicken was of good quality (no big chunks of fat like many places). The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. The sauce was delicious and not overly sweet. When I placed my order on the phone, the employee who answered misheard part of my order. I didn’t realize this until I went to pick up the food. They apologized, quickly made the new dish, and put a complimentary sushi roll in my takeout bag. So professional. The restaurant is also nice - I would’ve dined in had I known beforehand!“

“I always like their food specially tilapia.But the tilapia yesterday was so fishy,Im not sure if they have a new cook or if the fish was from different store... “Had a very satisfying meal here. The dumplings were delicious. I tried the boiled and pan-fried dumplings, and I like the boiled ones better. The pan-fried ones looked smaller than in the picture, and the filling was a bit too salty for me. The boiled dumplings were perfect though. The dumpling skin was just the right thickness (not too thick, but also not wonton-wrapper-thin), and the filling was flavorful and juicy. There were probably 1-2 shrimp pieces in each filling.

The scallion pancake was also so good. It was flaky (like a roti) and really not too greasy, which I appreciate because scallion pancakes usually are really greasy. They were very fragrant and just made perfectly.

The beef tendon was also good. It had a good chew, and wasn't cooked down too much, which is how I like it. It was on the saltier side though.

The mushroom meat noodles weren't bad, but probably my least favorite thing out of everything we ordered. Everything else was just really good. The mushroom mix was a bit sour (and not from the picked mustard). The noodles were a bit overcooked and a little bit too thick for my liking. The clear broth it came with was fragrant, light, and comforting though.

Would love to return. Food was delicious and satisfying. Out of everything, my favorites were the boiled dumplings and scallion pancakes. Service was great, and atmosphere was clean and calm (they were playing some jazz music surprisingly). I did find it odd though that the servers rushed to give us the check and made us sign when we were still eating, even though the store was 90% empty (we came in at 11am Saturday). I wasn't sure what that was about, but the service leading to that point had all been fine.“

I generally don't like to waste anything but was very little left really no reason to take home. There is a lot of variety and selection to try. “Hewa is the restaurant where my love for sushi started. It is a great value with a wide variety and is a staple dinner option at my house. However after eating sushi from several other restaurants I have to unfortunately say, it is not the best. Don't get me wrong it's still really good and sometimes I just need a good heeling of Hewa, but it's the variety that allows Hewav to excel not necessarily the quality. That being said they are the best of the middle, only being beat by higher end swanky sushi places. Everyone should go here for the every day sushi or Chinese, it is just a solid meal everytime.“

“This version of fried chicken is awesome! The crunch is great. The flavours are awesome. The chicken comes out piping hot. This is not fast food. It is good food. It takes them time to cook. For those reviews that complain of how long it takes, read the menu. It specifically recommends you order "25 minutes in advance". As for the poor customer service, it is fine. They aren't overly nice with "my pleasure" every 5 seconds, but that's okay. They are knowledgeable and got my order correct. I don't need anything else. If you are someone who needs to be waited on hand and foot, go eat fine dining. The poor reviews here are unjustified. I look forward to trying something other than their chicken on my next visit.“

“Aside from great accommodations tea and fare these folks are honest to a fault. I have had two occasions where I left something behind first my wallet with around 1500 cash left there for 4 hours. They kept it for me. On the second my cell phone in the restroom. In a world where everyone is trying to get over these folks have stuck to morals and honor. “We hesitated briefly about hiring a "day of" planner for our daughter's New Year's Eve wedding. We are so happy we did, and that we hired Ang. She helped us in so many ways, I can't even begin to mention them all. We just knew everything would go smoothly, and it did! A perfect example is what a disabled guest shared with me: Ang greeted her at the reception venue, asked her where she wanted to sit during the cocktail hour, and what she wanted to eat and drink, and she checked back with her several times. That guest is so appreciative of being treated that way. The icing on the cake was that she drove my wife and I home at 1:00 a.m. after she gathered all of the important things we needed to take with us. She is just the best.“

This is our second time ordering and we wanted to try something different. The Fiancé order beef Lo-mein, I order a MaLa Dry pot with chicken, baby corn, carrots, broccoli, cashews, pineapple, lo-mein and fried rice and sesame seeds. This was my first time ordering this plate, and let me tell you it was huge!! For $15 this plate can easily feed 4 people. I took some for me and my 6 year old and there’s still enough for 3 people. The picture was after dinner and does not include the rice that came with it. The chicken was tender, the broccoli was crispy and the pineapple was sweet. If you have never had fried pineapple and cashews rice you should definitely try it from China Cook. We also order cheese wontons and they were sweet and crunchy. Delicious! The spring rolls are freshly fried and have great flavor. The chicken and cheese roll was really good. We spent around $38 but the food is worth it. They have plenty of other items, like sushi and bento boxes. Order online and pick up in store is as easy as it sounds! Try them, you won’t regret it!“
