“Absolutely incredible !!! Small place with a great vibe inside, and the food is just to die for. There were two other tables of people when we were there and they both told us how incredible this place is and the dishes they recommended and that they come here all the time. I'll definitely be back!! I had the sambal sauce Malaysian entree with shrimp and it was sooo delicious, and I usually am not a huge fan of shrimp but it was cooked so perfectly and fit the flavor palette so well. 5 stars!!!“

“Just had the best Chinese takeout I’ve had in years! The chicken was of good quality (no big chunks of fat like many places). The vegetables were fresh and not overcooked. The sauce was delicious and not overly sweet. When I placed my order on the phone, the employee who answered misheard part of my order. I didn’t realize this until I went to pick up the food. They apologized, quickly made the new dish, and put a complimentary sushi roll in my takeout bag. So professional. The restaurant is also nice - I would’ve dined in had I known beforehand!“

“Actually, it was my girlfriend who introduced me to Korean food since she likes them, but I tell you my first experience was awesome. The waitress, don’t remember her name was very kind and helpful as she assisted us through selection and preparing the Korean food. At first everything was new to me, but after I got my first taste of the Korean BBQ and hot pot, it felt like “man, you gotta come back?.”

“Hewa is the restaurant where my love for sushi started. It is a great value with a wide variety and is a staple dinner option at my house. However after eating sushi from several other restaurants I have to unfortunately say, it is not the best. Don't get me wrong it's still really good and sometimes I just need a good heeling of Hewa, but it's the variety that allows Hewav to excel not necessarily the quality. That being said they are the best of the middle, only being beat by higher end swanky sushi places. Everyone should go here for the every day sushi or Chinese, it is just a solid meal everytime.“

For those reviews that complain of how long it takes, read the menu. It specifically recommends you order "25 minutes in advance". As for the poor customer service, it is fine. They aren't overly nice with "my pleasure" every 5 seconds, but that's okay. They are knowledgeable and got my order correct. I don't need anything else. If you are someone who needs to be waited on hand and foot, go eat fine dining. The poor reviews here are unjustified. I look forward to trying something other than their chicken on my next visit.“

“This is a very good combination Thai/Chinese restaurant however I think their menu is now abbreviated and they have stopped making the Thai dishes. I have had the Thai food and it was good but usually ordered Chinese dishes which are also very good. They now have very reasonable lunch and dinner specials with choice or rice and eggroll. “We hesitated briefly about hiring a "day of" planner for our daughter's New Year's Eve wedding. We are so happy we did, and that we hired Ang. She helped us in so many ways, I can't even begin to mention them all. We just knew everything would go smoothly, and it did! A perfect example is what a disabled guest shared with me: Ang greeted her at the reception venue, asked her where she wanted to sit during the cocktail hour, and what she wanted to eat and drink, and she checked back with her several times. That guest is so appreciative of being treated that way. The icing on the cake was that she drove my wife and I home at 1:00 a.m. after she gathered all of the important things we needed to take with us. She is just the best.“

“This has become our new favorite Chinese restaurant! Prices may be a little higher than other restaurants around but the quality and the quantity of food are outstanding. Deff worth it! This is our second time ordering and we wanted to try something different. The Fiancé order beef Lo-mein, I order a MaLa Dry pot with chicken, baby corn, carrots, broccoli, cashews, pineapple, lo-mein and fried rice and sesame seeds. This was my first time ordering this plate, and let me tell you it was huge!! For $15 this plate can easily feed 4 people. I took some for me and my 6 year old and there’s still enough for 3 people. The picture was after dinner and does not include the rice that came with it. The chicken was tender, the broccoli was crispy and the pineapple was sweet. If you have never had fried pineapple and cashews rice you should definitely try it from China Cook. We also order cheese wontons and they were sweet and crunchy. Delicious! The spring rolls are freshly fried and have great flavor. The chicken and cheese roll was really good. We spent around $38 but the food is worth it. They have plenty of other items, like sushi and bento boxes. Order online and pick up in store is as easy as it sounds! Try them, you won’t regret it!“
