“The workers were really friendly especially when I was stuck on what to chose for my meal. The worker at the counter also referred to their name while greeting me in a nice tone. When I received my food it was warm and at the perfect temperature unlike most fast food chains that hands me soggy and sometimes cold food. Would recommend for people in the area or passing by!“

“Better than “Asad’s Hot Chicken” hands down baaabbbyyyyyy!!!!!!!! The sandwich is heavy when you pick it up too! The flavor is everything, and the coleslaw on the chicken sandwich is fire. Now I dnt even like but the one this place makes is great. Only thing I would say, is to use purple cabbage instead of green for a little variety of color in the sandwich, and to add a little more acidity into the coleslaw as well but you still get that acid from the huge pickles on the sandwich anyway. The fries are exceptionally seasoned, unlike Asad’s fries, which are plain. Their dipping sauce is really good it’s nice and sweet. Which pair is very well with the spiciness of the chicken and fries. The chicken is very moist. Just melts in your mouth lol. they use brioche buns for the chicken sandwiches, which are a very nice fluffy and flavorful bread. Everything about this fried chicken branch is above and beyond. I will be coming back again to try their honey hot wings!!! This place even have chicken tacos. I highly recommend this to anyone living in Philadelphia. Especially those Asad’s Hot Chicken lovers. Yall don’t know what y’all are missing!“

Went with my bestie and ordered the half chicken combo and some extra sides (street corn, yuca fries, maduros) and everything was so so amazing, including sauces which were out of this world. “You won’t find better food. Worth any amount of travel and the people are amazing. Very kind staff, the sauce is ACTUALLY GOOD! It’s not just a mix of mayo and ketchup or hot sauce. The heat scale is accurate and it’s very filling. The painting on the inside is really cool as well. Definitely check it out.“

“Love PDQ! Food is always fresh and some of the best fast food chicken I've ever had, tastes homemade. The sauces are delicious too. I haven't been disappointed with anything I tried from there. I really hope they stay around since the other locations in the area have closed. I prefer PDQ over any other fast food restaurants.“

“Very yummy and fresh. As you can see in the pic of the burger, I bit it already so you can see the lettuce, mayo, tomatoes and onion are crunchy fresh! Love their buns too they have a slight buttery texture to them, but you have to eat them while they’re still hot! Coleslaw is good too. Also I did get with my order of chicken tenders(5)a bowl of potatoes and gravy, and a biscuit, it was all very good food. Love that the mashed potatoes were not that nasty box stuff you get from other places, I can see a couple of micro potato skins in there so I know they made it from scratch! I would suggest however that if you hop by this place do remind them to get you some condiments and napkins. Very good food for the price.“

“Alhamdulillah the food was so good I ordered a spicy six piece with mashed potatoes instead of fries and it was delicious. The establishment was very clean and the guy behind the counter was very friendly. I will definitely be ordering again.“

“Ordered the cheese ddeok-boki and will be going back for more! Wowzers it hit the spot real good.. I have been craving this for a long time.. probably due to K-drama binge watching.. and went to a few spots nearby, even traversed to Philly. This was soo good. The ddeok was cooked perfectly! Soft and slightly gooey. The spice was just enough to break a sweat but not enough to stop and drink water the whole time to get rid of taste. Will have to try the chicken next time too but with the cheese ddeokboki for sure!“

“I love this place. The chicken here hits differently, lol. It's crispy on the outside, has flavor, and is juicy on the inside. The Mac and cheese here also slaps. I recommend that if you come here, you get: a couple of pieces of chicken, Mac and cheese, a piece of jalapeño cornbread, and grab one of the craft beers they have in the fridges. BTW they have a great selection of craft beer. The service is pretty good but when they're busy, you could end up waiting up to about 10 mins for your food. On the weekends, they're open late, so this is a great spot after a long night!“

“I came upon another "KKC" Fried Chicken establishment, this time inside of a Sunoco Gas Station in Southwest Philly. Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a quick serv fresh fried chicken franchise. I've found their chicken portions are way bigger with less breading than a Popeyes. Their chicken only comes in one flavor which has a little bit of spicy kick.The staff at the store was nice and quick to help me out. I've always gone with their tenders which have always been pretty fresh and tasty. The biscuits are decent and the wings they had out looked delicious. I'll have to give them a try next visit. They have an open air cooler for cold chicken meals to go. The manager told me that they sell well on EBT. The sides they offered looked decent, mac and cheese, jumbalaya (i've had before it's good) and mashed potato's (not as good as popeyes, but ok). The manager was in the store so he gave me a quick run down. They receive the chicken in fresh - white meat, dark meat so wings, breasts, thighs etc. and prepare it all in the back - from flour and seasoning to frying it and then putting it out in a warmer. Looked like a quick and efficient setup, kept clean by the staff. The gas prices at this Sunoco are always the lowest and the manager told me they have grubhub and Ubereats available. Not the best neighborhood, but the chicken was good!“

“Just so that you know it is a street cart and not a brick and mortar place. This kind of places remind me my old days when I used to work in one of this during my master in NJ. Food was ok and prices are always reasonable in such a cart. Chicken could have been more chopped and juicy. Overall it was a decent lunch.“

But it's worth it to park on the next block and walk up the street, please put something on the meter just to be on the safe side.“
