“Heard about this chicken spot through a family member and came here and ordered the 2 piece with the empanadas as they sell tons of stuff here a regular chicken shop don’t, loved my service and the food was great, definitely one of the best ones in Perth Amboy! “I recently opened an auto shop in forest ave, was really hungry my first day in the neighborhood, looked up places near me & Pollo Campero caught my eye from the get- go. I looked at their menu & rushed right to them. Inside was clean, staff were friendly and got to me fast with professionalism. When I first stepped inside it reminded me of breaking bad “pollos hermanos” ordered my food, took my first bite of the fried chicken & I’ve never tasted such flavorful friend chicken before. 10/10 loved it.“

“Visited tonight for a late-night craving and had a great experience. The staff was very warm and welcoming, even at a late hour.

I ordered the Chicken Karachi Naan and Chicken Seekh Kebabs—everything was excellent. I can confidently say these are some of the best chicken seekh kebabs in the Northeast. They were served hot, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with a great blend of spices. Honestly, you could easily enjoy two or three just with raita—no naan needed.

As big foodies who’ve tried just about every spot out there, this place really stands out. The atmosphere is clean and inviting, the staff is friendly, and even the restrooms are spotless.

If there were six stars, I’d give it without hesitation.“

“Got it DoorDashed today, never heard of it till now but I’m so happy I tried it. Even delivered the chicken was still super crispy!
The honeydew is my go to milk tea, got it here very good!
I got the mashed potatoes with gravy (it’s on the bottom) as a side, a bit thin but it paired well with the chicken. (The coleslaw was the only not good thing I tried. Too plain but I’m a bit picky about slaw if I’m honest.)
Anyways! Definitely going to be dragging all my friends here!!

Then I tried the grilled chicken nuggets. Not crazy about them, I should have opted for fried. Hardly any taste on the grilled nuggets. Live and learn. Next time back to regular nuggets.“

“BBQ Chicken in Edison is dangerously crispy in the best way. The chicken was so perfectly crunchy that a little flake fell off, I stepped on it, and it legit felt like stepping on a Lego. That’s how you know the fry game is serious. Juicy inside, shatter-crisp outside — I’d 100% come back.“

“Last time I had KFC in the states was 6 years ago, however it was over fried and literally trash. The chicken at the Plainfield KFC was perfect, the restaurant is remodeled and clean. I hope they keep up with the high quality; not like other KFC’s nowadays.“

“I remember when it first opened, this was had crazy long lines for even a year afterward. Crazy enough for police presence there to monitor the crowds.

On one of my filipino husband's birthdays, I decided to surprise him with the food of his people. I ordered ahead of time via door dash to order ahead of time with a 530pm pick up time... but the food was prepared an hour early (kinda annoyed that it could have been warmer), so it was more than ready when I arrived.

Their sweet spaghetti is what you'd expect for fast food as well as their loco moco style burger patties... but their chicken (joy) is actually pretty good, even for next day leftovers after a quick toasting. So yes, don't hesitate to go big for the giant family pack. cluck cluck nom nom.

Also don't forget their peach mango pies! Even crispier after a quick air fryer reheat. Husband was happy =)“
