“This is always, always my go to place for a great craft draft. In the midst of the Heineken and Sam Adams they have never disappointed to have a hidden gem of a beer available. Every few weeks they cycle through a different great beer. The service is super friendly and welcoming, and a chill dive atmosphere with the rest of the patrons is tye vibe here. Def get the tots!!!! Touchtunes available as well. Love having this place as my local dive.“

“Salt is hands down the best pre-theater dinner in New Brunswick. We totally enjoyed the fried calamari appetizer and 2 entree specials: a red snapper and a seared tuna. Highly recommended! Been there several times and already looking forward to going back.“

“I’ve been coming to Hook and Reel for some time and each time Kamala is our server she greets you with a smile, courtesy and great service. My friends and I are always happy to see her and hope that she’s our server. We always sit in the bar area because we know our experience will be a good one. Today myself and 3 of my friends came to eat and we were excited to see Kamala walk in the door. Kamala is definitely the definition of gracious, humble and attentive. As always exceptional service. “We were for a long time looking again for a good French restaurant, after the change of ownership at the chefs table in Franklin Lakes. Chez Catherine was excellent in every aspect. Food, ambiance and absolut outstanding service. We recommend it to everybody who appreciates French cuisine. The restaurant is small, may be 10 tables, but that's what we like. The menu is great, but only a number of options, which is a guarantee that the dishes are really prepared fresh. The waiter was way more than what you are used too, he knows all about the food, what wine goes with what, at the end I had a half ounce cognac (not cheap) but really a amazingly smooth and tasty. We are already thinking about when to go there next time, even though it's more than an hour drive for us, but absolutely worth it.“

We didn't even have a reservation, on a somewhat busy Friday night, but they were able to accommodate us for a last-minute table for two. One of the Managers, if not, the Manager, by the name of Charlotte, was extraordinarily delightful, courteous, friendly and very accommodating! And our server, Bailey, was every bit helpful, patient, sweet, attentive, and she was even kind enough to give us a couple of great recommendations off of their menu. “We recently visited Woodstock for a catered baby shower for a party of 65 people. They seated us in the upstairs lounge specifically for buyouts. The staff was very attentive, professional, and the food was very good for large -scale, family style catering. The pizza was genuinely remarkable. “Went on a Sunday afternoon to watch some NFL Playoff football. Bartenders were fast/friendly, drinks were cold/served perfect, and food was good. There are TV's everywhere, so there really isn't a bad seat. Great atmosphere, friendly crowd, with a sports bar look and feel. Plenty of parking and bathrooms are spotless. When in town again, we will definitely stop in.“

“Great selection of cocktails, wines, beers, etc! It's a small and cozy space with seating at the bar and smaller tables/barrels. There is a private room in the back that can be reserved as well. I tried the yuzu cocktail and it was light and refreshing. The margherita pizza was good as well. Service was quick and attentive. They also sell a limited selection of alcohol. “Burrata, rice balls, gnocchi, stuffed chicken over wild rice, veal chops with spinach and risotto. Apple crisp and berry pie. All of it was better than I thought it would be, all on point and delicious. No picks of the burrata it didn't last long enough. The quality was excellent, but I wish it came with some greens. I should have been coming here all this time.“

“33's Tavern has slammin’ tacos and great wings! I’ve had the fish tacos multiple times before and they never disappoint. Today was the first time we got wings and they were big and juicy! My husband got the steak tacos and they were also scrumptious! They are located right on Old Bridge Turnpike! (There is one wing missing that was consumed before I thought about sharing this gem!) 33’s is a bar, but you can totally go in and eat and/or grab takeout! The staff is amazing. It's what you want in a steakhouse. We had the meatball appetizer , lasagna, New York strip, filet mignon and we split the Wagyu steak. We got mashed potatoes, and broccoli. lol it was only the two of us - plenty of food - ooh and I got ricotta cheese cake for dessert.“

“We recently had a dinner after a memorial service for our mother at the Stage House Tavern. We were a group of 40 ranging in ages from 94 to 1 years old. Cynthia who was the event coordinator was terrific to work with as our numbers changed and we had some people with special dietary restrictions. She made sure we were in an area of this large restaurant where our family could talk and we were separate from others. The food was very good and the service for our large group was excellent. Cassandra was in charge of serving our large group and many of our family mentioned how they were amazed how she made sure that we had quick service and requests where quickly filled. “Second trip to Stage Left. Very much worth the drive from OH. The food was excellent. The gnocchi were silky soft and wonderful. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection, and the house made sauces were amazing. The service was beyond compare. Our server Joel was awesome, he took great care of everyone in our party (there were 4 of us). Max helped keep our table cleared and ready for the next course. Joel and Christian helped us plan out our meal and provided the best selection of wine to go with the meal. All the courses were excellent - cheeses, salad, pasta, steak, and dessert. The house made gelato is to die for. We are already planning our next visit for the summer when we can sit out on the patio.“

“I've been here a few times and really enjoy the live music! It can be a little loud sometimes, but it's ok! I chose the corned beef and cabbage- the portion is generous. I ate half of it for dinner and took the other half to go. I don't know much about corned beef and cabbage, but from what I'm told, having it sliced in this way is not a typical preparation. Nevertheless, I like it and it's tasty. I appreciate that I can have corned beef and cabbage here even if it's not St. Patty's!“

I had a Riesling glass of wine and the Avocado Spring Roll and the Shrimp Taco for a quick in and out move.I was impressed by the nice decor and ambiance. We were greeted by our server Abel he was fantastic! We all started with a flight of margaritas which were tasty but had no alcohol in them we even mentioned it to the server. He did not bring out extra tequila or anything. The flight cost us $30 each for juice, that is the reason I took 1 star off!! We all shared two orders of guac... really good. Most of us had the mixed fajitas, my other 2 friends had the enchiladas and the sirloin steak and shrimp on a stone. Our food was great, good flavor and portions. At the end, we all were given a shot of tequila, even that shot felt watered down! I would come back here for the food, they definitely need to work on their drinks! If they start to get the drinks right this place would be out of this world!“
