“My wife and myself were at Latin American Restaurant in Boonton, NJ. We are from out of town looking for home cooking, let me tell you, this was the most delicious food we've had since we've been here. The restaurant is clean and the owner stayed and talked to us for a long while. I had the steak smothered with onions, salad, white rice, black beans and maduros(sweet plantains). You get large portions, my wife took her left overs to the hotel for later. My wife is a very picky eater and she loved everything that was served. The staff was great and we felt very comfortable taking our time with our dinner. We surely will be back before we go home and will recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.“

“I was looking for a specific type of soup, called a lot of the Spanish restaurants no one made it. Found this restaurant and from the first phone call they are truly amazing. They were very attentive to what I wanted. Quick and efficient. Corn was mushy, shrimp was , potatoes were a little hard, eggs were missing most of the white because I guess they couldn't peel it and one egg was not hard boiled . Maduros were perfect. I highly recommend trying this place. It is on par with my favorite Dominican restaurants in Washington Heights.“

“Walked in and was greeted by very polite staff. Ordered the baked pernil and it was fantastic with plenty of meat to rice ratio (I am big on places having enough meat for my rice). The price was not bad at all for the amount of food I was given. Additionally I got a complimentary slice of flan even as a first timer. I would recommend this to any and all who are fans of Peruvian food or are looking to try something new. (I would like to note that they have a variety of options so if you’re with someone who’s more on the picky side and wants something basic they have options to cover that)“
