“My 1st/2nd stop when I'm "back east" / "back home" depending on the time of day. You can't get bagels like this in the deep south, or most anywhere in the US outside the NE. If you haven't had a NY bagel, they're unbelievable. Soft inside with almost chewy outside, absolutely delicious with butter, or as a sandwich. Don't buy too many. The real price of eating old-world bakery fresh breads is: they don't last. They might be somewhat edible the next day, but they're like doughnuts that way: a 1-day life expectancy.“

“Boy, are we glad we added this special stop to our road trip from the Boston, MA area because they sell gluten-free bagels... and they're delicious...plain or with everything (poppy, sesame, garlic etc.) They even have packaged gluten-free snack items! I bought a gluten-free brownie that was heavenly!! Karim couldn't have been nicer. When we come back to the area we will definitely stop here again! ;-) Thanks Karim!!“

“If there were more stars, I'd give them. We are from out of state (formerly from Waldwick) and needed to send a brunch catering to a dear family. Bagel Supreme was professional, sweet, considerate and kind. I called on a Sunday afternoon at 1 PM (about an hour before the store closed) and the owner had his wife call "within the hour." She did and spent time with me on the phone getting the right order to fit my request for the family. Then sent multiple texts to confirm everything throughout the evening. Talk about going ABOVE AND BEYOND! They delivered PROMPTLY as promised the next day and they sent us pictures of the platters to ensure that we saw what was delivered. Greeting cards to mark the occasion with our thoughts HAND WRITTEN were attached. The store would NOT take money until the order was delivered even though I offered to pay in advance. I will absolutely use them in the future for long distance gift giving (who doesn't like food as a gift)? And this will be our very first stop when we are back in town. 1,000% recommend!!!“

“Absolutely the best bagel there is. Each one no matter the flavor is a delight. And their food that they put on the bagel is delicious. Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

“There really isn’t much more to be said about this place. Having tried pretty much every whole wheat and multigrain bagel within a 15-mile radius, no one does it better.

The bagels are always fresh, but what really stands out is the service. I usually call ahead and ask if they have any whole wheat bagels left, and they are always kind enough to put some aside for me. One time, I picked up my order right before they were closing, and when I got home, I noticed they had thrown in an extra bagel. For them, it might have just been an extra bagel at the end of the day since they make everything fresh daily, but for a customer, that kind of service really means something.

It’s the little things like that that keep people coming back. I don’t get to visit as often as I’d like because it’s a bit far from my house, but honestly, if you want the best whole wheat or multigrain bagels, I’m not kidding—no one does it better. The service, the bagels, everything about this place is just great.“

I called 5 Brothers from Wisconsin (not knowing anything about delis or restaurants in Lincoln Park, New Jersey—just going by google search) to order a couple trays of food for a memorial service in Lincoln Park which I could not attend. I am so happy my Google search led me to such a professional and helpful business. The two brothers I worked with listened to my situation and understood what I was hoping to provide food-wise, and then they suggested a mixed tray of baked goods and desserts that were perfect. They even sent me photos and a video of the finished trays of goodies after they put them together. And then they delivered. Amazing. Top-notch customer service. “Zeid and his team were great. Everything was made fresh and quick. The store is very clean. The egg bagel with cream cheese was perfect and the right amount of CC. I got a SBEC and it was delicious full of flavor. The portion def filled me up. The daisy muffins were ok. They were a little too greasy to my liking. But all in all would def come back“

“We moved to Tennessee 8 years ago & long for good bagels which are hard to come by where we live. We found Howard’s Bagels while visiting for the birth of our second granddaughter. We explained, we were looking to take some good bagels back with us. The young lady(sorry I never asked your name) was so nice & accommodated us with a free sample of a pumpernickel bagel. We were over the moon & found heaven in a bagel! Fresh, tasty, delicious New Jersey bagels! We ordered 2 dozen to take home to Tennessee, which by the way you actually get 15 bagels for a dozen(must be some kind of new math, lol). Guessing the online bagels we’ve been getting will be on hold for quite a while, these bagel are worth the side trip if you are ever within 20 miles(for us 600 miles), do yourself a favor get some & the crumb cake they have is also delicious! Though not high end dining, this restaurant checks the boxes. Food is excellent. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is not fair to rate the atmosphere on the same plane as the other two. It’s not fancy but quite functional. Especially since it’s usually utilized as a take out place. Most of the time, I’m passing through. I phone in my order and pick it up shortly after.
