Fred doesn't hold back with the largely disregarded genre of metal music when he books groups, though he books plenty of other varieties as well. This location has been in operation for several years and underwent a rebranding approximately 4 or 5 years ago. It is known for being a family and pet-friendly environment, as it is named after the owners' dogs. Everyone is welcome at this establishment.

It is important to address that the events that occurred during the Puerto Rican festival did not take place at our location. While our establishment is typically a safe and welcoming place, unfortunately, there are instances where individuals do not behave appropriately. It is disturbing to learn that a grown man behaved inappropriately towards a child, as we do not tolerate any form of sexual assault.

It is worth noting that we have not had any incidents of sexual assault against women at our establishment. Such behavior is strictly prohibited. The incident involving an individual who fled from the location serves as a reminder of the importance of communities uniting against predators.

Those familiar with the television show "Cheers" may find similarities in our establishment, as it is a place where regular patrons are known by name. Newcomers often have a positive experience and frequently return. If you find yourself in East Harlem, we invite you to visit Teddy's F&B, affectionately known as the "hood cheers." “Bob's is a bit of a legend in my friend group. It's a proper neighborhood bar. Good tap selection, standard liquor options, dim lighting, cozy seating, sports on the projector... It fits the bill of the "third place" that is often hard to find elsewhere in the neighborhood.
Bob's is just far enough away from Columbia that it doesn't get slammed with undergrad students. Patrons tend to be locals and older Columbia graduate students or veterans.
