“First time I had Indian food was a few years ago in NC, and I was NOT impressed. We were up visiting my sister in Ridgewood and we went out for fathers day dinner at Tabla. We ordered a bunch of different appetizers and entrees and we shared them all. I was absolutely impressed. I totally enjoyed EVERY item. I especially liked the curry fish with coconut milk. The service was exceptional and very friendly, it was an entirely enjoyable experience. I heartily recommend this Indian Restaurant in Ridgewood, NJ.”

Everything was wonderful and fresh, could be better with some minor tweaks. The clams should be served with some bread to soak up that delicious sauce. The prawns would have been much better if it was left whole with shell and head on, it was slightly over cooked. All in all, a fantastic meal!!”

“I had an amazing experience at Masago Sushi in Ridgewood, NJ. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The prices are also such a big factor since its so low for such big portions. But what really stood out, was the service. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick without ever feeling rushed. They made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. I would like to acknowledge the service of Ashley. She was so nice and really made us know that we didn’t make a mistake going here.

The atmosphere is also a big plus! Warm, clean, and relaxing, with a modern touch that makes it perfect for a casual lunch or a nice dinner out. You can tell they put care into creating an inviting dining environment.

“What can I say???? Simply put “Amazing Yummy”!!! I came with my husband for the first time and we left super impressed. While the restaurant is small it is absolutely devine! The food is so good. We had the Mozzarella and Shrimp for appetizers both really good. The best part and what I always look for is freshness and food that is seasoned and this Chef delivered. My husband’s steak was delicious as well- it is not often that my husband says “uhmm so delicious “ when eating. He cooks and tends to be very hard to please, therefore; compliments to che chef!!!

We had been looking for our next regular place since moving to town and we just found it. We will be back very soon.

“We ordered TOM XAO CARI XA OT CAY which is stir fried curry and lemongrass, HU TIEU XAO CARI CAY which is rice noodle w/curry chicken and Pho Do Bien which is rice noodle seafood soup.
My take was a little different than my husbands, so I’ll give you both. The price were very reasonable, albeit the portions were more like lunch size, but for me it was enough.

The dishes had a decent amount of noodles but could have used a bit more protein and vegetables. I thought the curry dishes had a nice sweet curry flavor but I didn’t taste any spice in either dish nor did I get a taste of citrus from the lemongrass. I still enjoyed it and would
go back again and try some other dishes.

My husband on the other hand had a different experience. He said the soup was good but felt the curry dishes were very bland and lacked flavor especially salt and spice. I am not sure he will be going back with me. 😂

Overall I recommend you check it out for yourself. The jury is still out for us, but I would try it again.”

I had a Valentine’s event on feb15th which needed to be rescheduled to the 22nd and I canceled the order last minute for 30 boxes of chocolate covered strawberries. “I just had the best experience at this Starbucks! So, I by accident order my latte from the Ridgewood location, while at a different Starbucks 🤣🤣🤣. Decided that I will try to get it later if it’s still there. I got to Ridgewood Starbucks at least an hour later, at which point my drink wasn’t there, which is understandable and I wouldn’t even complain. However, I still asked, out of curiosity, what is done with the drinks which are not picked up on time, and the wonderful barista said “Katerina? We disposed of it because it was cold” and made me a new drink at no cost. He even remembered my original order. This was amazing! Super service! Thank you!”

When I asked for 2% milk, he said “sure,” but when we got our drink there was no milk in it at all—and then we found out they don’t even serve 2%. If that’s the case, just say that.

Prepared from scratch, not quick, but with a touch of love. This tiny establishment has the standard fare and some twists on the originals that will make your taste buds dance. Pork dumplings become Mom's Dumplings with the insertion of a giant shrimp and an amazing homemade dipping sauce. Mangos are often added to many dishes for a change of flavor. Not spicy enough, ask Sherry to give it a boost, or the opposite, tamp it down a bit. Have you ever had lamb Chinese style? or one of many other specialties. The place has gotten a bad wrap from impatient patrons. Good food takes time to prepare, and fresh ingredients are not cheap. When we have company from out of the area, this is their requested restaurant. We have ordered food for one up to a catered meal for 100, always delish.”

There was no line and I quickly received my to-go order. The ham, egg, and cheese croissant was delicious- fluffy and flaky, not at all greasy, and the perfect cheese pull. Can't wait to return to try desserts and coffee!”

“I am surprised by some of the lower ratings on Google, as Tatte (Ridgewood) was amazing! Quick service, good food, and the coffee was delicious. I got both an iced mocha and hot pistachio latte, both were rich and tasty, and not too sweet. I also got the salmon, avocado, and egg sandwhich, which was fresh and yummy, and the sausage sandwhich, which had a delicious and unique spice profile. 10/10, will definitely be making this a regular stop for coffee and breakfast/brunch.”

“The coffee is just mediocre—nothing to write home about. It’s fine, but definitely not something I’d go out of my way for.
The woman making the food was so sweet, and the barista was also very kind, which made the experience better. Unfortunately, the man taking the order could definitely use some work on customer service. He seemed completely uninterested in being there. When I asked for 2% milk, he said “sure,” but when we got our drink there was no milk in it at all—and then we found out they don’t even serve 2%. If that’s the case, just say that.
Overall, the service inconsistency really took away from the experience.”
