“Each year for Thanksgiving we gift Maddalena's Apple Crumble Pie to our clients - everyone loves them and looks forward to them! We always encourage folks to pick up the lobster mac or the lumberjack chili when stopping by the store - their savory dishes are amazing as well!”

“This place is a hidden gem . We were there the other night with 5 people and everyone loved the food they ordered. We have been there a couple of times since it changed ownership and it’s great. It seems to be empty except on the weekends and I have no idea why. Maybe because it’s a few miles out of town. It’s more than worth the drive in my opinion !”

“Loved the festive lights and decorations in this old school diner! Great food and service! Will be making this a holiday tradition!!”
“I stop here for the Cajun fried chicken every time I am in town! It is really quite good chicken, and if you order ahead it’s typically ready by the time you request. I highly recommend getting the fried chicken. Otherwise, it’s a good spot to stop for connivence store/deli foods and the staff get the job done.”

“Everything, EVERYTHING they make is so wonderful. The salads are creative, use lots of seasonal ingredients. The pasta is wonderful. Gnocchi Vodka...OMG. The meatball, braised short ribs, sausage is truly special. We seldom go out but when we go there, the atmosphere and service are great. We mostly order to pickup. Never had a problem. Well worth the extra bucks compared to other Italian restaurants nearby. Go there or order pickup! No disappointment!”

“Amazing. There is options for everyone the flavors are insane. You can choose between an item based menu a set menu or omakase and all of them are worth it, everything tastes so fresh. Staff is super nice and can accommodate your requests. Price is a bit steep but it’s fair for the quality of the products. Like let me tell you I think this is the best quality of fish in central New Jersey at least. Unfortunately it is a BYOB but they can accommodate. Big fan will be coming back!”

“My children love this place. go check it out.”
“My friends and I love this place. Very good ambiance and wine is great, too. I do wish they had a larger variety of red wine. The prices for the reds are a little too steep. If I was their management I would either lower the prices on the reds or add another one or two good reds with a lower price sticker. As someone who goes to wineries and enjoys wine, I know that 44 and 46 dollars for a bottle of wine, even if at a winery, is too steep.”

“CHIVES IS BACK! Thanks to Chef Mateo and his wife for reopening Chives and returning it's glory serving great food with a smile. The old menu under Chef Ryan is very familiar with some great new additions. Food, service and the original atmosphere are excellent. Portions and quality are excellent with fair to low prices. Chef Mateo added dinner to the menu which they serve on Friday and Saturday. I had the carnitas bowl....fantastic”

“This place catered one of our company's Xmas partys and it was absolutely delicious! So much so, that I ordered several dishes Saturday for the weekend. When I picked up the food they offered me a bottle of wine, and wished me a merry xmas! (How nice was that??) I got an order of Nonna's meatballs (I'm sure there's an Italian Grandma in that kitchen stirring a big pot of homemade meatballs in marinara. No lie.) Broccali Rabe w/sausage (fantastic), garlic loaf with cheese (try adding a meatball on a slice, with that incredible sauce-🤯), a ginormous burger (tonight's dinner, but I know it'll be great) and the star of the show... the Eggplant Rollatini. (Just WOW!) Several huge slices of eggplant, crammed full of ricotta, rolled up in a pasta blanket to keep it all tucked in, swimming in a sea of incredible marinara and penne, coated with globs of melty mozzarella. [THIS dish alone should have you heading out the door immediately, to get you some!😉] I don't know HOW they can give such big portions of incredible, high quality foods for much less they you'd expect to pay, and not only stay in business, but also give away cases upon cases of free wine to their customers. My eggplant was only $23. (I swear it alone weighed 5lbs.) So far Ive gotten 3 meals out of that 1 dish and there's STILL 2 servings left. You're not finding a better value on delicious homemade food, and will not be disappointed!”

“I love this place! The food is fresh and delicious, and absolutely perfect for a salad and fish lover like me. You can select a bowl with a zucchini noodle base or a rice base, and build from there. The choices are amazing, as is the final result. Highly recommend ❣️”
“Taqueria La Hacienda absolutely blew me away. This is hands-down the most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had, and I don’t say that lightly. Every bite tasted fresh, homemade, and full of real flavor—not watered down, not overdone, just perfectly executed. From the moment you sit down, they bring out warm nachos with a homemade salsa that is bottom-of-the-bowl good—the kind you keep scooping until there’s nothing left and you’re tempted to ask for more.
The restaurant itself is spotless, which instantly sets the tone, and the service is just as impressive. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. Even the details stand out here—Coke comes in classic glass bottles, and somehow it just tastes better and pairs perfectly with the food.
This place is a true hidden gem and an absolute must-eat. If you’re even remotely craving authentic Mexican cuisine, you cannot miss Taqueria La Hacienda. Trust me—you’ll be thinking about it long after the plates are cleared. 🌮🔥”

“Unionville Vineyards is an exceptional winery providing an expansive range of experiences that cater to a broad audience. As long-standing wine club members and neighbors of Unionville, my husband and I typically stop by for a glass of wine every week. We often meet up with other neighbors who are also weekly visitors. The staff is always aware of our individual preferences in wine varieties and shows a genuine interest in our time in the tasting room. Whether you are greeted by John, Terese, Bianca, Andy, Sage, or another tasting room member, the environment that Unionville has created to enable these intimate gatherings resonates a small town feeling and neighborhood camaraderie that is rare these days and truly consistent with the long-standing culture and traditions of the Ringoes community.
Over the years, we have also had the opportunity to invite friends and colleagues unfamiliar with Unionville to the winery for guided tastings. The experience that the tasting room staff has provided for our guests in combination with the exceptional quality of the wines available have always exceeded their expectations. In fact, all of our invited guests over the years have become long-term customers of Unionville. Moreover, my husband has gifted wines to colleagues throughout the United States and Asia, and he has always received phenomenal feedback on the wines and requests for more bottles!
We have also enjoyed the more formal side of Unionville through their public and private events. We have attended many catered brunches, lobster bakes, oyster fests, dinners, and wine releases over the years. The exceptional combination of live music, delicious food, and remarkable wines produced by Unionville at these events is unmatched. Moreover, Unionville Vineyards has deep historical ties to the American Revolution, and their efforts to weave this truly unique history into their wine collection is commendable.
Finally, as a farm owner, it is extremely important to my family to purchase locally grown products when possible. Unionville is one of the only wineries in New Jersey that produces all of its wines from New Jersey grown grapes, which is truly exceptional given the sheer quantity of wines that they produce each year. I have seen firsthand (from our neighboring farm) the countless hours that the vineyard staff spend in the fields, tirelessly working to ensure that they achieve the best wine production in the Garden State. If you are looking for New Jersey grown wines that are produced with the utmost care and dedication (and arguably the best tasting as well!), I highly recommend Unionville Vineyards without hesitation.”
