“Love, Love, Love Magpie Bakery! Should have posted this a couple of weeks ago to let everyone know what an absolutely beautiful job they did with the delicious Woodland Creatures 1/2 sheet cake for my daughter’s baby shower! Wow! It was so moist and tasty, received so many compliments from the ladies. And you know we ladies love our cakes! The decorator created an over-the-top adorable woodland creatures design. Even the gluten free cupcakes were tasty and gorgeous. Kudos to the entire staff and owner. Everyone was so helpful and lovely. Would highly recommend this bakery when you want the best! Thank you to everyone there.“

“The best Persian sweets ever!!! Faranak Joon is the owner and she created the most beautiful Sofreh Haftseen for my wedding. She made sure everything was perfect, she showed up extra early and she is not the type of person to cancel even if an emergency comes up on your wedding day. She’s very reliable, understanding, kind, detail oriented, and amazing at what she does. I highly recommend her for all brides who want to have the most elegant sofreh haft seen you will ever see!!!“

“My son was recently diagnosed with EOE and is dairy, nut and egg free. Someone recommended AltEats so I contacted Laurie and she worked her magic! My son was able to enjoy an amazingly delicious birthday cake for the first time! She also created the most delicious cannoli filled cake for my guests! I can’t say enough about how easy Laurie was to work with and how lucky I feel blessed I feel to have found this establishment!“

“The best spot after a winter hike in Harriman. Got a fresh baked banana cream pie for the family and a black and white cookie. Such a wonderful assortment of items and staff was very friendly. My favorite was saying hi to the gentle giant Goliath who is the sweetest doggo. Will definitely be back!“

“Tried Half Baked for the first time last weekend. Friendly staff and AMAZING cookies! Much better and BIGGER than “you know who”. My Daughter absolutely loved every one we tried. “Sweet spot in Ridgewood with great pastries, treats and coffees. They have a ton of homemade coffee syrups and fun drinks. I got an iced mocha and it was very good. The decor inside is very fun, I especially dig the parrot chandelier. Definitely worth stopping in while you're in Ridgewood.“

“I drive past hot bagel every day for the past couple of years and never knew it was there. Stopped in on Tuesday, got an everything bagel with olive cream cheese, and by far the best bagel I’ve ever had. Today I stopped and got a ham, egg and cheese, and again best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. You now have a very happy new customer.“

“My kiddos love all the dessert options here but the mochi donuts are their favorite while us adults are convinced they make the best almond croissants and stuffed croissants ever! The Nutella offerings have been delicious too! The king donuts are superior to any Boston crepe I’ve ever tried! So many options. We only go for desserts but I know they offer sandwiches too! Just a place worth walking to especially if you’re already in town and paid for parking in the vicinity. Enjoy the options cuz there’s just so many to choose from! We go back often, it never ever disappoints! We even bought the cappuccino cake for a special birthday because we loved how it looked and it tasted just as great!!!“

“Ordered a cake, mini cupcakes, and cake truffles for a Bridgerton-themed birthday party and they came out INCREDIBLE. Even better than what I had envisioned! I picked different flavors for each so I can say you definitely cannot go wrong with any flavor, as they all came out perfectly moist and delicious. “Taking off one star because they don’t post their prices you have to go online to see how much things cost. Good local deli. Staff are nice, food is comparable to other NJ delis. Price are a bit higher, but reasonable for northern NJ. There are all of the deli breakfast and lunch type sandwiches, snacks and drinks. In a strip mall so convenient for after Kid classes in an adjacent business.“

“Tried the USR location this morning as it's located around the corner from my office. Front staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful with assisting me to navigate options as a first time visitor. There was no line and I quickly received my to-go order. The ham, egg, and cheese croissant was delicious- fluffy and flaky, not at all greasy, and the perfect cheese pull. Can't wait to return to try desserts and coffee!“
