“Delicious German food menu for lunch!“

“Cupsaw Market has amazing food! My family especially loves their breakfast sandwiches and burgers & fries. We believe their Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese sandwich is the best in the area. Above all, we love the family that runs the Market and very much appreciate the community environment they create, embrace, and allow.“

“So I have driven by this place for way too long without ever stopping in or looking into it further. So tonight we're going to friends house to have a group Christmas cookie bake. And I said You know what why don't we try bringing Polish food, as my wife is Polish and she considered trying to make pierogi as part of the Christmas cookie bake.

So I ordered four dozen pierogi of different flavors, kielbasa and onions, and stuffed cabbage. I went over to pick everything up this morning and I walked in and it was like a Polish heaven. Imagine a deli, many grocery store, and bakery all combined. They had my order ready they brought it out and the customers had to help me understand what they were talking about because they were all talking and Polish!! So you can't get any more authentic than that.

Upon coming home I was getting things ready, and figured before I brought it to my friend's house I just had to try a few things, which meant try one of everything. Well the kielbasa is probably some of the best kielbasa I've ever had in my entire life. The blueberry pierogi was a new experience and was absolutely delicious... The other pierogies were amazing, and the stuffed cabbage was absolutely delicious.

If you go into the listing on Google and just scroll down you'll see the menu in both Polish and English. Portion sizes are huge, their daily specials look absolutely amazing.

Since ordering from there earlier in the week I was mentioning it to a few people and two other people said that they have been going there for years and the food is amazing.

So don't be like me that drives past it forever before trying it. Go there order lots, and enjoy some fantastic Polish food!!“

“I grew up in the area and knew Otto when I was a child. I later knew his son Elmud. This is an old style deli where they used to slice cold cuts to order. Their Peppy Potatoe salad and coleslaw is the best on planet earth. There always used to be a big jar of jawbreakers and fireballs at the cash register. The smell of the pickle barrel and deli meats was classic and so good’“

“So good! We have been in construction for the last 9 months. All of which was supposed to take 4 month. We haven't been able to cook and Moms Kitchen has been our go to for quite a few nights. Gave us our home cooked meals when we couldn't handle fast food or take out. We can recommend enough and will for sure be our staple for future dinners.“

“I grew up in Waldwick so I may be biased but as an Italian American I love this place. I recently moved away from Bergen County and didn't realize how good I had it. From the quality of the ingredients, freshness, value for your money there is no better Italian deli in my opinion. Their sandwiches are so good, the cold sides and salads are also very good. It's great for lunch or catering. I also love the assortment of prepared foods/soups and other products available. I for sure make it a point to stop in whenever I'm in town. 10/10 would recommend!“

“Working at a house in the area and this place was 8 minutes from the jobsite. It's a bit expensive but saves you from running down the mountain so you're paying for convenience. Tried the taylor ham, egg and cheese. It was prepared well and the roll was super soft. Was it New Jerseys best? Definitely not, but overall it was decent. Co-worker got a sandwich off the board, believe it was the Susie. Once again, not blowing your socks off, but still decent. Definitely at the top end of deli pricing but an ok spot to grab a bite. Service was slow but we didn't call in and it seemed like they were a bit busy. Staff was polite.“

“This is such a great place. The food is wonderful the atmosphere is great and service is out of this world. I would recommend if your sick or just a soup lover to get their chicken and rice soup. Its thick and hearty with shredded chicken. The fresh mozzarella is like 10 dollars for this small ball but worth it. They make great spaghetti sauce and have wonderful sandwiches too but I'm cutting back on bread so I can't say I've had them that much“

“Just had my son’s graduation party catered by La Strada. My guests raved about the food. My cousins and I are bonafide foodies, and we all agreed the food was outstanding. “Nestled in a small strip mall next to the Mahwah train station, this deli is charming, the owner and staff are friendly (it’s family run), and the food is really good. I have been here three times in the past two weeks, and I have been very satisfied each time. I do plan on becoming a regular customer. There are daily soups and specials, the latter of which can be purchased as a single serving or family style (feeds 4-5 people). Each day of the week has its own special item, but the specials remain the same for each day from one week to the next. We recently had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken with Tortellini Alfredo daily special, family style. It was just for the two of us, but we got two entire meals out of it (four individual servings). It was delicious. They have an interesting and eclectic mix of menu items, including empanadas, chicken wings, gyros, taquitos, antipasto, stuffed peppers, sliders (burger, chicken, and pulled pork), meatballs, heroes, soups, salads, and desserts. While they do serve heroes, this does not appear to be the kind of deli where you go for, say, a typical roast beef or tuna fish sandwich with a side of regular potato salad. In the deli case, though, I did notice items like white meat chicken salad, country Coleslaw, green beans oreganata, pasta primavera, cucumber salad, salmon cakes, and stuffed filet of sole. There is a small selection of packaged items (potato chips, pasta), jarred items (pickles, olives, peppers, marinated mushrooms, and condiments), candy, and snacks. There are two refrigerators filled with “Grab ‘n Go” items. They also have a catering menu. For those who may want to stay and eat, there is a small countertop area with seats for four people. There is also a bench at the front window where you can sit and wait for your order to be prepared. You can join their VIP mobile club and receive a discount and daily text messages with a photo of the day’s special and pricing. There is parking directly in front of the store as well as at a right angle in front of the train station. (Those who ride the commuter train usually park on the other side of tracks in a designated parking lot.) If you live in the area, this place is definitely worth a try. “Stopped in for lunch on our way to Adirondacks and felt immediately welcomed (even though we arrived 20 min before closing). My husband had a western egg sandwich and the homemade corned beef hash, which was exceptional. I had a tuna sandwich and while it’s hard to get excited about tuna fish, it was a perfect sandwich. This is the type of neighborhood place that every town had at one point - a place where people met to eat, share the news of the day, connect - and of which there are too few today. A real gem.“

“This place never disappoints. Great soups and authentic Italian Wedding. I ordered a specialty cake for a rehearsal dinner and wanted a vintage look. They did a great job. I showed Estella, the main baker a picture of what I wanted and she followed it to a T. It was half the price of what some of these Instagram bakers ask for. I will definitely order a cake again from here.“

It’s a bit disorganized/hectic when ordering inside - people who already ordered are either usually in the way of the register or standing on the side. Not the biggest issue, but something that could be improved upon if a waiting area or designated pickup area were established.
