“If you're looking for the best Koobideh kebab in New Jersey and New York, Zaffron Bloom is the place to go. Every time I visit, I'm amazed by the deliciousness of the food, especially their Tahdig. The Olivieh salad and Spanish yogurt are also quite tasty. Since it's a family-run business, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. I love this place and highly recommend their kebabs!??“

“I visited New York for 6 days from the state of Texas and ended up having two meals at this location because the food was just that good. In a city where you have to be the best to survive, we chose to eat here for two meals! The flavors and consistency of quality and service were great. Can't say enough good things about this place! “Me and my family decide to have a late lunch here after seeing the advertisement and reviews on instagram. We loved the food! The atmosphere and service was amazing. Finally, we have a Mediterranean place close to home. You have to come try this place and by the way they have an outdoor in the back where you can have hookah for those who are interested.“

“Alkumah is an awesome hidden gem! The sandwiches are absolutely incredible, fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. I highly recommend the Kuftha sandwich spicy which is perfectly seasoned with just the right kick. Great spot for a quick bite or casual meal.“

Mazador Kebab really impressed me! The kebabs were soft, juicy, and full of flavor. The rice and soup were delicious too. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean — even the restroom! Prices were reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended!“

“I just found this gem in Harlem and let me say I am thoroughly impressed. First, the Yemeni tea is extremely good. No need to add anything. Secondly, the amount of food that you get for money is a great deal. I had #21 Aqdat Dajaj (Curry Chicken) w/Basmati Rice and a side of Naan bread (it was huge). You also receive soup and a mini salad before the actual entree. I left there stuffed and satisfied. The space is very quaint and somewhat intimate. It’s a must try!! And it’s Halal!!!
Vegetarian options: There are about 13 vegetarian dishes to choose from.“

“Delicious and fresh food! Got the Mazzah platter and got to sample many incredible dishes! The eggplant and falafel were my favorites! Got the lamb special too and WOW, it did not disappoint!! I think the owner served us! He was so kind and patient with us as we made our choices! Even gave us some baklava which was INCREDIBLE?!!!! I will be dreaming of it!! Can’t wait to come back! I highly recommend the Moli and Dani shawarma. the brisket for Shabbat is Divine. “Goes this place doesn't have a higher rating on Google is beyond me. The falefal is a 5 o ut of 5 The rice is the best I've ever had. It's both soft and creamy almost! I'm having the lamb shish kaboblan special. It is juicy and not chewy. Nothing is ever over salted here or overcooked the many times that I've been here. I even drive here for lunch 20 minutes away, even though there's Middle Eastern places a few minutes away from my job. The beef liver is great. Here the baba ganoush and hummus are tasty. Not oily. Very good lentil soup. It really tastes homemade!“
