“Great caterer !!!! Deserves 10 stars! Fabulous four foot Charcuterie Board that served over 30 people. Salmon -Chicken- Shrimp and Cold Cuts with vegetables, cheeses, fruits and cheeses. Professional servers are top rated. Great to work with from the start of planning to day of. They did a Summer non alcoholic drink bar and an iced tea and iced coffee bar. Tasty ice cream chipwiches to top off a great party catered by La Promenade. Would recommend for your next party! They provided the desserts for multiple different events (retirement party, bachelorette party, bridal shower) and knocked it out of the park each time. “A hidden gem on 46! So unexpected as it’s a great cookie focused bakery on the highway. Great cookies but the Ruggies are like my grandmother made and that woman could bake some rugelach! Great pecan sandies too. Gotta try more varieties next time! And a super nice owner and staff.“

“In 2024, the Monsey area is filled with catering establishments, take-out store, and bakeries, and yet Glaubers, which has been here forever, is still the best. They have catered kiddushin and a wedding for us and we were always greatly satisfied. When you go to the store you will find fresh and delicious food, and the people serving you are even more delicious! If you haven't been to Glaubers yet, go tomorrow.“

“What a wonderful place! My family and I often have breakfast/brunch at Guzzo’s and we are always pleasantly satisfied with the food and service. The staff is amazing and provide you with a warm welcome. We just celebrated my daughter’s 10th birthday here with her friends. I booked the tea party package that Guzzo’s has and it was such a great experience. The girls couldn’t stop talking about how much fun they had & how tasty everything was. They have many treats and I saw some gorgeously decorated chocolate strawberries and I thought the price was amazing for the presentation. I think a dozen strawberries were $36 which is a bargain compared to other places who make subpar looking strawberries . I would have loved to receive them as a gift myself !

“Everything was absolutely perfect, from the service to the deliciousness of the food (Chilean sea bass was outstanding, the lamb chops special was superb and the grilled octupus was perfectly tender). The only mention I have and it's seriously not a big deal was the dining room that we were seated in was a bit too dark I actually had to turn my flashlight on my phone to see. On a scale of 1-10 I give it an 11 !!“

“This place is just amazing! There were 5 of us and we all ordered something different. Everything we got was delicious- we all tried each other's dishes. There's a little bit of everything to satisfy even the pickiest eater. I would just drive her (over a 2 hour drive for me) just to come eat here. I need this place closer to home, lol.“

“As charming as the bakery is, it pales in comparison to Miss Eleanor, the owner. Over the past several years I developed a sensitivity to wheat, so I wanted a gluten-free snack. She had a wide selection of sweets (cupcakes, cookies, brownies) but I saw the picture of biscuits and quickly decided to enjoy them with my coffee.

I took Ms Eleanor up on her offer to warm them up and chatted while waiting for my order to be complete. We had a lovely conversation about so many things - food, travel, career changes.

The biscuits were delicious and very reasonably priced so I’ll have to make my way back soon.

Im glad I did ,I have to say my goddaughter sweet 16 turned out so beautiful it was more then we expected we sent her a picture and she matched it to the tee, and it tasted amazing. And let me not forget to mention their very reasonable in their prices They will definitely get my business again.“

“I have been going to the official cake lady now for 10-11 years and about 3-4 times in a year. Kim never ever disappoints. She makes our vision come to life. The cake is so good we drive over an hour to pick it. Kim is always professional and listens to every detail needed for the cake.
The cakes are always moist and delicious . We will continue to drive to get our cakes.

“Hmmm I'm not sure about the hype on this place. The service is slow (maybe to create a line outside?) and everything was pretty expensive. I got a few donuts and a baguette and it was good but not really anything amazing. Not sure if I would wait in line again for this place when there are so many bakeries in the area.“

My boyfriend is obsessed with the chocolate croissants. I believe all of them are under $4 which is pretty good considering how large they are. “When in NYC, Take the 1 train to VanCortland Park and walk to Lloyds for the best Carrot Cake. Moist, fresh & still delicious.

Parking: If you get to VanCortland early, you should find parking. It is not readily available. You will get a ticket. Lloyd’s was the go to for cakes, when I lived in the Bronx. Lloyds has a variety of cakes and they do sell slices.“

“First time trying Joe’s pie and WOW! The pumpkin praline pie was amazingly delicious, the best combo of pumpkin and pecan that we have ever had in a pie! We would love to return and try another flavor in the near future. The shop has really cute bird-themed decorations and display cases selling some interesting costume jewelry too.“
