“Pineapple Raisin Tamale is understated! Get Pineapple Raisin Tamale if it is offered. Get two! Get Three! It's pretty awesome and I am kicking myself for getting just one and having to share! Relative to the tacos I think these tamales may not get as much publicity but they are unique and fantastic! Of course the tacos are great as well. Of the two taco versions, Lamb and Pork, the Pork was my favorite. The lamb was slightly dry and maybe needed a little spice for my taste. If you have to get them to go because of lack of seating, don't wait too long to eat! If only their standard hours of business were better I'd be there more often.“

“Everything has been delicious. I can only make it for breakfast or dinner during the week. Unfortunately they're only open for dinner on Sundays, so breakfast is my only choice and breakfast burrito my go to. I hope they're a permanent fixture in the neighborhood for years to come“

“I'm a native Texan and I am in HEAVEN. I just moved in down the street and this place is AMAZING. El Caracol serves up authentic dishes that are incredible and oh man I'm gonna eat so much. My husband ordered the camerones a la diabla (deviled shrimp) and they are gloriously garlicy. Add the orange sauce for extra spicy. I ordered the burrito mojado (wet burrito) with carnitas (it's the most delicious braised pork) and I could not stop eating it. The green salsa on the burrito is the perfect medium spicy. I cannot say enough good things. I am so thankful El Caracol is near me. It's small but this place is a must try. If you don't like it we can't be friends.“

“This is one of those rare places that got everything right. The service was amazing, and the food was delicious. We started with guac and chips. We got 2 sauces that came with the complementary chips. One was green, and one was a cream based sauce. Both were really good and spicy. Guacamole was great with fresh chilies on top. Chips were fresh. For the main entree, I ordered vegetable fajitas, which came steaming hot to the table and was mouthwatering. My sister got vegetable enchiladas with Verde sauce. She said it was great with a kick to it. Both of the orders came with a side of rice and beans. Vegetable fajitas also came with a choice of soup or salad. I got the tortilla soup. We both ordered horchatas. They were cold and sweet with a hint of cinnamon. Delicious. The portions were a good size. If you are in the area or even if you aren't, def check this place out. 10/10.“

“A gem that always delivers in south philly! Super amazing tacos and tortas and from that I’d try much more of their menu in the future. They set the standard so I imagine the rest of the food is just as superb. Service here is always really good, servers are very energetic and kind and able to speak two languages, so utmost respect. Their agua frescos are huge and very tasty. I want to try their dessert but their portions are just so generous and perfect to keep me full for hours. 10/10 everytime would bring everyone I know here.“

We got the special (a carne asada burrito), chicken enchiladas, and chips and salsa.We are visiting from out of town and brought our kids with us. The waitress initially acted like she had never seen a child before ? I understand that they do a big bar business, but it was before 5pm and it was honestly comical how surprised they seemed by children. The staff recovered quickly however and we had a very nice meal. Accessibility note: it's all high tops indoors.“

“Always have a great experience here at Primo Plaza. They have a store in the front where you can buy all types of seasonings, baked breads, drinks, supplies and more. They also have a very special bakery where they make beautiful cakes and all types of deserts. The restaurant itself has a great menu with nice portion sizes and good prices. They have fresh made drinks and the salsas as well. The service is always good.“

I pretty much closed my eyes & pointed to something. I could have been happy with a number of items but I was delighted with my. Beef & chorizo tacos. I ordered a cemita de milanesa de res and it was delicious ???? just as I remembered them on my visits to Puebla, the portion is huge ?, It only takes 2 servings, also pot coffee, that one lacked flavor. “This was our first time ordering from Provecho and I was pleasantly surprised! We ordered via DoorDash and the food arrived warm and fresh. Overall, everything was delicious. We got a chicken tinga burrito bowl, tacos, a kids quesadilla, and chips & queso. Everything was delicious with the exception of the shrimp taco. The shrimp felt a bit rubbery and underwhelming. The Tinga and carnitas tacos were both much more flavorful. The kids quesadilla was delicious and we all enjoyed the fresh chips. The queso was basically just a cheese sauce. It really could've used some sort of chilis, tomato, cilantro, etc. to spice it up. Looking forward to ordering from here again!“

“First time at Canela today and they did not disappoint at all! Ordered to go two sets of street tacos (Al pastor, birria, and steak) with flour tortillas and corn tortillas, a steak burrito, and churros. Everything was fresh and delicious! The burrito came with fries and the tacos came with fresh limes and cucumbers. They included napkins, cutlery, extra sauces, and complimentary chips and salsa at no extra charge. This will be my new regular spot for tacos and more! I can't wait to try more items on the menu.“
