“We finally got around to trying this local eatery and were not disappointed. The service and the pizza were excellent. We chose outside seating, so unfortunately we had to endure a couple of noisy begging dogs someone chose to bring to dinner on the sidewalk. 😩 They were not service dogs and they were not particularly well behaved, constantly whining for food and blocking the sidewalk so people had to trip over them or step into the middle of the street to walk around them. But the establishment, the food, service and employees were great. Next time we will go inside if the outside is overrun with inconsiderate dog owners.“

“I really liked the layout and the service. The pizza need work. The distinct taste of sauce on my margarita pizza tasted quite cheap. Nothing like a pizza from say, Slice Of Brooklyn. The cheese was nice and flavorful and it did remind me of my childhood from where I got punched every single time i even spoke out of order. I got burned by pans and pots and hot plates over and over again. It was hell. This place is hell.“

One must leave room for relativity, for example location, can I rate varsity and Ray Barry in Manhattan as if they were both the exact same owners, Cooks and were located next door to each other. For a long time now I have been ordering my pizza from a competitor that is a couple miles north on 206. About a month ago I just by chance stopped in because I was so hungry. Pizza is an art, I was born, and breaded in Manhattan, and qualify as a Pizza, Dinner, and Marijuana connoisseur, of sorts. “I’ve eaten at Amari’s twice and plan to go back at least monthly because the food is scrumptious and very reasonably priced. The service is excellent as well; welcoming, friendly, professional and efficient. I highly recommend the caprese salad (I ask for tomatoes to be removed and prosciutto to be added), chicken soup and the pasta dishes.“

“Loved the thin crust GF pizza. We had it customized (half mex half spicy sausage). The mex part was layered with black beans and corn and topped with pico style tomatoes and onions. Spicy sausage had red and green sweet peppers layered on top of marinara and cheese. Was enough for two if you're not super hungry. The best part was that GF didn't feel like chewy/doughy unlike other pizzerias that sell GF pizza. It seems they make it from scratch using buck wheat.
