“I cannot sing the praises of this place and the staff enough! We had a long day at the museum and we were all starving and the kids were very cranky. We took forever trying to find a place that they would all find something to eat at but that place didn't work out so we came here not realizing how lucky we were. After having a quick glance at the menu I realized two of my children would probably not eat anything. Two of the ladies that work there helped us work it out to piece together a meal for them with components they already have. It took quite a while figuring everything out but they were patient and helpful. The food was outstanding and the cocktails and mocktails were phenomenal. “Atmosphere was sophisticated especially compared to neighborhood Mexican restaurants. Service was attentive. But the food was disappointing. House salad was nice, with a touch of unexpected mint, but the Vegetarian Chili Rellenos with winter vegetables really missed the mark. In hindsight I should have returned it as it was warm but barely cooked. Every vegetable stuffed in the poblano chili, including the chili itself, was still crunchy (almost raw) rather than what I am sure the head chef would have intended. Also, The carrot pure sauce was a bit too heavy on the cream. I had high expectations, so was disappointed.“
