“Me and my husband always love to visit new places for lunch and based on the reviews, we decided to try Pink Lotus. So firstly- it has so many vegetarian options which is rare to find in Chinese/ Asian restaurants. We tried their tofu thai basil and Oh my God!! It was heavenly- the char on tofu and vegetables was just delicious!! We also tried Sechuan tofu and veg spring roll and they were also amazing. The customer service was definitely an icing on the cake, we were greeted very warmly by this lady and she was very friendly with us. Our overall experience was just great!! Definitely a must try if you're in the area and want to have Asian cuisine“

“Food was amazing! The service was fast and the staff were super kind! Somebody I think was the owner was super sweet and kept checking in on us! The atmosphere is great, it's a cozy, quiet, little restaurant, perfect for a calm dinner after a long day! We ordered the peking duck and a couple soups, as well as steamed shrimp dumplings. The dumplings were amazing and so were the soups! We got a whole duck for $70, while a bit pricey it was worth every penny! I absolutely adored this restaurant and it will definitely become one of my family's go to Chinese places! Can't reccomend enough!“

“This is one of my favorite no frills hole in the wall spots! It's a mom and pop shop run by a mother and her son. They make Chinese food that is more Southern style (I believe they're from Yunnan) and are consistent with their quality of food. They're cash only, super old school since they don't do delivery or have a phone number and are only open on certain days of the week (at the time of writing, 4 days a week). So be sure to check the posted store hours before you go! If you get any of their noodles it always comes with a side of their homemade chili oil and it's so fragrant and flavorful! It has a little hit but isn't too spicy. It's one of my favorite parts of their noodle dishes and honestly they should probably bottle and sell it. They have a few types of noodles: regular noodles (wheat), knife cut noodles (much thicker and they have an irregular texture) and mixian (rice noodles). Their mixian is very smooth and a good option if you want a slightly lighter noodle. I opt for the knife cut noodles when I want some texture and something heavier. They also have a few vegetable dishes that are simple but give you some balance if you like veggies with your meal. My go tos are the spicy noodle of my choice with the meat sauce or the non spicy version with meat sauce. In our most recent visit I got the spicy mixian with meat sauce and my partner got the mixian with meat sauce with an added egg. You'll see the chili oil pictured as well. I also included a picture of the stir fried cabbage from another visit! Though a bit out of the way if you're not in NJ, I've now managed to introduce the spot to two of my friends and they liked it as well! I'm always happy when I come here and we'll continue to frequent Lucky Foo. I'm so glad they survived Covid and still seem to be doing well. We'll keep coming back as long as they're open!“

“Excellent Sichuan restaurant. Authentic Sichuan dishes and great service. Take out only, but you can take the food and dine in at Tabaq Restaurant (excellent restaurant also - authentic Pakistani food) next door. Tabaq owners own Dragon Palace (some type of ownership). I usually do take out from both Dragon Palace and from Tabaq. Dragon Palace now serves halal food only.“

“Absolutely one of the best restaurants we've tried in some time. first time having Taiwanese food. very simple with some amazing flavors. we ordered the Crab/Pork soup dumplings as soon as we sat down. simply the best I've had. the Cucumber salad with hot chili oil, fantastic !!! Popcorn Chicken was the first chicken of its kind that didn't need a sauce. the meat was crispy and moist and held its own without a sauce. Taiwanese sausage was served with sliced garlic. simple a delicious !!!! we also had the fried pork soup dumplings which were incredible !!!! Can't wait to go back and try their entrees. Restaurant was packed when we arrived for lunch and stayed that way. Service was impeccable. Next time I'll make sure to make a reservation !!!!“

Kung Pao chicken seemed to have more vegetables than Chicken, but still tasted great!“

“I ordered pork fried rice and chicken wings and BABYYYYYY I've never had chicken wings so good and crunchy from a Chinese restaurant. The rice was fresh. I really enjoyed. They also had great prices. I had and eight wing combo with the fried rice, and one order of eight wings which came up to 22 dollars! And they were big bulky pieces of chicken. Definitely worth the whole experience. Yes, I would order from here again“

“So - I have a lot of allergies and eating issues- I was LATE to eat anything and late to pick up my order. They said it was ready - and let me tell you how much I appreciate these people. They served it when I walked in. My rice and beef with broccoli were hot. And stayed hot while I finished my errands. No MSG (I’m allergic and it hurts :/ ) and I still have more left over for today. I actually found out this place from a coworker of mine and figured I would give it a go because I was in search of a different Chinese food restaurant to start ordering from. I won't name places, but when I first moved to the area in 2010 I went to a different place for a few years but their food quality went WAY down (and way before Covid so that can't even be the excuse). Then I found another place who's food I liked but after Covid their prices skyrocketed.So I gave this place a chance and so glad I did. The pricing is beyond reasonable, the food is always delicious and the service is always fantastic. The lady that takes the orders and takes care of the customers is SO friendly and appreciative.The only downfall is they do not deliver and I don't believe they have anything set up with GrubHub etc. So if you're not close to them, then it could be a hike to go pick up the food.But if you do, it'll be worth it ;)HIGHLY recommend!“
