“We were looking for a vegan restaurant to stop at about halfway through a drive from Bergen County to a shore point and found this place on Happy Cow. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive, and the portions were large. We ordered the mac & cheese with coconut bacon and the Reuben sandwich. Although we were full we ordered two desserts to go because they looked so delicious . We ate them later on at home and they were delicious as well! We got the slutty brownie and the chocolate chip cookie. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.“

“We just finished our dinner here at Tandoor India Restaurant… and it was delicious. I had the ChickenTikka Masala and my buddy had Chicken Vindaloo. Another friend had a vegetarian Spinach/Cheese dish but I didn’t try that. I’m allergic to vegetarian dishes.
Both the freshly made chicken dishes were flavorful and tasty. The garlic naan was outstanding.
Don’t let the lack of cars in the parking lot fool you, it might be empty inside but it’s bursting with flavor.
The owner is very friendly and welcoming.

“Ice cream was to die for. They have such great flavors there. Don't pass up the ricotta cheese and olive oil flavor. It sounds crazy but it's really sweet and very good. It was also SUPER affordable. Two large cups of ice cream (3 scoops each) was just 13 bucks and change. Can't do better than that for the quality and unique flavors. Super great value.“

“Everything from this place was amazing!!! We got the Yellow Lentil Dal, Butter Chicken, and garlic naan. We ordered them mild…. Because I am white haha… I will say that the Chicken was still spicy for me. My husband loved it as is. But the rice really helps mellow everything out. The lentils were perfect!!! I order everything take out and I was treated so well even though I came early. The restaurant was beautiful, peaceful, and just tranquil. The people that worked were just soooo attentive and kind. Even though it was busy, all was calm. It was impressive seeing this from the outside. Next time I want to dine in!“

“We’ve been going to Illiano’s nearly 36 years. It’s been great since day 1. We usually do takeout and find the pizza, subs and garlic knots to be the best in Monmouth County. When we moved out of town about 3 years ago we tried to find something that was comparable and closer, but that didn’t work out so make the trip back just about every Friday night. “This was our first visit to the restaurant. We choose to come here based on outstanding reviews. We came for lunch. The waitress, was horrible & rude. I asked her what was in the Beijing Bistro Signature Soup, she had absolutely no clue. Maybe some chicken vegetables, she didn't even try to find out. I wanted to bring it home for later on, but she didn't bother asking. We ordered 2 lunch specials (both of us had the same dish, Mango Chicken with tangy sauce). Neither one of us, ever had this dish prior. Nothing on the menu stated it was a spicy dish, guess what it wasn't a spicy dish, but the excuse we receive from the waitress was "well sometimes the chef likes to be creative." Please don't get me wrong, the sauce was good, but it wasn't what was ordered, and I don't ever order spicy dishes. She didn't even tell the manager there was an issue. After paying, and still no response as to what was the sauce, I asked her again, but this time the manager overheard. She then went and asked the chef, needless to say he put chili flakes in the tangy sauce. The manager was very nice and refunded our meal. The waitress on the other hand should find a new job.“
