“I just ordered the tastiest Cuban sandwich I have tried. It was pressed so toasty and crispy. I had the waitress add extra pickles and garlic. They make the drink “Morirsoñando” (like a creamsicle) with freshly squeezed orange juice and it brought me back to how my grandma used to make it. The food is incredible the service is on point and even when they are packed(which is very often) the ladies always keep up with me and thank me for my patience. The price for the quality of food is the best I have ever seen. I have ordered food at minis well over One Thousand times and the food always hits home. Even though I have moved farther away I still make the 35 minute drive to minis multiple times a week just because no other restaurants has the quality of food that they have. The lady at the counter could look a little less upset, maybe they should play some music for atmosphere, because it’s like eating in a closet with windows. That said, the food is all that really matters. The rice is fluffy, the beans are perfect, and the stewed beef was the perfect addition. The lemonade is delicious and I’m pretty sure they make their own tres leches cake, it’s good but a tad on the sweet side. All in all, definitely worth a 2nd trip.“
