“Looks like a dive bar. Clientele appears all local. We came on a Wednesday night where they have the steamed shrimp special. Place was packed. People filed in quickly ate and left knowing exactly what they were doing. Our server Nancy who is a nurse by profession during the day has been working there for 46 years! She has super powers! As we were trying to figure out the place she just appeared! Our drinks and orders came quickly. Beer on tap was chilled perfectly in a frosted mug and tasted fresh. The shrimp was fantastic the mahi bites tender and the Lima bean soup full of flavor. We even were lucky enough to get soft shelled crab. The strategic mistake we made was not to inquire about fresh oysters first as we were distracted by the shrimp special. We were already full by the time we found out. Next time! We didn’t even look at the menu.“
“Great dive bar. Used to come with my stepdad, now that he’s passed on we come because it still reminds me of him. It’s very much a dive with old bar stools, old tap handles and beer signs everywhere. But the vibe is great. Haven’t had the peanuts at the bar in a few years, wonder if they still serve “
“Really enjoyed this place. The manager and staff were awesome. The food was great, affordable, and served quickly! My band played here, and they treated us like gold. It's one of those bars where every kind of music is liked and appreciated. All types of people all getting along and just enjoying a night out. “Beer was served very cold and a perfect pour. The burger me and my guest ordered where way overcooked. Both burgers ordered rare, both just slightly under well done. The burger itself was nothing special at all. It lacked flavor even with Swiss cheese and mushrooms. Maybe they are made fresh, but surely didn't appear to be. They never said they where, so I can't complain about that. I'll try again and try something else. It's a place that has stood the test of time.“

“Old Bay honey wings are ridiculously good! The Cosmopolitan the bartender Diane made me was delicious and exactly how it's supposed to be made. They were friendly which made sitting at the bar really nice. The Cheesesteak was not my favorite the meat was basically steakums and tasted like it. That's my only gripe otherwise a great place“
“First time there with some friends. Went to see and hear a performer Jimmy Dunn (very talented guitarist and singer). Decided to have a bite to eat and was very impressed with the selection and food. In our group of seven everyone was very happy with their meal. Service from a young lady Doria was top notch. The tavern owner came over to greet us and later in the evening treated us to a complimentary drink. Will definately return in the future.“

“This place is a great place to run to for lunch when you work at the port. Some of the best wings in Delaware, and there are daily specials. Also, a great happy hour spot with Karaoke on Wednesday nights I believe. I grew up in the neighborhood behind there and it always brings back great memories. “Hands down the best Mexican restaurant. Ornalfo is absolutely professional and an amazing server. Very courteous and fast. The restaurant itself has a nice vibe and I absolutely love the music. They have a special just about everyday. I go for taco Tuesday and margaritas are delicious. I've tried many cuisines. Shrimp cocktail tons of shrimp and has great flavor, shrimp quesadilla, empanadas, can't think of the pork dish that has marinated pork(Cochinita) with this delicious spicy heated flavor. “Beatiful building, clean. And plenty of room. Huge bar with tons of seats. 4 golf Sims. 2 upstairs and 2 down. I didn't eat while there a few times. But the beer was cold. Service was good and pleasant workers. So much room great for meetings, parties. Etc.“
