I make homemade half the time.Update: have since ate here and the food seems better. The quantity and quality is there. For the most part, the dishes we had, soup, etc were very good. One star removed for the sesame chicken. It was more like pork, a little tough and dry, and red like pork is. If the sesame chicken was like I’ve had it or made it, this would be a 5 star review. The gentlement who took my order (forgot his name) make me a black & white shake (not officially on the menu) and even offered to put my milkshake (for the ride home) in their fridge until I was ready to leave. “I live in MA and from NJ never had the sub. Told from those in MA, I need to try it. Said they were good. So visiting home I got one. It really tasted no better than any other sub. The bread was good and soft. It was descent. The price was crazy,but I don't complain about cost especially when trying something new. I had a turkey large sub and for almost 17 dollars why wasn't the included!? It cost extra which I told them for the cost it should be included since it's only 4 pieces. “In the summer months, I always look to have a nice refreshing lemonade, and Pucker's is definitely the place to get it while visiting Asbury Park. Just one sip, and you know you are getting fresh squeezed lemonade that has the right amount of sweet to tart ratio. The place is small and hardly noticeable on the boardwalk unless you are using the restrooms that are directly behind them. They also serve fries (several sizes) and fried oreos, but I haven't had the chance to try them yet as I always go for the lemonade. The staff is friendly and quick with the orders, so no complaints about the service. I noticed some reviews stated that the price of the lemonade is a tad high at $6 each or $7 if you get a flavored lemonade, but I think it is pretty reasonable. I definitely recommend and most certainly stop by again the next time I am in the area.“
