Today I tried a beet, maple and rosemary flavor that surprised me and one called the lake, with royal spirulina andbgolden sea moss- had a fresh clean upfront flavor that ended with cake batter- yummm. “My husband and I drove up from Toms River for the Cannoli kit after experiencing it at a party . It was a Sunday and the girl behind the counter was very rude and said we don’t have any they need to be ordered a head of time , thankfully RALPH walked in and saved the day he went above and beyond to get us what we came for ! If you don’t know the lay of the store you shouldn’t be working there ! Customer service should be a priority and she certainly wasn’t willing to try helping . “Decent, but I've been to better ice cream parlors. When we went (Labor Day 2023), the line was long. The problem is when you get to the long counter with all the various flavors, you might have given your order before seeing all the flavors. It would be great if they had an electronic display that rotated through all flavors, perhaps with pictures and descriptions. That way you could have narrowed down your choice by the time you get to the counter. This in turn could help the line move faster. The service itself was good, the quality of the ice cream decent and the prices reasonable.“

The crumbl by me was not a great experience because the cookies were dry and a bit sweet, this location and getting 12 cookies proved me wrong that even though it is a chain, certain stores execute better than other. “I stopped by sunday's on my way home from work as I pass by there. Deciding I wanted a snack but didn't want to commit to anything large. I thought why not get a small ice cream cone. I went around 5:00 on a Monday afternoon and I was the only person there granted. It's the winter and so I don't know how many people are regularly coming out. I can imagine in the summer this place would be significantly more busy. When I went inside I was greeted by the woman behind the counter. She was friendly and nice. I asked if I could sample one of the flavors and she obliged. I tried the tiramisu which was really delicious and I ended up getting a small cone with that and the s'more. I did really like the tiramisu better and if I went back I would probably just get that and has chunks of ladyfinger in there which adds to a very nice texture. All in all they had a lot of really good looking flavors and they even had ice cream cupcake looking things in the case. I bet this is a great place to come in the summer as well as getting some options for kids birthday parties, or adults if that's your style too.“

“This place is great because you can either get Italian ice or soft serve, or both! Originally I didn't know if I wanted soft serve but when I saw they had cookie butter soft serve I knew I had to try it. I paired it with mango Italian ice. It probably wasn't the best combination but individually they shined on their own. The cookie butter soft serve tasted like a Biscoff coffee. The flavor was on point and the texture was nice and very creamy. The mango Italian ice was good but not the best. I wanted more mango flavor but it was still good.Overall I will definitely be back next time I'm in Point Pleasant to try more flavors.“

“Really good frozen yogurt! There was a good amount of flavors to choose from, a lot of them were more unique than your typical plain vanilla and chocolate. I got toasted marshmallow, snickerdoodle, and birthday cake. All were really good with good flavors. The woman working was also really helpful with recommending which flavors to get.“
“Can’t give 5 stars due to the subpar service and god awful ownership. Otherwise, this location is the only one worth visiting. The “lighthouse” ones are more like water ice. I highly recommend the peanut butter if they have it. Some flavors run out fast. Coconut hasn’t been on the menu in years since before they moved across the street. I can’t answer why and wouldn’t bother to ask. Amazing ice, cheap, but sadly cash only. The staff really could be better. The phone also never gets picked up to confirm hours. It’s all about luck and not confirmation they’re open.“

“Got some soft serve from here on a hot Friday afternoon and boy did it hit the spot! I ordered a vanilla and raspberry swirl. It was a great combination between the sweet vanilla and slightly tart raspberry. Both flavors were very creamy and the texture was perfect! My only complaint would be that I wish the raspberry flavor was slightly stronger but overall very good. Another thing to note is that they are cash only so make sure to have cash on you.“

They let her try a few samples and decide which she wanted and when it came to the toppings they held up a few spoonfuls so she could confirm which ones she wanted. I got 3 items the last time; 2 drinks and the sampler that consists of 4 different choice flavors of Italian ice. You can add a bit of custard to the center of the tray, however when I was asked if I wanted lids for everything I said yes. I wasn't thinking that there is no spot for the custard to go so they put the custard in between in the middle of the 4 flavors in the tray so I got my 2 custard drinks covered and the sampler platter so the custard was smothered down flat LOL. Probably should have double checked since we got that custard on it ?“
“Awesome little ice cream and shaved ice place in convention hall. Note- it's shaved ice- not Italian ice style. Both the small and large shaved ice are huge which is cool. Price is a bit high at $8 since it literally costs them next to nothing for ice and some juice mix but everything is out of control pricing nowadays. You can choose up to 3 flavors or just do one. Good selection of flavors. Ice cream is vegan and dairy free which is cool for those who can't do dairy or are vegan. Note if you want regular ice cream there's 2 places on the boardwalk that has that. Staff was friendly. Small tables to eat your ice cream at. Great way to cool off on a hot summer day.“

“If I miraculously have any room left over after gorging myself at a nearby Asbury restaurant, this is always a stop. The ice cream is delicious, the flavors offered are varied/unique, and the additional products are excellent too. I'm very much a cup person when it comes to ice cream (I don't like the experience being marred by constant vigilance/paranoia over whether the ice cream is about to melt from the cone to my paw), but this is the one place I'm willing to go with the cone, both for superficial optics and because they're genuinely tasty. I had a Hawaiian Punch-flavored cone a few years ago I still think about from time to time.I stopped by this past Saturday afternoon with the Millennial Chum, on a toasty summer day that was absolutely teeming with people all over the beach and boardwalk. If you'd asked me to guess beforehand, I would have estimated this place would have a line out the door, but we got lucky - I'd say there were maybe three or four people in front of us, and (this part isn't luck) the line moved very quickly and efficiently. While we waited the two minutes or so to order, I gave the merch section to the side a hard look - there are some VERY legit-looking hoodies for sale that are only about $30 or $35 and would easily retail for twice that at a different establishment. I might come back for one.On this particular day, I went with a small cup (two scoops) of the birthday cake ice cream, and I THINK something Oreo/cookie related, which unfortunately I can't definitively confirm because it's conveniently hidden on top of the birthday cake in the accompanying picture. Both were excellent. I've mentioned this many times in prior ice cream reviews, but as long as it's a decent flavor and it's not freezer burned, it's hard for me to give anything other than a full-throated endorsement of it. The servings are huge too - the small is not particularly small, and the much better-behaved Millennial Chum actually went with a kiddie cup in the end.Definitely worth a stop if you have the time and appetite.“

“We've been coming to Ralph's for at least 15 years and to us, it is one of the main attractions of the Asbury park beach. I can't even tell you which flavor I like best because they're all unique and so well executed. From their unique "crème" ices to Italian ice can't beat the texture and flavour. The service is always friendly and accommodating. Currently, I have to say that my favorite flavor is the cream ice called banana fudge! But let's not ignore the other favorites that we've tried over the years: the chocolate cream ice, Java chips, coconut, crazy coconut, lemon Italian ice, chocolate jelly rings, vanilla, etc.... we wish that Ralph's would add a location closer to our home. We're happy to make suggestions!“
