“My wife and I patronize our favorite restaurants, usually for a specific dish that they serve that is better than similar dishes offered elsewhere. Every Thursday we go to Szechuan Tokyo specifically for the Negimaki, the Japanese dish consisting of broiled strips of beef marinated in teriyaki sauce and rolled with scallions. While it is not equal to the Negimaki to which I was accustomed when living in New York, it is the best to be found anywhere around this neck of the woods. Since it is BYOB, we usually stop at the Foodtown, located in the same strip mall, to pick up a bottle of Sake Wine to complement our meal. The service here is excellent - very friendly, fast, courteous, and efficient. The salad and miso soup, which are included with the meal, are always fresh and very tasty. My wife and I each get a California Roll, which is also quite good, as an appetizer before eating the Negamaki entrée. Every course arrives at the table at just the right time - never rushed. Best of all, the prices are extremely reasonable for such an enjoyable dining experience.“

“My wife and I have dined at SF since it opened. We dined there yesterday, and had the pleasure of background music provided by a fine guitarist. In addition, for the first time in memory in a restaurant, we did not have our senses blasted by deafening and distorting amplification or pounding tympani. Instead of punishing us into submission, the music actually enhanced our dining experience. Why restaurants play insanely loud music at dining time is beyond me. But Scarborough Fair got it right.“

“Hi everyone who's interested or curious about andys pizza. I've been coming to andys pizza for many years as a local and its always satisfying and fulfilling. I talk with the owner on a regular when stopping in for an order and enjoyour conversations as well as the food. Today I ordered a California cheese steak and eggplant parm subs with fries the way we like them for the first time and was blown away how great they were. “I searched for a restaurant in Asbury that offered vegan, gluten free options and came across Reyla’s. I’m so happy I found this gem! I truly appreciate the thought that went in to create these dishes. Most restaurants don’t put much thought into offerings for people with dietary restrictions. There was something for everyone in our party. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted with an amazing flavor profile and presentation. We all loved each dish including dessert. Jules was our delightful server who was attentive, professional and great at her job.“

“I went here for my birthday! I had a pot of steamers as an appetizer and they were delicious, and served traditionally with the broth and hot butter. Then I had a 1 1/4 pound steamed lobster (with more hot butter) which came with corn (yes, I dipped it in butter) and cole slaw. Perfectly cooked! My favorites for breakfast are 3 eggs over easy , hashbrowns , bacon or sausage patties , rye or wheat toast along with coffee. My wife's favorite is blueberry pancakes or french toast and also scrambled eggs sometimes with home fries or hashbrowns. I wish they would also add eggs benedict to the menu as this is also one of my wife Wendy's favorites .
