“Staff is very kind and showed great hospitality during past experiences.I recommend the miso ramen personally due to its homemade tasting broth but after hearing others, they would prefer the Hawaiian poke bowl because of its fruity taste. I also recommend the peach fruit tea boba with tapioca pearls. The pearls are very chewy and soft and the drink complements it nicely. The aesthetic is very pleasant as well with its cool lights and calm theme. I would totally recommend this for anyone who enjoys this cuisine.“

“Came here for lunch unexpectedly I just found out about it. I got the lunch special shrimp lo mein and my friend got the General Tsos Chicken. Both were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Price not bad either. I recommend this place highly. I will be telling more people about this place. A hidden gem in WO. Will definitely be trying their boba tea soon.“

“Cute place with convenient parking in the back — we had no trouble finding a spot even on a Friday night. The sushi rolls were large and packed with fish. We were pleasantly surprised with free strawberry mochi and two pieces of tempura at the end. Great experience overall!“

“I have been coming to Momotaro for almost two years and have never been disappointed. I don’t only show up on occasion. I come once a week. The food is never bad. The quality is always consistent, delicious, and fresh. But what I enjoy most is the service and attention they always give. The entire staff is attentive and considerate. Sherry has been my server for most of my outings and she’s always friendly. She pays attention to every detail of my order even when it’s annoyingly specific. “We came for a quick and relaxing Saturday night meal. We were seated at a booth. The owner served us as she ran around managing all aspects of the business. We ordered scallion pancakes as a shared appetizer and I had a cup of wonton soup. My entree was chicken Mei fun and my dinner guest had pineapple chicken with brown rice. The portions were ample and all food was prepared and presented well. The scallion pancakes were crispy and not dripping in oil. The wonton soup was tasty and not salty. Overall we had no complaints. The business does what appears to be a greater pick up business than dine in. The restaurant decor is pleasant. We certainly will come back.“

“Great little story: more than 20 years ago I found myself inexplicably single (lol) and walked into Mitsuba (Chatham) just as it opened — I might have been their second-ever customer. I scanned the menu and wanted a lot of sushi, but not the Full “Love Boat.” I told them, “I’m not in love, and that’s too much food. Can I get something about half the size and half the price?”
They brought out what you see in the photo. I was satisfied and joked, “When I come back, can we call this the Lonely Boat?” And that’s how it stuck. It isn’t on the menu, but if you walk in and ask for “Mr. Howard’s Lonely Boat,” they’ll know what you mean.
I even suggested making it a Monday special — “Lonely Boat Mondays.” Imagine single folks showing up for a Lonely Boat, striking up conversations, and maybe two lonely diners eventually turning their Lonely Boats into Love Boats. “Great spot for Vietnamese food in general. Prices are fair for this economy and you get a lot. Broth for both the pho and the bun Bo hue were so fragrant and amazing. They were also very light and not heavy. Shrimp summer rolls were filled with shrimp. The chicken satay could have been cut up like chunks. The peanut sauce was amazing. This is honestly the only spot in New Jersey where I’ve found food that tastes like home. They have so many authentic dishes that are hard to find elsewhere, which makes it even more special.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit feel comfortable and enjoyable. Portions are also very generous, especially for the main dishes.

My personal favorites are the rice cakes, beef noodle soup, soup dumplings, pan-fried buns, and grass jelly dessert — everything is consistently delicious. I absolutely love this place and will definitely keep coming back!“

“All four of our party enjoyed their entrees and appetizers. Bursting with fresh flavors and top notch ingredients....we were served hefty portions. Not just your average Thai restaurant, a very varied menu. I recommend the delicate little dumplings appetizer and the Lamb Chops with Lemongrass. Also, the Thai Sweet Tea was delicious and the wait staff and owners were patient, helpful and kind.“
