“This is our 2nd time dining at Sea Bar II Grill, but this time I tried something I normally wouldn’t in NJ because until tonight I had not found a place that makes good fried seafood. I’m from Boston so I’m use to very good seafood that is cooked at a higher standard. Welp tonight I found my place! The Captain’s Sampler was slap your momma good! Quality seafood cooked to perfection! The live music was great and the service was great! To the owner, keep on being consistent, I’m excited and praying that your business continues to grow! “Finally, a Chinese takeaway that understands flavor. When King’s Wok III is firing on all cylinders, it’s hands down the best Chinese food in town. The food is hot, fresh, packed with flavor, and the portions are generous. The General Tso’s is spot on, the fried rice isn’t dry as the Sahara, and every dish tastes like the kitchen takes pride in what they’re serving.
The only issue is consistency. I’ve had my order given to someone else twice after calling ahead, and occasionally a dish misses the mark. Even so, the food is good enough that I keep coming back. Sort out the occasional service hiccups, and this place is exceptional.“

“Shout out to Jean D our waiter for the good service! My daughters and I went on our Girls Day Christmas shopping trip and always stop at the Deptford restaurant when we are done. He gave us just the right amount of attention and was very pleasant. Sometimes we feel either rushed or ignored but he made sure we were taken care at our pace. It was a great experience.“

“This place is very dangerous and way too close to home. I've been there three or four times already and I have to say everything I've gotten has been absolutely amazing. The crab cakes, the stuffed shrimp, the fried oysters, the potato salad the garlic mashed potatoes marinated mushrooms. A little bit pricey but worth every penny“

“We ordered a half pan of chicken parm for Christmas Eve dinner. It said it serves 5. They lied. So much food! Of course it’s delicious so we’ll happily eat it for days. Just be warned that catering portions are very large. Also they have the best vodka sauce I’ve had.“

“My wife brought a box home from El Mariachi for Valentine’s Day, nothing says love like tacos. Well, I fell in love with the birria tacos. In the last 6 weeks, we have ordered from here every Saturday. The birria, al pastor, and chicken tacos are delicious and full of flavor. The rice is perfectly made, and they have the Coca Cola in the bottle, made with cane sugar. Definitely a place you need to come and try!“

But I’ve been eating there for over ten years every 2 weeks .The menu offers a vast array of choices, but my go-to order—without fail—always includes their scallion pancakes and rice noodles. Their delivery service is fast; however, whenever I have the time, I prefer to visit the restaurant in person. “Been living in SJ for 10+ years and this is still my go to Chinese takeout and dine in. The comments here are so mean and after reviewing some recent ones… well Covid have happened it doesn’t help that the country itself is filled with mostly ungrateful Americans. The food is still good, there has been some changes but I never had problems with this place. Probably because I am also respectful and you receive what you give I guess. The place can use some upgrades and upkeeping but before you hurt a business, ensure you reflect how you are treating workers. It is hard out here and businesses themselves are just trying to thrive and make it back from Covid years.
