“I have been coming here since it opened. The people are always happy and in a good mood. Very welcoming and they are basically like a second family to me. The manager Jen is always accommodating to any needs. Cara is always quick to help with orders and customer service and Kassidy has always been a super positive, upbeat and very personable employee. whether at the bar or serving she makes your visit memorable. All the others i didn’t name are also top notch. Trust me. I’ve been a longggg time regular and always will be.“

“I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. “Cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a speak easy. Apps were delicious…broccoli and potatoes. Pizza was excellent….thin, crispy crust with great toppings. Definitely on our list of new spots to go.“

“I would love to give this restaurant 10+ stars. Never have I had such delicious food. Every mouthful of every dish was pure heaven! This was a birthday treat for my friend. We shared 6 small plates. I don't know which was THE best one. We started with drinks. He had the King Vidi and I the Shadowboxin. Both were expertly made. We then proceeded to enjoy Roasted oysters,Satsuma Mandarin salad, Tagliatelle, Foie Gras, Grilled Prawns and Grilled Broccoli. Every dish was spectacular and seasoned well. The accompanying sauces were smooth and velvety. We ended sharing a Chocolate Caramel Tart. My only issue was being seated next to the entrance where it was drafty whenever a new customer entered. I want to come back and try another selection of small plates. What a wonderful experience

“I love this place. They have some of the freshest distinct cocktail that I’ve seen that hasn’t been from a fancy spot or a speakeasy. They usually have a special and or some fresh fish. Backdoor pizza is also outback🤫. Only drawback is whenever me and my lady come in one female barkeep seems to purposely avoid greeting us or serving us. We sit at the bar and she’ll stay away like she playing defense for Manchester United and then when one of her co workers takes care of us she speak to any new patrons that come in and sit near us. Not sure what that could be but otherwise 5 ⭐️’s.“

“Me and My lady went here on a whim. I mean literally Caraba’s next door had over an hour wait and this place caught my eye. It was something different outside of our norm. So we went, the experience was amazing. The service was top notch, actually some of the best customer service I ever had. Was way beyond expectations, can’t say enough good things about Bree our server. She was quick, on top of things and had no problem explaining anything we wanted to know about the large variety of stuff they have on the menu and us never going there before. She talks to you and treats you like you are part of the family and she knows you,very friendly. Now for the food, again fast food but definitely better than expected. Very reasonably priced and good. Everything was fresh and good. The shakes were some the best we ever had. If I could give this place ten stars I would. Has an arcade and mini golf! What more could anyone ask for. Keep it up! Everyone there was friendly and wanted to be there. I told the host when we were walking out this place is excellent. He said that’s what we wanna hear,hope to see you here again next week at the same time Jokingly. This all Says a lot! We will be going back here many times to come. 👌“

“Came in from traveling - they found me and my wife and my 4 children comfortable seating. Fast friendly service. She came over multiple times to check in. When the kids were super load, she was quick to say it was ok and they were not bothering anyone. The ambiance was very inviting and the food was beyond delicious - plentiful portions. My 7 year old said it best - A 11 out of 11!!!! Shout out to Taylor who was beyond lovely. Will 1000 percent be back again.“

“The place itself was beautiful the host to the waitress was very friendly and didn’t mind a conversation. Everything was delicious to the appetizers to the courses. The only thing that wasn’t great was the NY stripe aged steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium rare but this was the worst chewy steak I ever had. I saved majority of it to see if I could fix it at home but no luck. Just not the best quality steak and was hoping it was due to grill being in the name. They only charged $8 bucks for that little dollop of butter on top of the steak. The best thing we had was the scallops they are to die for! They melt in your mouth and the flavor was fantastic. I would come again just wouldn’t get their steak again.“

I know what quality looks like and this was a winner all around. The servers where pleasant, professional and timely. The food was beyond outstanding! Everyone raved about it and I am still hearing about the food two months later. Roxanne was my coordinator and she is spunky, professional, super friendly and executed the night flawlessly. “I went to Stateside for the first time last night and everything we ordered was really good! White wine, champagne, an old fashioned, and the wheat beer were all very refreshing! Then the food knocked it out of the park - delicious fresh oysters packed in ice with sides of cocktail sauce, vinaigrette, and lemon; crunchy and juicy shrimp tempura seasoned perfectly; and shishito peppers that were fresh and deliciously salted! We were so happy with everything and it really elevated the whole night. The restaurant seemed slightly understaffed so a little slow but very good and kind and helpful!“
