“The first time I visited here was about 2 years ago. Incredible BBQ and Pickles. The Management and Staff are incredible, the BBQ, delicious. I lived in Kansas City (BBQ Capitol of the World), and in Florida for years. This restaurant would still be great anywhere because they have mastered not only a great product, but the staff and management have also mastered incredible Customers Service. It's been rated the best BBQ in NJ for several years. I would argue one of the best BBQ restaurants in the USA.“

“​This is one of those places my whole family is willing to make an hour drive for. We always get the seafood hotpot, and while it's a bit pricier than other spots, the quality totally justifies the price. My parents are huge seafood fans, so they know what's good, and the food here consistently exceeds their expectations.
​We came on a Friday at 5:30 PM and there were still plenty of seats available. You can put your name on the Google waitlist if needed, but if you come early, you should be fine. They have a minimum two-person dine-in policy, which totally makes sense. Honestly, if you really want to try everything, you need a good group of 4–6 people so you’re not stuck eating just two dishes.
​You order everything on an iPad and then hand it to a staff member to place it. It might help to know a little Chinese at this establishment. They also have a sauce bar and a drinks fridge with fruits and other snacks to grab while you wait for your food.
​As always, you must end the meal with the durian. I’m not sure how they manage to get such yummy durian all the time, but this is apparently the place to eat it to your heart's content. The jelly dessert was just okay—tasted more like a boxed jello mix. Pro-tip: if you pay in cash, you can get their tea to go at the end.
​We left extremely full and probably don't need to eat for the next several meals, but I’m already looking forward to the next time I return.“

Even for a busy holiday day, lets say we had to wait 40 min to get our food, 15 min to get drinks. But our young girls had plenty of fun people watching and romping around their open green space while they waited. “Visited this place for lunch a couple Saturdays ago and ordered their House Special Chaufa (Peruvian fried rice). I've been to many an Asian restaurant and tried many different fried rice dishes, but La Esquina's Chaufa stood out for sure. The South American flavors blended extremely well with the familiar elements of fried rice. Hot, mildly spicy, and goes great with the green sauce (salsa?) that came with a small curious dish of fried, chewy corn.

The price was a bit on the higher side, but the portion size and taste made it well worth it. I was also pleased with the speed and service from the friendly lady who took my order. Of course, it was quiet when I arrived (around 12:40 PM).“

The char and seasoning was spot on. Chicken fall off the bone. Ribs perfect for this style of cooking and hard to find where I live. Very well done. Do wish they had Pão de Bico or if they do as an option on grubhub. Wish I lived here as this would be a regular Togo spot.“
