“We usually go to a place in Hackensack but there was and issue today that the manager/owner would not rectify. We opted to go more locally to Arirang instead. Best decision EVER!!! From our talented and witty chef Sando to our excellent server Elisa, we had the time of our lives. The show and food was plentiful and DELICIOUS! Our server was not only pleasant, but efficient also. She made sure that we were good on multiple occasions. My daughter who did not attend collects chopsticks so I grabbed a few stained ones from our table, she immediately replaced those with not only new ones but two different types of chopsticks without us asking. An all around 5 star experience! ??⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Tasty food with lots of choices for the whole family. We did takeout for 5 items: --Wok Fried Noodles - bouncy and satisfying! --Bao Sampler Platter - Really good, especially with chili oil! This came with different fillings: Pork with Scallion, Chicken with Corn, and Beef with Onion and you can have them steamed or fried. I super recommend getting their add-on of Spicy Minced Pork Chili Oil which really elevates this dish. --Jasmine Boba Tea (customized for my request of zero ice, zero sugar) - pretty good, but the boba was kinda hard. --Crab and Pork Soup Dumplings - Pretty good. These are very likely much better eaten in the restaurant. In general, the filling was slightly too dense and the wrapper was a little too thick compared to the same dish I've had elsewhere. --Bao Chicken - A family fave. This came with 3 pieces of broccoli and was heavy on the chicken which had a light coating and yummy sauce. The portion lasted my kids several meals. With food this good, this spot can take a bao. ;)“

“My fav sushi place around here!!! So good, the owner is really nice too!!! You can tell they really care about what they're serving.Edit: GET THE HIBACHI, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. Absolutely delicious. Our fav spot. The sauces are the best!!! We also make sure to take home a jar of that amazing ginger dressing when we go. ? Thanks for existing and filling our stomachs with quality food.Pss. I have a severe shellfish allergy and it's important to me that restaurants actually care about us. I never feel uncomfortable ordering from them.Dietary restrictions: I am allergic to shellfish and they are always really great about it.“

“My sister and I decided last minute to go out to dinner and we landed at Toro Sushi. I actually used Google assistant to call the restaurant for me and reserve a table 15 minutes before our arrival. Toro was half full when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday but, by 8pm it was full so, our timing was perfect. Everything we ordered was excellent... edamame, tuna avocado salad, Congo roll, New York roll, tuna roll and salmon roll. Service was wonderful. We weren't rushed and food came out quickly. I'm definitely bringing my husband here the next time we visit my sister.“

“The food is great. I won't rehash what everyone else says regarding that, everything on the menu is very good. But one dish in particular I will add is awesome: "the inflation special" (my own name label). It's braised pork sauce, rice, vegetable, and an egg for less than $10. You can add Taiwanese sausage if you want for $3 more. This is a such a steal in this insane economy we're in right now. It's a really good quick easy lunch or dinner option. I've gotten it when I'm lazy or just want a dish that isn't too heavy. Get it! Cheap and tasty.“

“We have several Thai places around where I live in Maplewood that are 10 minutes away but we go out of our way to go to Summit Thai, the food and service are always great; it's worth the drive. We love their Maple Street dish, along with the pad thai and red curry.“

“Ordered from doordash, everything was outstanding from the sushi to the hibachi, teriyaki, and fried rice. We're very picky about sushi and this roll was delicious and fresh. They forgot my fried rice at first, but I called and they brought it to my door within 10 minutes.“

“One of the best places to get good sushi. They have a great selection and good drinks too. I always enjoy myself here. Just be careful walking from the parking lot to the restaurant in the dark. It’s not well lit and there isn’t a side walk. Cars pulling in or out won’t be able to see you.“

“This place is super-reliable for tasty Thai food to go. I have never had anything here that wasn't delicious. In particular, all their appetizers, curries, and the grilled pork tenders are stand-outs.We take out from here every other month or so. Never ate in, but we definitely should. When I order online, my order is always waiting for me when I get there. Very fast service.“

“Relatively small restaurant, with high-quality Korean fare. We got short ribs and beef bulgogi, which both were served sizzling hot on cast iron griddles. Tasty soup was provided (on the house) with our dumpling appetizer. Both entrees were offered with a specification of spice/heat level from "1" to "5". The "4" was pleasantly spicy and not overwhelming.Would highly recommend visiting but you may want to call in advance for large groups considering their small seating capacity at any moment.“

“Food is very good, and I take out more than I dine in. Crispy Duck, basil fried rice, all the Curry's are very good. Pork and shrimp dumpling, pad se ew are all solid choices. They compete with one other Thai restaurant in Madison, but Nahm is where I usually end up. Bit pricey.. noodles and fried rice are best priced dishes. Menu is on their website.Wheelchair accessibility: Front door entry is sidewalk level.“

“Been a few times now to eat in and grab take out. The people are always friendly and helpful in both scenarios. We've gotten a couple different ramen bowls and poke/burritos. Food is always tasty and generously portioned. Only minor complaint I've ever had is that the eggs in the ramen could be a little less cooked for me but otherwise everything else has been great.“

“The food and the service was incredible. I have two little very talkative girls and the team there showed them all the attention they needed. Not sure how long they have been open for but we’ve been living in scotch plains for 8 years and just finally visited. Everyone that walked in was greeted with a hug so they clearly have a lot of repeat customers that they take care of. This is the place ?“

“Ordered for the first time from Mizu based on others reviews and I was not disappointed! The pad Thai shrimp was very flavorful and a big portion. Also ordered 2 sushi rolls. Both were very fresh and tasty and even the ginger that comes with the rolls was the freshest I have ever tasted(and they give you enough).“

“Aroy D Thai Restaurant in Verona, NJ, stands out as an authentic Thai dining experience with a diverse menu that caters to vegetarians and vegans. While the restaurant may not always accommodate those with allergies, the variety of vegetarian options makes it a go-to spot for plant-based eaters. One of the highlights of Aroy D is their commitment to providing flavorful vegetarian dishes. I have enjoyed their Thai Green Curry, Thai Red Curry, and Penang Curry in the past, which were rich in traditional Thai spices and offered a delightful culinary experience. However, I must note that there has been a recent change in their policy, and they no longer agree to prepare these dishes without corn starch and soy sauce, limiting the choices for those with specific dietary restrictions and allergies. Despite this drawback - I miss having my curries - without allergen corn :( , there are still plenty of delicious options for vegetarians. The Summer Rolls are a refreshing and appetizing starter, filled with crisp vegetables and served with a flavorful dipping sauce. The Vegetable Fried Rice is a personal favorite, boasting a perfect blend of textures and tastes. Additionally, their Sticky Rice with Mango is a sweet and satisfying way to end the meal. Aroy D's Rolled Coconut Ice Cream is a delightful treat when available. The combination of coconut flavor and the unique rolling technique creates a visually appealing and delicious dessert that adds a perfect finishing touch to the dining experience. While it's disappointing that they may not be as accommodating to those with allergies, Aroy D Thai Restaurant remains a reliable choice for vegetarians and vegans seeking authentic Thai cuisine in Verona. The friendly staff and inviting atmosphere contribute to an overall positive dining experience, making Aroy D a place worth exploring for Thai food enthusiasts, especially those with a penchant for plant-based options.“

“Was able to walk in and get a table for 9 people. It's a little pricy but all food was incredible, the duck was nice and chewy with a crispy skin. the rice noodles and vegetables in the soup were very fresh and well cooked. My Rangoon was very crispy and delicious. Everything is so fresh and well made I'd eat here all the time if I could. The staff are very kind and good at interacting with the customers. The place is well maintained and super clean, I randomly picked this place as somewhere to eat while in town and was incredibly surprised by this gem of a fantastic restaurant.Parking: Free curbside parking, we happened to come at a slower time so there was luckily plenty of space availableKid-friendliness: Plenty of space for families with kids and the waitress taking our orders was good with the kids we had, overall fantastic“

“I’ve been going here for at least 10 years. The food and service are always great. If going for the buffet, getting there earlier is best. They shut the buffet down at 2:30 so don’t arrive at 2 expecting staff to still be replenishing at that time. I’ve never had an issue or complaint.“

“This place has a cute charm and is always busy. We usually grab takeout, and the food is consistently tasty. We decided to dine in with a reservation one day, and despite arriving on time, we were told of a 30-minute wait, with a line ahead of us. The staff were unfriendly and insisted that we wait outside. Disappointed by the experience, we opted to eat elsewhere. It's a shame; this spot used to be my go-to for Thai food, but the recent service hiccup has kept me away.“

“Nice bright space with large poke bowl portions. I went for the first time recently, having been to another local poke spot many times. While I enjoy both places, this one definitely won on portion, which was my main complaint about the other one (too small). A very nice surprise!Order at the counter or on their self-order screen. Counter order-taker was friendly and cheerful. Food came out within 5 minutes and I sat at a table in the window. Was the only one dining-in, although they were doing a decent pick-up business.I ordered the spicy bowl and it was excellent. It comes with a generous portion of spicy tuna, spicy kani (crab stick) and spicy shrimp over rice, cucumbers, jalapeño, seaweed and tobiko. It looks like the have a nice selection of appetizers, as well. I will try that and bring the family next time!“

“Came here COMPLETELY at random. We decided to leave for dinner with absolutely no destination in mind, only an area where we would look. Found somewhere to try, but when we parked we saw this place tucked in the corner. Walked in and loved the decor & the vibe. Medium sized venue, that has that hidden gem feel. Dim mood lighting, smooth music, & friendly staff. They also have Karaoke rooms in the back. I went back there & took a look since they weren't in use. We ordered the Half & Half Wings (1/2 Soy Garlic, 1/2 Spicy Soy Garlic), Snowcorn Roll, & Bulgogi Sliders. Everything was excellent. Glad we didn't waste our random outing. Such a great choice & a new go-to spot. Grades: Wings: A+ Snowcorn Roll: A+ Bulgogi Sliders: A“

“Everything I imagined!I started my first year in college in Madison and found this convenient sushi shop. This place outperforms all the other restaurants you could order from, as they have an in-depth knowledge of the town. The sushi and the diverse food are not just fantastic, but also come at great prices. They deliver in a timely manner, even during busy periods, and are always ready to assist with any questions about their food. They are also open to any suggestions you might have about your meal. Every dish you enjoy, you can feel the dedication they put into it.So, if you're ever in Madison, trying to find places to eat, or a college student like me, TRY IT! “The food is excellent and specifically the Tokri Chat , it's so crispy and to add to our amazement, we came to know that the papdis and the tokris are all made by Sejal , the lady who will make your chaat whenever you visit Dhaba . She is a pleasant woman with equally pleasant smile . Her daughter Kajal met us at the register helped us with check ins and at checkout , for her age she had an assertive politeness and demeanor. Our server Ravi was the best part , as he apparently was covering up for his colleagues absence and seemed overwhelmed, yet he was attentive and jet speed. Any restaurant stands for its food but as a guest I believe the people who host you matter a lot more and today our experience was very entertaining ! I truly recommend the place and the people .“

I hate sushi but the tuna sushi is ?!! Soy sauce? More like girl boss!! Love this place, man. Just adore this food, on god; fax ong. One time I ordered chicken hibachi; got steak teriyaki. “Just call me crazy but this is hands-down the most traditional, flavorful, East-Asian food that I have ever had. After an easy-going tennis practice at NSRC, and about to get ready for my USTA Tournament nearby, I got great service in blazing speeds. The staff and especially owner were so nice, exceeding my expectations greatly.I have had a long, extended period of time looking for the right combination of Asian Fusion. After going to dozens of these Fusion restaurants, I have never been amazed, really, by any of the aspects. But at Avenue East, I have finally found my designated place for Asian Fusion.Let’s start off with the quality of the food. After my meal, I wasn’t able to speak, marveled by how amazing the meal I had was. The boiled dumplings were the perfect combination of healthy but delicious food. Paired with the shrimp tempura, I was astounded how perfect this restaurant was. Now, onto my entrée. I received chicken and broccoli from this unique restaurant. I cannot fathom or put into words how delicious it was. I think I stumbled into flavor-land. Every single other restaurant that has this entrée cannot even touch this level of awesomeness?. The broccoli was tender and not soggy for once, while the chicken was some of the best I have ever tasted. After my tough tennis match at the USTA tournament, I had my takeout food ready to go, and it energized me in no time.I have never given 5 stars on any other review that I have posted publicly to the community. Usually, most of my reviews are private, but as for Avenue East, I feel that everybody looking at reviews should see how amazing this restaurant is!Avenue East provides the burst of energy needed to accomplish goals in life. The flavor of this restaurant is on a level no other restaurant can touch. Many people talk of giving 10 stars is to a restaurant, but what’s the point of that? That is why for this restaurant, I would give ♾️?!“
“I very rarely eat in person dining here, no particular reason why , I just seem to order takeout with them the majority of the time. I have eaten in house though. Food is always consistently good. Always hot when I get home. Never once have they made a mistake on my order. One time I went to order via DoorDash for delivery and the restaurant actually called me because ordering through DoorDash was twice the price as ordering direct with them. I think that's great customer service if you ask me.“
