“I have been to other 30 Burger locations so was looking forward to giving this location a try. So the soft open event started at 6pm and they were stern with that. I called and who I believe was the manager answered and agreed to take my order and have it ready for 6pm. I ordered the chipotle bison burger, seasoned fries, and a snapple.

When I arrived I sat in the parking lot til it was close to time to go in the event. The line started to form quickly so I was glad to have gotten on it when I did. I found the manager who I spoke to and he told me the food wasn't ready and give it 10 more minutes. He seen I wasn't too happy and he offered to throw something else in of my choice and I chose the sweet potato fries. The food was done in about 10 minutes. I am happy I didn't have to wait too long because the line was bananas. When I dug in the bison burger was good and so was the seasoned fries. The sweet potato fries were not so great. All in all I had a pretty good experience.“

“I’ve ordered a few times all great experiences. Today I ordered in store at the kiosk and picked up, got home and although i got two combos (lamb k jerk chicken) upon eating the first few bites I realized both were only jerk chicken. I called however their voicemail isn’t set up. I wish someone could call me back and offer some kind of assistance/ discount 😩

UPDATE: The customer service team reached out to me immediately after my original review, apologized for the mix-up, and offered to make things right by replacing our two combo platters.

I stopped by Saturday night and showed the staff the email. They immediately knew what I was referring to, apologized again for the previous experience, and took care of my order with no hassle or confusion. My food came out quickly, the customer service was great, and the food quality was great as usual!

I really appreciate how quickly they responded to my concerns and that the same level of care carried over when I returned to the restaurant. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds matters. They addressed the issue immediately, made the resolution easy, and followed through on exactly what they promised. Definitely appreciated!“

“This spot was amazing for family sized trays. We got the half tray chicken and lamb combo + half tray of rice. This was the most meat ive gotten at a halal place and the half tray was more than enough for 9 people as we had leftovers. I highly recommend these trays for huge gahrerings, they accommodated within 30 minutes.“

Sweet potato fries were my favorite the corn was just basic corn but still delicious the chicken looks dry but trust me it was not it was very moist and I put the sauce on side just in case I didn’t like it but it was a great sauce … friendly staff. “Humble seems to be the best word to summarize this restaurant. The men who run it seem to have a great rapport with their customers; they’ve been there for 20+ years and it shows. They were kind and accomodating. The food was plated carefully and was pretty taste. My only complaints were putting margarine on my pancakes without asking and the tiny plastic utensils, which left my hands covered in syrup. However both of those go to the restaurant being unpretentious. There’s no atmoshere to speak of but it was clean. I’d eat here again but probably wouldn’t go out of my way.“

“I ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kabab through Uber Eats. After I ordered , I realized that I forgot to order Nan. So I called the restaurant and ask them that what can I do now. The person(probably the owner) replied , I will add Nan and whenever you visit, give me 2 Dollars. That was really a nice gesture which I will remember and must appreciate(along with the debt on me).

“I came here specifically for the HalwaPuri this morning, and it absolutely did not disappoint! There is nothing like a traditional breakfast to start the day right. The Puri was perfectly fluffy, light, and not too oily—just the way it should be.
The star of the show for me was the balance between the sweet and savory.

We visited and now I frequent it almost daily! Homefries platter is not for the faint of heart. You've got to have a hearty appetite or share it out. Grits platter...well...something of a southern treasure! Beef bacon egg and cheese sandwich is always a perfect on the run, goodie! We tried the shrimp over rice and that was nice. Chicken over rice was even better as it had a slight kick to it. And again, no matter what you order, bring a healthy appetite cause you're gonna need it and a long nap, after! Judging between both locations, the taste here in Hillside is very different along with the menu! More menu items, better taste, cozier venue plus great service! My reasons for giving this specific location 5 STARS although I requested for Juice options instead of all Soda/Water upon my last visit. Excellent for a quick grab and dash or dine-in!“

“I am from Montclair but travel to Newark often for their chicken, mac and cheese, onion rings, pizza and shrimp. Yum. Their employees are wonderful. The restaurant is busy because their food is worth it. It is inappropriate for anyone to suggest that their location means they should sell their good food for cheap.“

There was no one in there when I first went in, but boy did that change quickly. About 5 minutes later, it was like a family gathering full of people who did not know one another, but we had one thing in common. WE LOVE THAT CHICKEN 😂!! Y'all, we talked about the chicken and how good it is. We even stayed until a fresh batch came out. We laughed and brought up memories of the 2 staff that were still there since our younger aging, me now 50. The point is to get there and get THAT CHICKEN!! OH, the chicken steak was delicious as well. I loved that it was not dry. Also, try the pizza with the beef pepperoni slices.🤤🤤😁😍🍗🍕

“Best waffles I’ve ever had. Not sure what they put in the batter but I’ve never had a waffle that tastes as good as the ones here.

All the other breakfast sandwiches are also really good, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ve only had their breakfast so I can’t comment on their other food.

I’d mostly recommend takeout here, yes there is a seating area but it’s kind of small.
