“Yesterday, I called to place an order at Robs kitchen. The person who answered the phone was extremely polite, taking my order, repeating the order back to me to ensure everything was correct. I was told my food would be done in 15 minutes. I arrived within that time frame, my food was at the counter waiting. When I arrived home my food was still nice and hot, with the taste of Robins, Snow Hill days cooking,IFYKYK! Well done everyone! I was genuinely impressed!“

“I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. “I would love to give this restaurant 10+ stars. Never have I had such delicious food. Every mouthful of every dish was pure heaven! This was a birthday treat for my friend. We shared 6 small plates. I don't know which was THE best one. We started with drinks. He had the King Vidi and I the Shadowboxin. Both were expertly made. We then proceeded to enjoy Roasted oysters,Satsuma Mandarin salad, Tagliatelle, Foie Gras, Grilled Prawns and Grilled Broccoli. Every dish was spectacular and seasoned well. The accompanying sauces were smooth and velvety. We ended sharing a Chocolate Caramel Tart. My only issue was being seated next to the entrance where it was drafty whenever a new customer entered. I want to come back and try another selection of small plates. What a wonderful experience

“Was there last night for early dinner and stayed to see the Eagles first TD. Food was fresh and extremely tasty. The vibe here is great. The service was excellent. Our server, Max, was very personable and gives very good recommendations. Max is not the only server like this. It seems to be the culture there. They have a lot of loyal customers. When we left the was a couple looking for a place to eat and watch the game. I quickly recommended Glory. If in Old City and near Chestnut and 2nd give them a try. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Excellent food quality, I tried the “New Bedford Scallop & Shrimp Risotto”, slightly hearty portion, very high quality on the palate and at the same time you can taste the flavors of the natural raw material without being “dirty” with seasonings or anything unnecessary. Cost in the American average of restaurants (the real ones), 35$ risotto. Exorbitant espresso cost, very long but not bad, $6“

“I love this place. They have some of the freshest distinct cocktail that I’ve seen that hasn’t been from a fancy spot or a speakeasy. They usually have a special and or some fresh fish. Backdoor pizza is also outback🤫. Only drawback is whenever me and my lady come in one female barkeep seems to purposely avoid greeting us or serving us. We sit at the bar and she’ll stay away like she playing defense for Manchester United and then when one of her co workers takes care of us she speak to any new patrons that come in and sit near us. Not sure what that could be but otherwise 5 ⭐️’s.“

“Me and My lady went here on a whim. I mean literally Caraba’s next door had over an hour wait and this place caught my eye. It was something different outside of our norm. So we went, the experience was amazing. The service was top notch, actually some of the best customer service I ever had. Was way beyond expectations, can’t say enough good things about Bree our server. She was quick, on top of things and had no problem explaining anything we wanted to know about the large variety of stuff they have on the menu and us never going there before. She talks to you and treats you like you are part of the family and she knows you,very friendly. Now for the food, again fast food but definitely better than expected. Very reasonably priced and good. Everything was fresh and good. The shakes were some the best we ever had. If I could give this place ten stars I would. Has an arcade and mini golf! What more could anyone ask for. Keep it up! Everyone there was friendly and wanted to be there. I told the host when we were walking out this place is excellent. He said that’s what we wanna hear,hope to see you here again next week at the same time Jokingly. This all Says a lot! We will be going back here many times to come. 👌“

We loved every course we had; a unique caesar salad (with grilled broccolini and fennel!), the "world's best hotdog" (a wagyu hotdog on a delicious buttery roll which truly was the world's best hotdog), truffle gnocchi mac 'n cheese, roasted peach confit duck, and barbecued chili lime pork. The S'mores cookie pie dessert was simply amazing! Service was exceptional (Kyle was the ideal server! polite, friendly, gracious and attentive - thank you so much). The staff is welcoming, the dining room is small and cozy, and everything about this local spot is charming. We will return for sure.“

“The place itself was beautiful the host to the waitress was very friendly and didn’t mind a conversation. Everything was delicious to the appetizers to the courses. The only thing that wasn’t great was the NY stripe aged steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium rare but this was the worst chewy steak I ever had. I saved majority of it to see if I could fix it at home but no luck. Just not the best quality steak and was hoping it was due to grill being in the name. They only charged $8 bucks for that little dollop of butter on top of the steak. The best thing we had was the scallops they are to die for! They melt in your mouth and the flavor was fantastic. I would come again just wouldn’t get their steak again.“

“We had our wedding at Hearthside over the weekend and were completely blown away by how amazing the day went. The food was unbelievably delicious and the staff’s attention to detail was incredible! “Yes, but make sure they get your order right, visited today for the first time in a while. My order (Stromboli) wasn’t correct but was acceptable…wife got a club, dry turkey and unevenly made. Manager took $4 off my Stromboli. Service was ok, we left disappointed in the food but not hungry…will be a while before we go back for another visit.“

“I have celiac disease and was at a medical conference in the conference center above Reading Market. Having celiac disease makes dining out that conference is an adventure. The staff were very helpful courteous. The food came quickly and was hot. I would recommend trying a corn dog as well as the poutine.“

They were all very responsive, helpful and accommodating! The day of staff was simply amazing. I did not worry about a thing! The cocktail hour was the best!! My guests are still talking about it! The night was absolutely perfect. The grounds are beautiful and maintained perfectly. There are SOO many great spots for pictures. The Mansion was a fantastic place to get married!“

“I was having the hardest time finding somewhere with Eggs Benedict at 2pm. I told them I had little time and they got me seated and a waitress over to order immediately. Food came quick! The restaurant is clean and well kept. The staff were wonderful. The food was AWESOME. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a better eggs benedict . The servings are huge, I got a jersey boy with spinach and there was a ton of pork roll and spinach on it. Home fries were crispy. Adding this to the top of the breakfast spot list!“

“I was visiting my daughter. We went to South Street, for whatever reason. We decided to get a bite to eat. She suggested Rock'n'Flavors. You talkin about delicious. OHH BOYYY. Finger lickin good. OMG. I think the first time I went I got the Salmon Bowl . I try to get something different each time I go!!! Every time I go to Philly I go to Rock'n'Flavors, if time permits...
