“I have been in south jersey for 3 years now from the Bronx, finally found the best jamaican food. Jerk chicken was hot, fesh and juicy. Rice was fresh and fluffy, mac and cheese was mad with love. Patties were flaky and delicious. I have found my new favorite place. The price was perfect, plenty of chick and rice. and the mac scoop came from a giant hand.... jerk sauce was kickin and sweet, perfect combo.“

“I recently celebrated a milestone birthday with a dinner at Elwood with family and friends. Chef Adam and Jenny were wonderful to work with and the meal was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the venison scrapple amuse bouche. We shared several orders of perogies and cheese platters to kick off the meal, followed by a couple of orders of the tri- tip beef, the sea bass, and the rabbit, which are served family style with a whole host of accompaniments, including exceptional mashed potato that got rave reviews and deserves it's own mention. Several of the diners had never had rabbit, but they all tried it and it was a hit! I already have plans to come with some friends for an afternoon tea, and my husband and I will definitely be back for dinner and/or one of the dining events that Chef Adam hosts. “I cannot say enough wonderful things about Foodwerx and the incredible experience they provided for our daughter’s Christening at our home! From start to finish, their professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional service exceeded all of our expectations.

A special thank you to Roxanne, who was truly amazing throughout the entire planning process! She helped me curate the perfect menu, personally walked through our home to plan the layout and flow of the event, and coordinated everything from the tent and bar to glassware rentals. She was constantly checking in, keeping me updated on deliveries, and making sure every detail was taken care of. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and always just a text or phone call away. Her dedication made the entire planning process feel effortless!

On the day of the Christening, the entire Foodwerx team was outstanding. Everything was beautifully presented, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was impeccable. They even went above and beyond by decorating the food tables with beautiful pink accents to complement the theme of our daughter’s special day. “I love this place. They have some of the freshest distinct cocktail that I’ve seen that hasn’t been from a fancy spot or a speakeasy. They usually have a special and or some fresh fish. Backdoor pizza is also outback🤫. Only drawback is whenever me and my lady come in one female barkeep seems to purposely avoid greeting us or serving us. We sit at the bar and she’ll stay away like she playing defense for Manchester United and then when one of her co workers takes care of us she speak to any new patrons that come in and sit near us. Not sure what that could be but otherwise 5 ⭐️’s.“

Location was very accessible to major highways, ample parking and great staff.

The S'mores cookie pie dessert was simply amazing! Service was exceptional (Kyle was the ideal server! polite, friendly, gracious and attentive - thank you so much). The restaurant is clean and well kept. The staff were wonderful. The food was AWESOME. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a better eggs benedict . The servings are huge, I got a jersey boy with spinach and there was a ton of pork roll and spinach on it. Home fries were crispy. Adding this to the top of the breakfast spot list!“

“Michael and his team have created a wonderful neighborhood gem. My family and I had a variety of menu items and everything was delicious. Great idea to mix fresh mushrooms in with the burger meat. Makes it so flavorful and moist and adds umami richness. The teriyaki chicken , broccoli rabe, lentil soup and patatas bravas were also exceptionally tasty. Believe or not I didn’t order any kombucha. I wasn’t that familiar with it, but Mike had me try a couple samples - strawberry and ginger. Refreshing and delicious. Next time I’ll certainly order it. The dining area is nicely decorated and inviting. And they even have a small kombucha bar with comfortable stools. If you haven’t already give Booch House a try. The prices are very reasonable, too! Right on the main drag in lovely Haddon Heights.“
