“I’ve never felt the need to write a review because there hasn’t been a place worth writing one for me. I’m a big chicken guy and I’ve been to 35+ chicken spots all over north Jersey and NONE compares to what I had at this spot. Chicken and waffles on wheels is the real deal! I had the dry rub Lemon pepper tenders w a plain waffle and wow… freshly cooked. Great dude. 10/10 hands down“

“I’ve been coming to this small business for about 3/4 years now and although it’s just a taco truck I know enough that all I have to do is pick up my order and eat it at my house or enjoy it with my partner at the nearby park. I’m not gonna make a review about the “environment” of a taco truck and make them feel obligated to my seating needs for that I’ll just to a RESTAURANT it’s a perfect grab and go. The staff is very friendly and hard working people, for as busy as they get their customer service is consistently great. I want to mention how hard it is to find authentic AL PASTOR TACOS that are supposed to be made like how they make it here. The tortilla is always fresh, the meat is seasoned perfectly and you can tell by the color on the meat and the salsa verde is also perfect if you are into spicy fresh homemade salsa just the right texture not watery like others that I’ve had around the area.“

“This is one of my favorite places to eat in Astoria. The food is excellent, so flavorful and fresh. The service is always so friendly as well. I always come here when I’m craving halal and I’ll always recommend it to others.

“Their lamb/beef gyro was really good. The bowl was stuffed! The wait was a bit long though, almost 25+ minutes just to get to order, and sometimes other people (I assume related) just cut in to throw in 5 or 10 other orders. The food came out very fast at least and I enjoyed my bowl. I see they have an online ordering site, so I may try that next time to reduce the wait. Would love to try the other items.“

“I have been going to Tommy's food truck for the past 15 years, and I have to say that I have never had a meal that wasn't short of great!! From the grilled Chicken Caesar wrap to the Bacon cheeseburger ( On my cheat days of course;)). This food truck brings a taste of home to the streets of the West side. Tommy, and Armando treat every customer as if they were family. In a city with many food carts and trucks this is one place that's a must!!!“

“My favorite is the tofu bowl. Tofu is usually a hit or miss for me but this is one of the few places they do it soo well!! I've had the other bowls as well which are good too but the tofu is always the best.

The portions are too large for one person tho. While I've noticed them lowering portions sizes theyve been amping prices up which makes me sad cus this is truly a go to treat for me as a college student (⁠ ⁠；⁠∀⁠；⁠). Maybe diff size bowls?

Finally I REALLY feel the amount of fats and oils I eat here (smth I usually don't feel that hard when eating out) which is y I don't go too often.“

The staff were kind and worked quickly to serve over 200 students. Our students were happy with their tacos and burritos. The owner was very accommodating and met all of our needs.Administratively, I was very impressed with Bro-Ritos. We made A LOT of requests and changes and had to work through the nuances of getting a new vendor approved, but Bro-Ritos was always responsive and on top of it. “This food truck happened to be parked less than a block from the hotel we were staying at and it was after midnight and nearly everything was closed except for the McDonalds and a pizza joint. Hankering for some fresh food, we gave this food truck a try and we were very happy we did. The food was fresh and very delicious! And the prices were much more reasonable than what we found in other Mexican restaurants in midtown. We went back 3 more times during our 10 day stay in NYC. Highly recommended.“
