I have to start off by saying our waitress, Monica, was wonderful ! She had such an amazing personality, was super friendly and helpful. She gave so many great suggestions of other places to try during our stay which was SO appreciated and helpful. Also, the food by Chef Ian was absolutely wonderful! I had the pan seared chicken which was to die for and the meatball appetizer tasted wonderful. Thank you for the wonderful experience and if we’re in the area again sometime, we will be sure to come here again!“

From the moment my friend and I arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile by the maître d’, setting the tone for a truly special evening. The ambience is vibrant yet calm, with a stylish outdoor patio that adds a refreshing touch of open air and relaxation.
Sofia, our server, was absolutely phenomenal—polite, well-mannered, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful. She helped me choose the perfect drink, even bringing a wine sample that turned out to be a hit. Her descriptions were spot-on and made the decision effortless.
The food was outstanding. My friend’s Pre-Fix dinner was beautifully presented—her shrimp dish looked like a work of art, and the lime pie was perfectly balanced with just the right touch of sweetness and acidity. Sofia’s explanation of the chicken’s subtle sweetness was accurate and made the dish even more enjoyable.
Now, about the burger—I've had burgers all over, but this one was next-level. Cooked well-done (just how I like it), yet still moist and packed with flavor. The layers of pickled onions, Gruyère cheese, and sauce were absolute perfection.

“Came here for lunch and it’s honestly a great place. Big table with plenty of room, some half-private cabins. During lunchtime, there is jazz background music. The place is a bit noisy.

The Caesar salad was made with fresh anchovies. And the cacio e pepe pasta was also really well made.

The waiters and the staff are very friendly. There is a special room for hanging your coats in case you’re coming in on a cold day.“

“Our visit to the Grand Salon at the Baccarat Hotel for brunch was delightful. As soon as you enter the Grand Salon, you are taken by the majestic appearance of the room, filled with a variety of decorations, including sculptures, crystal glasses, and books all over the place. The Christmas decorations were cute and memorable.

We started off with the Lime and Ricotta Pancake and the Baccarat Omelette along with two small pots of tea (Queen's Guard and Golden Glow). The Pancake was perfect cooked - slightly crisp on the outside and extremely soft and fluffy on the inside. The Omelette was delicious amd well plated, even though the portion size was a bit small (add 1-2 more eggs!). We then had the Hojicha tea and the Silver Needle, both of which were excellent. The almond croissant was a bit small and had a fusion of flavors (it had chocolate and some essence that we couldn't pin down).
Nonetheless, the experience was memorable and makes for a nice, romantic brunch.“

“Our room was comfortable, spacious, and light with lovely retro-mod furnishings. The service team for both the room and the lobby restaurant were top notch - and our waiter even entertained my nine year old with magic tricks! The Central Park south location was perfect for us since it was only a 10 minute walk to the playground and space to run around. And guess what - when I realized after check out that I’d left something behind, the hotel staff retained it in their lost and found and even sent it to me. Fantastic service like this in every area is a rarity these days, and it’s so nice to have a stay with a hotel that takes it to heart. We look forward to our next visit!“

We went on a weekend two years ago. Late post but here we go. Honestly you pay for the ambiance and views which is okay with us. Appetizers & food are Portion a very small.

Positives: We had a great time. Amazing views. They singed happy birthday and provided the dessert. Amazing views. The waitress answered all our questions. We were pleased with her suggestions & Her Excellent customer service.

Negative: we were 3 people not a large group. We purchase a Groupon of $35 that was worth for $60. We were surprised they imposed a $30 gratuity that it is not stated anywhere or in the fine rules of the Groupon. It is not fair at all. Even though we plan to tip our waitress and spend more $$$ on food. I would appreciate if the manager can contact me and explain this part to us. I mentioned it on my review to avoid Anyone inconvenience so you better come prepare with the cash.

The lady in the front entrance didn’t have an smile or friendly aptitude. She was neutral and forgot about us. We were waiting for a table. It didn’t manner because we found a good corner with the best views. We were lucky this day.“
