My water glass was always replenished and they included some additions that were not expected and delicious. The food was the big star of the evening. “Casa Lever may be my favorite expression of Park Avenue: architecturally serious, commercially consequential, and somehow much more playful than the traditional power lunch establishment. Lever House itself is one of my favorite classic buildings in New York, a 1952 modernist landmark whose glass-and-steel design still looks almost impossibly sharp against this stretch of Midtown. For my money, the design relative to the location is unbeatable if you prefer great twentieth-century architecture to new construction.

Park Avenue from the high 40s through the upper 50s is the highest velocity investment corridor in the world: information, fundraising, and transactions all moving through an extraordinarily dense piece of Manhattan. Third Point once headquartered here before moving to Hudson Yards, which I always thought was incredibly cool and a particularly fitting choice for Dan Loeb. I’ve experienced Casa Lever on several different occasions, including meeting a friend outside for a beer after work and, on another visit, having lunch inside.

Inside, everything feels considered, from the curved architecture and sculptural ceiling to the wonderfully restrained Casa Lever typography. The Warhol portraits were the masterstroke when I knew the restaurant: Giorgio Armani, the Shah of Iran, Farah Pahlavi, Aretha Franklin, and Dennis Hopper were among the faces looking out over the dining area. There is something deliciously apt about dining beneath that Warhol pantheon on Park Avenue, where financiers, media titans, and dynastic fortunes have long crossed paths with the people shaping fashion, advertising, and culture.

Later, on a completely separate occasion, I returned for dinner with a larger group and remember sitting around a big round table near the banquettes. Across lunch, dinner, and drinks, what stayed with me was how polished the service was and how effortlessly chic the whole experience felt. There is a more creative, feminine energy here than at many of Midtown’s harder-edged power restaurants, sophisticated without becoming stiff and glamorous without feeling theatrical.

The prices are pure Park Avenue, but so is the proposition: extraordinary architecture, extraordinary geography, and one of the coolest places in New York to bring someone when you want the city itself to participate in the evening. Casa Lever feels timeless because it never seems to chase relevance; the building, the design, and the people passing through already provide enough electricity. Few establishments capture this particular intersection of commerce, taste, history, and social theater quite as well.“

“My husband and I celebrated our wedding here in October and were absolutely thrilled with the every aspect of the experience. We worked with Brittany to plan the event, and she was brilliant. She worked out every detail for us and we could tell we were in good hands every step of the way. The staff, from the head of operations to the managers to the bartenders, servers, and porters were fantastic. Throwing a wedding reception is stressful no matter what, but we didn’t need to think about anything but enjoying the evening with our guests — everything else was taken care of and executed perfectly. The staff made our guests feel welcomed and took incredible care of us. We can’t recommend throwing an event at Rosevale enough!!“

From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the city skyline and the perfectly curated music that set the tone for such an incredible evening.They even have a hidden speakeasy-style room that adds such a fun and unique touch to the experience, also with an incredible view.

We went with the chef’s tasting menu, and every single course was truly unforgettable. Each dish was beautifully presented, incredibly thoughtful, and packed with amazing flavors.

But what really takes Centurion to another level is the service. The entire staff was exceptional, attentive and welcoming without ever being intrusive. They took the time to walk us through each course, explaining the ingredients and flavors with much genuine passion.

An extraordinary experience from start to finish. We absolutely loved our evening and are already looking forward to coming back!

The interior of the bar is so dope with the neon light with television for sports. They also have a DJ booth for music. I will recommend people to check this place and enjoy their time in the scenery!“

It’s typically really ambiant and lovely and feels like an old speakeasy. However, something was off with service last night; went here with my date and we planned to order oysters and cocktails. A (bartender/server?) was unnecessarily unkind to my date. We had requested change seating and he simply sat down and he asked me one question about how I’ve been and she cut him off, telling us to scan QR code and that she would give us one second. If the tone hadn’t been so sharp, we might have stayed anyways. We left right then without ordering anything because it wasn’t an intimate, enjoyable vibe at that point and with the prices being so high, the whole point is the atmosphere.“

“An Amazing Experience Thanks to Blanca!
I have to start by saying that our experience at Pasaporte in Astoria almost didn't happen! When we first arrived, we honestly considered leaving. The hostess made us feel a bit uncomfortable, simply because the table we wanted was supposedly unavailable.
But then came Blanca, and what a difference one person can make!
Blanca was absolutely AMAZING! Her kindness, professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality completely turned our experience around. She was the reason we decided to stay, and from beginning to end, her service was truly FIRST CLASS, 20/10! She is the kind of person who makes you want to return to a restaurant, not just for the food, but for the way she makes you feel.
And speaking of the food, EVERYTHING was spectacular! The croquettes were delicious, the steak chaufa rice was incredible, and the roasted chicken was absolutely divine! We even saw a fish dish being served at the table next to ours that looked so amazing we've already decided that's what we're ordering next time!
We left extremely happy with the food and, most importantly, grateful to Blanca for turning a disappointing first impression into such a wonderful dining experience.
Pasaporte has a true gem on its team, and her name is BLANCA! Employees like her deserve recognition because exceptional service truly makes all the difference.

“The staff is nice and how can you not like a 91 year old man? The Mai Thai and zombie paired well with the food and the decor of the restaurant. The pu pu platter was delicious, my favorite was either the shrimp toast or Hawaii beef. For the main course we got the lobster soma and lychee pineapple duck, the lobster comes in this tasty slightly spicy brown sauce and the duck was sweet but not overwhelming, the meat was tender and plentiful. My mother had come here as child around when they first opened, since I just moved up here within the year my mother came to and said we had to come here, I’m glad we did. I’d definitely come back!“
