“I love this place. I normally go there in the morning, so this review is pretty much based on the bagels or bagel sandwiches I get. But they are great. The bagels are made there. They're awesome. They make the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches even more delicious. Their coffee is good and the staff is friendly. I can only imagine their Latino food is just as good. Street parking is limited but that's the only thing that is even remotely negative and that's not their fault! I would say if you try them, you won't be disappointed.“

“Stopped by for lunch on a Friday and had a really enjoyable experience. It's a small, cozy spot with beautiful Frida Kahlo artwork that gives it a lot of personality. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice bonus, and everything came out pretty quickly.

The passionfruit margarita was excellent, fruity without being overly sweet, and you could still taste the tequila. The street corn completely stole the show, simple, flavorful, and easily my favorite thing I ordered.

I also had the bistec and al pastor tacos. They were decent, but a little underseasoned for my taste, and the bistec was slightly dry. Salsa helped bring them to life.

I noticed several people dining alone, so this felt like a great spot for solo lunches, and it's just minutes from Central Park.

Everything here was priced more affordably compared to any of the other Dominican spots on 138th street and in the neighborhood. Big plates. Also, they cater to the blue collar crowd. Lunch food is ready by 9:30AM. Perfect lunch spot if you're a city worker, construction, etc.“

“A true authentic Dominican experience. This is the closest flavors to the food I grew up with, compared to what I've had at home and from visiting family in Dominican Republic. No gate-keeping! I want to make sure they get all the love and recognition they deserve. What incredible food, the options rotate daily, they don't have a menu. Not even sure if they have a phone, so just pop in and get your fix! The lady working the counter is incredibly sweet and you can tell cares for her patrons and the community.
