“Houlihan's is definitely one of my go to dinner or lunch places on a regular basis. I always ask for Colleen as her customer service skills are an A+++. She is pleasant, knowledgeable, and makes great recommendations. Besides the made to order food; the amazing french onion soup, yummy chicken wings, perfect salmon, prime rib sandwich, just like homemade pot roast, just to name a few good foods, Colleen is a main reason why I have been a regular for so many years. A shout out also to Al, one of the managers who is also a staple at the Holmdel Houlihan's. He is a true customer service person and he always greets you with a big smile. As a matter of fact I am going to Houlihan's tonight for dinner and have already requested my favorite waitress Colleen. Now what should I order tonight....mmmmm“

Although I visit there often and it has become like a second home where you visit family when you enter, the NYE celebration last night was so fun! The pre fix menu was full of options and the pricing was so fair. The drinks are always served cold and well prepared. Renee and Courtney were up beat and on point and made the evening even more enjoyable. It would not have mattered though who was behind the bar as the rest of the team there are all amazing and professional! The holiday decor is a whole vibe—the owners and staff really went all out to provide a warm, inviting experience for their customers. We are always greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. He took the whole crew to Murphy’s Tavern with the promise that they’d get a taste of a local legend: a good old-fashioned speakeasy tucked away in the basement of a house, right in the heart of a residential neighborhood. “Been coming here since it's opening. It's a good place to have a delicious sandwich with a cold draft and enjoy the music of talented musicians.

This year, the service and kitchen staff are back in sync. The menu choices are perfect and the food is very good. Sometimes when it's a busy night, the bartenders also work as wait staff and take table orders for food and drinks. Service is slower so expect to wait on those nights.

We enjoy Taco Night Tuesdays and Open Mic. We also love Trivia Nights and the live music on the weekends. We hope to see this wonderful local establishment stay around for a long time! It would be even better if they could expand the building. Perhaps another floor with a wrap around balcony to take in the amazing water view. Overall, we highly recommend this fine establishment. “My friend groups loves coming here! The decor is so fun with trinkets and quotes all over the walls. You are bound to find something new every time you go. There are a few areas that you can hang out in - the chill outdoor patio, the indoor tent where you can enjoy the music, and the indoor bar area where a lot of the action is so you can really hang out based on your mood. The free pizza ticket with every drink is the cherry on top. The line can be quite long but it does move fast and will be worth it in the end!“
