“We dined at Robert’s for the first time. We were celebrating a relative’s birthday. The food was outrageous! The appetizers were amazing as were all of the entrees. I had chicken stuffed with mushrooms and I can honestly say that it was the best chicken I have ever eaten. The portions were plentiful. We had a large selection of desserts to choose from at the end of the meal. I chose one particular dessert but before mine came out, I asked if I could exchange it for one that someone in our party had in front of her. No problem. They accommodated me and it was beyond delicious. Also, the staff was very attentive during our whole meal. They could not have been any better. The only negative was the fact that there was also another birthday celebration going on at the same time and it was so noisy that we couldn’t hear each other talk. Despite that, I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this fabulous restaurant.“

“Very chill family owned and operated North Jersey tavern and steakhouse. It's cash-only, but there is an ATM up front near the bar. The burgers and steaks are the main attraction, but there are plenty of seafood and poultry options that are delicious. “Wait staff was friendly and you were not pushed to finish dinner. We had the shrimp po' boy and the grilled ribeye open face steak sandwich. I asked for my French fries to be extra crispy and they were delicious. After driving for almost 5 hours, sitting in rush hour traffic and construction, this diner made our day and on a really great note.“

“We absolutely love the Glen Rock Inn and have been coming here for while, but this was our first time hosting a larger event—and they exceeded every expectation. We celebrated our son’s first birthday here, and the entire experience was incredible from start to finish.

I had a burger, onion rings and a chocolate milk shake. All 3 were delicious. My husband had the hot pastrami and French fries. Both were excellent. We highly recommend.“

“My husband and I went on Valentine's Day. For 30 years I have been hearing about it and never went thinking it wasn't my cup of tea. Well its not but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Food was better than I expected but we were not there for the food. We were there for the spectacle and show. Medieval Times delivered. The horses, the jousting, the falcon , the pageantry was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Service was warm, welcoming and efficient. Definitely recommend going at least once!“

My husband had the classic burger with French fries and it was huge and cooked to perfection. He said it was juicy and full of flavor with all the toppings. We both liked that the French fries came in a metal cup container because it kept the temperature longer which allowed us to eat them warm. I chose the green tea iced tea and thought it was perfectly not too sweet. Hubby got plain iced tea and it was unsweetened and terrific too. Prices are comparable to the area with tip just under $60.“

“I haven’t been to The Barn since my kids were young, but we visited Abma’s farm today for the hayride with my daughter and granddaughter and stopped at The Barn for dinner after. What a delight! The staff were so welcoming and child-friendly. I have never been anywhere as child-friendly in Bergen County. Their outside seating area is perfect for families with young children in tow.
