“Jackie Smalls – My New Favorite Brunch Spot!

I don’t usually go out for brunch because most places serve the same old eggs and pancakes, but Jackie Smalls completely changed my mind. This has to be my favorite breakfast/brunch spot I’ve tried!

I ordered the Freekeh Bowl, Grains of Nazareth, and French Toast, and every dish was incredibly fulfilling and well-balanced. But let me tell you—the French Toast was hands down the best I’ve ever had. They use sourdough bread infused with rose, which adds such a unique flavor. The whipped cream on the side was unbelievably fresh (unlike anything I’ve had before!), and the maple syrup had just the right amount of sweetness.

If you haven’t been to Jackie Smalls yet, you need to give it a try. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!“

“We went to Rola’s for the first time Saturday night and it will definitely not be our last time. The place is so cozy perfect for a date night or for dinner with family. The food is amazing! We tried the Rolas appetizer spread platter delicious, the lentil soup delicious, the kufta kebab delicious, the lamb chops delicious! Everything was perfect! We can’t wait to be back. “Was looking for Mediterranean food for my wife and I on a casual evening out and we were not disappointed. Super friendly/helpful staff, wonderful atmosphere, and a wonderful selection of food. My wife and I got a bowl and we both loved it. If you are looking for a counter style Mediterranean place to eat this is a fantastic choice! All the food is made fresh. My wife ordered pita chips and falafel on the side and both were made fresh when we ordered. The pita chips were thick and super crispy. The falafel was incredibly moist too. Highly recommend!“

“The most amazing and delicious Turkish Breakfast I ever had. Not only in New Jersey area. I’ve tried lots of places in the Tri-State area and it’s definitely 5 Stars. Everything is homemade. There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.“

“Huge shout out to Fat Moe’s Mediterranean Food on Rte 23 in Butler. I placed a large order consisting of kebab platter, shawarma cheesesteak sandwich, mixed grill platter, tabouleh salad, stuffed grape leaves, baba ghanoush, cheese borek, and basbousa, accompanied by pickles and sauces,for delivery for 4pm. Not only were they punctual but the food was delicious and reminded me of my days in Egypt where I grew up. Furthermore, at around 5 pm I got a call from Moe, the owner to ask me whether I was satisfied with the order and to let him know how he could make it better… That goes way beyond quality service !! I highly recommend his restaurant and wish him the best of luck !👏👏👏“

“If you're looking for the best Koobideh kebab in New Jersey and New York, Zaffron Bloom is the place to go. Every time I visit, I'm amazed by the deliciousness of the food, especially their Tahdig. The Olivieh salad and Spanish yogurt are also quite tasty. Since it's a family-run business, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. I love this place and highly recommend their kebabs!??“

“Don't underestimate this place. I've been to 5 star restaurants and in my opinion this eatery shares some of the same qualities that I admire in upscale restaurants: consistency and deliciousness.

The people behind the register are friendly but quiet. I go here during week when I want something that is fresh and high in protein. They provide you with generous portions so if you workout and need a solid amount of protein and carbs this is my favorite in the area. I enjoy eating here more than Chipotle, higher quality meat with bolder flavors and they serve uniform portions of chicken. They don't cut corners here.

The chicken platter is my favorite and I highly recommend it to people wanting to try something new. With the chicken platter I enjoy the fresh zesty flavors of onions, tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and tzatziki sauce on the side. I recommend ordering an extra sauce with your order. WIth the colder months I'd also recommend the their lentil soup. It was really tasty!

Side note: I don't recommend the cheese burger. It's not their specialty. Stick with the chicken platter.“
