“Went here on a spur of the moment random type vibe for our date night. Atmosphere was nice, dj played good music. The only real issue was there was no wait staff when we were there. Bartender was polite, but never checked on us after our meal and drinks were served. He kept checking on who we believe was his son, who was in the same room as us however. Never asked if we wanted more drinks, how was our food, etc...it was basically empty when we arrived, but got somewhat busy by the time we were ready to leave. Had to track him down for the check. Would go again, but if no wait staff appear present we won't stay.“
“Went Easter Sunday. Table was ready when we got there. Our server 'Alex' - she was the best. Kept an eye on us to see if we needed anything. Food absolutely out of this world Nicely spaced between appetizers and main meal. Gave us time to digest. Absolutely must come here.“
“Having traveled to France often, this took me back to a little cafe in Paris. After starting with the beef tartare and the fois gras, I decided it was going too well to pass up on the salmon. Everything exceeded expectations. I’ve lived here for two years and am upset that I have missed out on this place for that long! Will definitely be back.“
“This is my second visit to The Dinky Bar and Grill in Princeton which offers great views of the campus. We were going to see a play at McCarter and it is so convenient being across the street. The Dinky has an intimate vibe. Being the original Train Depot the feel of the place is still a train depot which I love. The menu is limited but certainly enough to choose from. There are shareable plates as well full entrees. Very good food and drinks. Our server Kayla was amazing. She needs to be recognized because she was extraordinary. A very busy place pre theater but Kayla never stopped smiling Great experience all around. Will definitely be going again.“
“The food was so good I didn’t have time to take a pic! Got the crispy chicken, on the small plate menu. Flavor was amazing! The smashed potatoes were the perfect amount of crunchy! And the creme brulee was perfection! Happy hour is 4-6, food and drinks half off. If you’re more on a budget go then!!Dietary restrictions: They had gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, and vegan options!!!Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible and easy to maneuver around.“
“Theresa’s has been a favorite in town restaurant for our family for many years. Whenever we dine at Theresa’s, and she is working, we request to sit in her section. Sometimes, we have waited additional time just to have her as our server. She is the most knowledgeable, competent and courteous waitress I have ever had as a server in any restaurant in which I have dined. Theresa is attentive and observant. She is the best of the best!“
“I came here to meet a friend from the philly area… we were pleasantly surprised by the food, service and prices! The signature drinks could use A LITTLE work… but that’s really me just nitpicking. We both enjoyed our food and experience and found a new place to meet and escape the philly traffic!“
“Service was excellent and food was very good. Strip side of Porterhouse was a little too fatty but the filet side was tender and fabulous. We will definitely go again because I the perfect restaurant to celebrate a holiday or special occasion . Also, offering Mac and cheese without the lobster is smart and it was creamy and delicious“
“In a world full of Olive Gardens and Macaroni Grills, it's refreshing to see a thriving locally owned and operated old world Italian restaurant. This area has coined the phrase Trenton-style Italian , but the cuisine, ambiance, and family style approach is familiar to all us Italians from the tri-state area. This evening was sort of a small family reunion for our group so we got to try several things. Most notably the chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta marinara, pasta prima, meatloaf (tonight's special), and a cauliflower salad with provolone and anchovy (you can customize this) and tomato salad. Everything was excellent and I especially appreciate that all the tomato sauce was low acidity made from local Jersey tomatoes. They have a full bar with very competent bar tenders. They executed my standard Titos martini, extra dry, up with a twist to perfection at least 3 times. There's a menu, but you're best off just listening to what the waiter tells you is on for tonight, then customize from there. Or try and go with a local who's been. The servers are excellent and a riot to chat with. They're very attentive. I just mentioned how I might be craving another cocktail and boom, it just arrives and I don't even recall having to ask. Highly recommend.“
