“Ribs, yellow rice and black beans were good. Their cheesecake is not that great. At first glance I was disappointed at the size of the slice they give you for $5.95 but when I tasted it I was further disappointed by the taste. Will definitely get the food again...the cheesecake...not so much!“

“When I used to work in the Union area, one of our favorite stops for a hot meal was Burnet BBQ. Today I had work in Union again, remembered Burnet BBQ, but it turns out that store II was closer to my location. Turns out that the food is as great as the original, and lots of take out orders and constant rotation of customers showed lots of people agreed. Got the 1/2 ribs, which would fill up a truck driver, and the counter staff were very nice. Go there when you re really hungry, and see if you can finish all that food. Recommended“

“Excellent option for those interested in healthy/real food. The guys there are really cool. The proteins were delicious and their spice blends are really good. Even the steamed broccoli was seasoned well. Their garlic sauce is made using garlic, vinegar, and hot sauce; very good for those of us interested in eating clean. Would definitely recommend!“

“Small place ran by a lovely couple with all the signature classic Romanian dishes! This place is a complete hidden gem! The eggplant salad starter is just like my grandmother and mother make, the meats are excellent - portion sizes are huge and everything tastes like a solid Romanian place on my visits to Romania. The star today was the Papanasi - a classic Romanian cheese donut! One of the best I had ever! Highly recommended! Will definitely come again!“

“My second time visiting jollof & grill and I brought my friend with me. We were happily greeted upon entering and even got to meet the owner. She’s the sweetest person ever 🩷We ordered the beef suya combo and it was delicious. The jollof rice was flavorful. I love the raw onions and cabbage that comes with it. The beef suya was also cooked to perfection. The plantains were ripe and tasty as well. & Can we talk about portions? You get a lot of food for the price. I shared half w/ my grandma and she enjoyed her food as well. Will definitely be returning in the future!“

“I had such a great experience at Columbia BBQ Restaurant & Bar! I stopped in during my lunch break and everything was absolutely delicious.

I ordered the shrimp in garlic sauce, which was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. It came with yellow rice, pinto beans, and fresh avocado, and the whole plate was seasoned just right — comforting, filling, and fresh. I also had a passion fruit margarita with sugar on the rim, and it was AMAZING — sweet, tropical, and super refreshing.

My friend had the beef steak with onions, also served with yellow rice, pinto beans, and avocado, and he loved it. The steak was tender and well-seasoned. He paired it with a gin and tonic, which was made perfectly.

What really made the visit special was the owner, who personally served us. She was so friendly and attentive, and you could tell she really cares about her customers and the food.

This was the first large event I was hosting at my new house, and I was worried I bit off more than I could chew, but jersey Joe’s made everything so much easier for me. Taking advantage of the people and technically 3 times the fee of a larking ticket you’ll get from the Montclair police dept. Robbery for sure and taking advantage of the state to charge high fees. Be aware of people of the scam in this parking spot ..“
