“The coffee & food were amazing as they always are, but I came in on a pretty slow Thursday afternoon and had to go up multiple times to the front to order my food despite the other 2-3 patrons there getting waited on. I found that odd, and found my server to be a little rude when taking my orders (no eye contact, no pleasantries) whereas she was perfectly pleasant to everyone else in the cafe. It won’t ruin my chances of going back but it was disappointing since I felt like I had found a nice new coffee shop to do work in.“

I’ve been a true fan of this restaurant ever since I’ve moved up to Bloomfield a few years ago and I always bring my friends and family to this restaurant. Whether it’s Brunch or dinner, the food never disappoints! Hence why I thought it was a good idea to ask for them to cater for my bday! Anthony and his team were very accommodating and brought out the rest of trays as the previous ones started emptying out which I greatly appreciated due to the lack of space we were given at the venue. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef empanadas, broccoli rabe, mixed greens salad, Mac and cheese, chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta vodka, meatballs and potato croquettes. All dishes were excellent and everyone was excited to pack the leftovers home as well! “Great meal and overall time here! Our server was super nice and friendly/helpful he really guided us through the menu and gave some great suggestions. The restaurant itself is super nice and cozy while being spacious, but oh man the food is unreal. We had the meatballs (so big and flavorful and smothered in sauce), the mushroom pizza which was loaded with mushrooms, super flavorful and unique. Also got the vodka pizza which was really great, we got extra vodka sauce on the side so we could really drown it and loved it. My friend got the gluten free and she said it's the first gluten free bread she's had that actually tastes like real bread and loved it.“

When I went I ordered the sausage egg and cheese biscuit, the flavors were great it was hot and the cheese was perfectly melty with a to die for biscuit. As my sweet I ordered the cannoli and on the first bite I wanted to cry. The shell was perfectly flaky and crisp, with a creamy, fluffy, and a bit tangy (in the best way possible) filling. The sandwiches are all fresh, healthy, and satisfying. The coffee is excellent. I love the samples you can try as you wait in line. Had to purchase the cardamon bun after tasting the sample. It is a unique pastry I haven't seen elsewhere, and it is the perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and crunchy. Going back soon to try the baguette which looks delicious.“

“Tried this place after searching for some of the best croissants. You can walk down church with your eyes closed and the smell will guide you right inside. The gentleman who greeted us was super friendly and welcoming. We got a couple plain croissants and an almond croissant just because it looked delicious. We got to work on the almond croissant the minute we walked out of the door. I've never been to France but I can't imagine almond croissants getting much better than this. Wonderful texture and a delicious flavor. The plain croissants were also on point. That almond one was the star though. I'll be back for more of those and definitely to try some other goodies. “Consistently my favorite cookie shop, they make the best rainbow cookies (each individually coated in chocolate.) The brownies are great if you want a chocolate fix, I especially love the salted caramel brownies. They also have great hamentashen and Italian cookies if you want something lighter.I haven't found anything here that I haven't loved except maybe the cookie/brownie. I prefer brownies to be gooey and chewy, while I prefer chocolate chip cookies to be thin and crispy. When you combine them you get something that's neither and it just doesn't do it for me (though if these types of combos are your thing I hear they're very good here.)“

You walk in and aside from the squad of friendly workers at both main counters you'll first encounter the amazing breads (and treats). All the shapes, styles and sizes your carb-loving heart desires will be found on one of these racks. Expertly made... dense, sturdy, flavorful, with a mighty crust (that'll give your Fixodent a workout!). Take a few steps towards the 'back' and now you're at the deli and it's overflowing with options. Each item looks bewitching and alluring and before you can even finish saying, "A pound of..." - somehow it's already sliced and bagged and the guy is waiting on the next item you need. (Maybe it's that luscious square of eggplant parm that they've intentionally left "posed" on top of the spatula or the Italian hot dog platter or that mountain of sauteed broccoli rabe that you know it's going to have that perfect 'bite'.) And as soon as you get home you immediately start crafting what's to be a most perfect sandwich with their seeded semolina, fresh ball of mootz (so creamy and delectable), and a few other odds-and-ends you snagged. Thank goodness this town is big enough for more than one amazing Italian deli and I don't have to pick which is my all-time fave.“

“This place is a gem! We came here because our initial plan of eating at tribos periperi fell through when they were suddenly closed on Saturday (maps said it was open). I had heard of Indian inspired burgers and fried chicken before in Manhattan, so we decided to try this place out.\\n\\nThe place has 1 table by the window, then a bar with some chairs along the counter, and finally an area with several more tables.\\n\\nYou order at the counter, they'll ask your name, so I thought it was self pick-up, but in our case they brought the food to us.\\n\\nWe weren't sure what sauce to use on the chicken wings so we asked about the masala and the walla, as those two sounded the most special/distinct. They let us taste the sauces and we went with the walla, it's super good!\\n\\nThey didn't take long to prepare our lamb burger, beef burger (medium cooked ?) and our chicken wings, along with a side order of fries and a side order of sweet potato tots.\\n\\nThe burgers were delicious, juicy but not too messy, with a very nicely cooked thin patty full of flavor. The fries and tots were both incredible too, couldn't stop eating them! The tots are more interesting, but I do prefer the fries because well made fries are always the best side.\\n\\nThe chicken wings were small but packed with flavor (we also did get 7 instead of 6, probably because of the size? I thought the service was very good in terms of attentiveness. The food we got was flat bread pizza for appetizer, pepperoni with hot honey was delicious. The burger tasted great cooked perfectly when I ordered a medium, presentation was nice as I ordered a salad instead of French fries. Most importantly they had Aqua Pana for water.
