“I had heard from my son and a friend about this restaurant and decided to check it out, with a friend. I ordered the fried chicken wings, candied yams, collards and Mac & cheese. My friend had the rasta pasta and j*** chicken. everything was delicious. We will be returning to sample more dishes.“

“I absolutely love Lite & Soul. Great quality!Their food is delicious and fresh, and the portions are generous, in my opinion. I've tried a few different entrées. You really can't go wrong with whatever you decide. My husband loves it too! This allows me a night off in my kitchen. lol“
“Had the catfish poboy at uptown night Market! They told me 15 minutes was done in 15 minutes. It was a large fried catfish filet and it was perfectly crispy. I think the tartar sauce may have needed a little more salt but overall great experience. Reminded me of Louisiana“

“I used “The Weekend Restaurant “ to cater my sister’s repast. I must say I never eat or go to a soul food restaurant because I’m from the south and I know and cook good soul food. The food at the repast was outstanding and everyone there talked about how good the food tasted. She delivered, set everything up, and was on time! I commend the professionalism and hospitality. Thank you and may God continue to keep you at the top of you profession! Amazing job!!!“

“Good afternoon seen u on Tik Tok 2 week's ago so my Wife took me for Father's Day 6/18/23 and We enjoyed it so much I had the Steak Bae and Wifey had Salmon Mac and Cheese and Steak and cheese Egg Rolls Everything was Amazing 10 out 10 Best I've ever had in my life, And The employees who work there are the Greatest and The DJ was on the money! “This is by far the best BBQ l have found in NJ since moving here 3 years ago. Jersey doesn’t have much good BBQ but this place is fantastic. The Brisket is juicy & flavorful, the mac-n-cheese is so tasty, creamy & cheesy. The jerk chicken is fantastic. It’s only a take out spot though. Wish they offered seating.“
