“It was our honor and privilege to be a part of a dear friend's B'day Bash last Sunday at Kochi. Dining at Kochi was one of the, if not THE, most memorable experience ever. We were totally floored by the exquisite food - and service - provided by Chef and Owner Mr. Jebu Matthew and his team. From the cool berry drink and amazing classic South Indian appetizers, to the numerous - and for us, many new - items that kept appearing in front of us almost magically during the main meal, served in the traditional South Indian style (on banana leaves), right through the delectable halwa and delicious jaggery rice payasam (desserts), we could feel the love and careful attention with which each item was prepared and pride with which each item was served. Plus, being served by Mr. Matthew himself was, in and of itself, humbling. He patiently explained the intricacies of each delicacy which helped us understand the complexity of the cuisine's varied flavors. To be actually seated (for hours) and served at the table greatly enhanced the culinary experience. We have rarely, if ever, felt that we have consumed a feast - but now, can proudly say so - because of Mr. Matthew and our experience at Kochi. “Stopped for lunch with hubs and friends. We we're looking to share a pizza, this is NOT that place. Yes, personal size for dine in. We opted for sandwiches. 2 ordered the roast pork, broccoli rabe, sharp provolone and both finished and raved how delicious 😋 Other 2 of us ordered the cheesesteak with LTO, red wine vinegar and olive oil, I added light mayo. The rolls these sandwiches were served were fantastic 😋 The sammies were NOT "packed" with fillings like a cheesesteak joint. Nicely presented with homemade potato chips. Quality of ingredients is huge because I can't eat a lot. The red wine vinegar and olive oil was top notch. I use red wine vinegar almost daily 😋 I would definitely go back for the same meal, about 1hr from my home and worth the trip 😋”

“Went to Mission BBQ at Hamilton Marketplace in Hamilton, NJ on a Friday about 4 pm. Not many people there but more came in as we were eating. We were greeted as we came in. Guy behind the counter was patient with us as we decided what to order. We ordered barbecued shrimp (8 pieces in the order) and salmon ( a nice sized portion). We also ordered a salad to share (nice sized portion). Food came quickly and we really enjoyed it. A server named Justice was in the dining room and was very attentive. Overall, we really enjoyed it and plan to return.”

Honestly, they have the best curry goat and oxtails I have ever had; and the seasonings are perfect. I will be going here every time I come to Jersey, and that's a promise. You have to go there!”
