“Many, many years ago, the foot long hot dog was the best to be found. The brand of weiner that's used now and longer than the bun tastes terrible. My visit to Nanny's while in the area was for the hot dog; so disappointed.
The service was good, and the owner was very nice.“

“This place is right next to the Hamptonn Inn in Elizabeth which is pretty convenient. It wasn't super busy and they sit you down quickly with some good drinks. Our server seemed newer at her job, or perhaps not very good but the food was pretty tasty we had no complaints. \n\nIt's not fine dining but unless you want to eat at the food court at Jersey Mills or IHOP, this was the best option we found.“

“Calos Restaurant never disappoints! My absolute favorite is the linguine garlic with chicken and broccoli (yes, a custom order and they always get it perfect 🙌). The calamari is hands down the best, and they even offer a gluten-free option! And let’s talk about the drinks… Omg amazing. The mango lemonade and mango tea are my go-to favorites. 🥭✨ The arugula salad is to die for, and if you’re looking for a weekend treat, their brunch menu is pretty great too! Fresh, flavorful, and always made with love. A must-visit spot in North Arlington!“

“Highly recommend! We had our wedding at Galloping Hill Golf Course in the summer of 2025. The day was everything we could have hoped for and everything went so smooth! We worked with Emily throughout the process and she was great to communicate with. Any questions were answered right away. We wanted a venue that had both inside and outdoor options and loved that it had a covered patio for use all night. Ellis was our day of coordinator and both of our bridal attendants made the day run so smooth. Our guests loved cocktail hour and dinner. There was a great amount of food we went with the seafood station, pasta, Brazilian, and Chinese. We also did the breakfast sandwiches to go for the end of the night! The golf course made great photo backgrounds as well. We had the best time and would do it all over again if we could!“

From Mike who sat with her to get it all on the calendar and get the ball rolling to all the individuals who were preparing the room when we arrived to start getting all the decorations up and all. Tara supervised all the servers and made sure they were on top of everything - and they were. Shout out to server Madison (sweet girl). And, the food was *absolutely* delicious!

“New Providence Bar and Kitchen was the perfect place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. We came for lunch and immediately the staff made us feel very welcome. The menu, from the drinks to the entrees, put a fun spin on familiar dishes—just enough to be unique without deviating too much from traditional favorites. The calamari appetizer with chili peppers and capers was the best I’ve ever had— flavors were amazing. The Parmesan-crusted salmon was also tasty and my wife loved her meal too. “Terrific and nostalgic fare. Got Turkey club for my meal with their delicious French fries. The sandwich was good enough to conquer my hunger and I only ate half. Took home the leftovers. My husband had the classic burger with French fries and it was huge and cooked to perfection. He said it was juicy and full of flavor with all the toppings. We both liked that the French fries came in a metal cup container because it kept the temperature longer which allowed us to eat them warm. I chose the green tea iced tea and thought it was perfectly not too sweet. Hubby got plain iced tea and it was unsweetened and terrific too. Prices are comparable to the area with tip just under $60.“

I only gave atmosphere a 4 because the DJ today was way too loud couldn't have a conversation with my husband over the noise. My first time experiencing this at Tops. I hope it was a one time thing.“

The drinks are still a bit “weak” but they were good tasting. The service was good too considering that our waiter had a whole section to work by himself.

“Westayed at the Holiday Inn before our cruise and liked the convenience of an on-site bar/restaurant. We were greeted by the friendly hostess. The restaurant had great modern vibe with good music & decor. The service was on point and our food & drinks were really good! Portions were generous & prices were reasonable especially for an airport near New York. We ordered the calamari to share which was my husband's favorite. Then he ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and I ordered the Mediterranean salad added falafel & house made blue cheese dressing & they also brought the vinaigrette which I am glad they did as it really made the dish. We enjoyed all of it! Would highly recommend this place!“

“I had such a wonderful time at Applebee's with my family. Our waitress Mikaila was wonderful and sweet. The assistant manager Derek also came by to ask us if everything was well. I love they were both attentive and gave us a great time. Good was well cooked despite the busy hour I came in. Would recommend 10/10“

“I rented here for one year and I had no issues with my apartment. I felt the price was fair for the fact that it was furnished, with all utilities included, and had a gym that I used often over the year. It is also within walking distance (7-10 minutes) to Newark Penn Station. Parking was not included but I knew this before renting. I paid $250 per month to park in a lot right across the street.

This would be a 5-star review if not for the prolonged process for receiving my security deposit which dragged out over 30 days as others have mentioned. However, Maurice the current manager communicated extremely well and kept following up until it was ultimately returned to me in full.“
