“I have used Lucky Bones’s Eric three times in the last five years for catering parties at my home/in my yard. Twice I also booked waitresses with my party. The food is always delicious, the service reliable. We ran out of chicken tenders for the kids once and they brought over a new batch! Everything is set up as ordered and arrives on time. You can’t go wrong with them for your party. My father’s small after-funeral reception was in their back room and my husband and I eat at the restaurant at least once a month. Highly recommend.“

“We waited over 45 mins for our table. We were then seated out on the patio but the heater didn't work and we asked to move inside since it was cold. The table inside was broken and slanted to the point that our food was sliding off the plate. Service was good and food was yummy but the seating was a disaster.“

“We enjoyed our day down the shore and eating at Wally's Our server Stephanie was friendly and fast. We had a problem with our cold coffee drinks and she fixed them right away. We will definitely be back again and recommend eating in to get out of the heat for a bit.“

“Tried the Jake's famous pork sandwich.
Asked the lady behind the counter if it was sharp provolone and she said it was but once I tried it, it was not sharp at all. Ok no big deal but took a star from the service.
The pork is good but slightly over chopped, The broccoli rabbe was just balanced but not sauteed.
Nonetheless, the sandwich was tasty.“

Went Friday night they were able to accommodate our party of 13 very easily. Ordered a few different starters for the table. my friend loved the raw oysters and bang shrimp. We enjoyed everything from crab cakes to grilled chicken to the Halibut special and the ribs. We all enjoyed our meals and will most definitely be back again!“

“We celebrated our 53rd anniversary there tonight. They could not have been nicer to us. They treated us to a very special evening. Balloons at the table and complimentary champagne. “We stopped here to grab a quick lunch/dinner before the 6pm ferry. Just wanted a quick and decent good meal. Wow were we impressed! Everything was delicious. Kendra was an amazing efficient server. “Charming restaurant with friendly staff and excellent food. The menu has traditional dishes and comfort food. I loved how cozy the dining area was with plush booths and etched glass. I came here specifically for The Crab Au Gratin, something I rarely see on menus these days. I highly recommend pairing it with pasta in a butter garlic sauce. My husband said the fish and chips were excellent and we just came back from the UK. They had a nice kids menu and my son enjoyed the fried shrimp. The pricing was reasonable for a shore town. It's located between stone harbor and cape may. We'll return again!“

“We were drawn to this place because it seemed like a “real” restaurant rather a showplace for the latest trends. And it’s true! There are no “apps” here, and no “handhelds.”” It’s not fancy in the least, though the atmosphere is colorful and relaxing. The food’s not fancy either; instead, it’s simple, extremely plentiful and delicious. It was refreshing to be there!“
