“Food is amazing staff needs to pick the pace up alittle they like to stand around and talk and decide when they help you … we waited at hostess booth while 3 people saw us … then when paying the bill 3 ladies were standing there talking. They finished there conversation while me & the kids waited till they were done talking to come and help us …. To me working in retail I’ve always been told customers come first …. Just saying“

“We dined on Friday, 10.31.25 supporting the Cape May Restaurant Weekend. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Red Snapper Alla Plancha that was impeccably simmered in a tomato-saffron cream sauce along with the delectable additions of mussels, rock shrimp, creamer potatoes and confit fennel. I had the wonderful opportunity to sample the Grilled Duroc Pork Chop with aged gouda potato purée, ginger glazed vegetables, sherry wine cream sauce and seasonal mostarda that was done to absolute perfection. I haven't cleaned my plate like that for years! My wife echoed that it was one of the top three dinners that we have ever had as a couple....Our service was second to none from the expediters, bussers and our very warm and personable server, Anna, who just added to the overall dining experience. A five star event for sure!“

“I have used Lucky Bones’s Eric three times in the last five years for catering parties at my home/in my yard. Twice I also booked waitresses with my party. The food is always delicious, the service reliable. We ran out of chicken tenders for the kids once and they brought over a new batch! Everything is set up as ordered and arrives on time. You can’t go wrong with them for your party. My father’s small after-funeral reception was in their back room and my husband and I eat at the restaurant at least once a month. Highly recommend.“

“This place is the real deal. The food was fantastic, the decor/environment was perfect for the beach. Our family cannot wait to return next year! I wish it was in my town! The staff was outstanding. The table we sat at was a shadow box type,it had shells and things for the kids (and us adults) to look at during our very short wait for food. 10/10.“

“After USCG graduation in Cape May we spent the afternoon along the boardwalk. Our new graduate wanted a cheeseburger so we happened upon the Doo Wop Diner. The waitress was one of the best we’ve ever had anywhere. She was kind, pleasant, attentive and made great food recommendations. All 6 of us had cheeseburgers with zero complaints. I recommend the fried pickle burger with added pepper jack cheese. It’s not cheap for a big family but the atmosphere and service was def worth the price. The French fries were over the top delish too.“

“Enjoyed The Y.B. during restaurant week. Was our first time and we will be back. Everything was fresh and well presented. The service was excellent. “Hi I want to sing my praises to two of your waitresses that went above and beyond during our meals while vacationing in Wild Woods. Our first Experience and 2nd we had the pleasure of having “Niki” and truly we could not ask for better service than she offered,her tone,her understanding and the way she treated my toddler is immeasurable and the small details that were paid attention to were not found in other establishments we tried. I hope she knows how valued and appreciated she is by our family! We stopped in for one last meal before heading back to MD and we were cared for. A waitress I don’t re call a name but long curly hair,and a smile that lit up a room and was welcoming,her table side manner was fantastic she joked with us and also treated my daughter remarkably well where again other establishments frowned upon her questions or acted as she wasn’t talking. Furthermore,Noticing the whole atmosphere was a fantastic vibe, Everyone was smiling and working as a team. Can’t wait to return !“

“I almost hesitate to write this review because I want to keep it "secret" but I think most people already know about it. We ate in the "Secret Garden" in the back of the Virginia Hotel and it was simply incredible. Even in mid November, the temperature was perfect thanks to the heat lamps. The food was nothing short of fantastic and our server, Mickey, was very personable and attentive. I also got to see how she handled a "difficult" table and she was kind and professional. Very impressive. For dessert, we ate on the Virginia Hotel Porch and it was so much fun. The Virginia Hotel and Ebbitt Room are Jersey Shore gems.“

This is a favorite dish of mine and I usually reserve ordering it to finer esoteric Bistros and Trattorias I frequent. Yes, I dare say it, BOLDLY that the Chef Olympic Flame not only went "toe to toe" with the finer eateries I am familiar with but actually bettered the lot of 'em!! After this most satisfying experience, I was desperate to meet the Chef behind this most Perfect Pasta dish. The waitstaff directed me to the Chef, who was extremely appreciative when I explained the aforementioned to him. Anyone out there visiting the Jersey Shore and wants to have a truly "Unique" dining experience, I strongly recommend ordering the Shrimp Pasta (or any Pasta Course) "The" Olympic Flame Restaurant. You Will Not Be Disappointed!!“

Asked the lady behind the counter if it was sharp provolone and she said it was but once I tried it, it was not sharp at all. Ok no big deal but took a star from the service.
The pork is good but slightly over chopped, The broccoli rabbe was just balanced but not sauteed.
Nonetheless, the sandwich was tasty.“

“We enjoyed our day down the shore and eating at Wally's Our server Stephanie was friendly and fast. We had a problem with our cold coffee drinks and she fixed them right away. We will definitely be back again and recommend eating in to get out of the heat for a bit.“

“5 stars! The food is cooked well and seasoned perfectly. Had a quesadilla last night and had to come again for the tacos! Very friendly staff and cute atmosphere.
